I have gone here 3 times now, and feel like I can give an honest review now. The process to purchase units of wrinkle relaxer has been super easy after the first phone call. I now just email the rep who helped me the first time, when I need to buy more or make an appt. I usually send an email and ask for deals and she tells me what is coming up so I can get a decent deal. The Tacoma office is usually very busy so it can take a while to get an appointment. The technicians who do the procedure have all been very nice and efficient. I will say that I have more bruising on my face here than I have had in other places and the xeomin does not last as long as dysport or botox (but it is cheaper). Overall, I am happy and will continue to go to Ideal Image for my "Maturing Skin" issues. read more

Predatory business practices. Charged my elderly mother over $700 for a service, took her to the back and then told her they couldn't perform the agreed upon service unless she paid for a $300 additional treatment. She didn't want to do that and they were unable/unwilling to refund her money. It looks like they recently changed owners; the signage on the outside doesn't match the inside. I should have been tipped off by that fact but my mom had been saving for this procedure for a year. I also had to help her update some forms on an iPad and had to do the same information 3x, evidence of a redundant cheap system that doesn't keep track of patient information appropriately: should have been another tip off. Anyway. I don't advise this place. Not accredited in BBB. Do your research! read more

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! I was scammed out of $644! I booked an appointment for Botox and filler. I gave them a card for the hold. And was going to pay with a different card at my actual appointment. They said they could not use a different card because they had already charged my card. They refused to simply transfer the payment to another card. Which caused my family a month without that much needed income. I the. Was given the runaround for a month until I finally got to the "top" person who was extremely rude and unapologetic. Just to be told they were not going to give me my money back and I HAD to either lose the money or be forced to get a procedure. Which at that time I wanted nothing to do with this company. Now I've lost my money. They are an awful company with terrible customer care. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Super weird that I can't schedule 7 weeks out instead of 8 weeks out for my laser hair removal because I'm going to be out of the country so I have no other options but to wait super long and miss my laser window to get in unless I post pone my trip and move things around? I get that the hair is on a grow schedule and needs to be lasered at the end of each cycle or whatever but if I pay all the money down then I think I should have final say on if it's okay to put me down for 7 weeks instead of 8 due to being out of town. I wish I would have gone some where else and just paid more. The number of rules and regulations they have in place makes it extremely hard to book and do anything after my package is used up I will be going elsewhere and pay more just to avoid how bizarre all their BS is. read more

I would not recommend or have services at Ideal Image. They are more interested in upselling instead of providing quality services. I had 3 rounds of Botox within 5 months and after each treatment, I had to go back for more Botox as I was not seeing the results I was accustomed to from other providers and exact same treatment. Ideal Image's recommendation was either to purchase more units which was already 20 units more than I had ever had, OR lower my expectations due to their provider's placement of the injection. I did speak to their provider about how their Botox is diluted and she said it can be different which makes me wonder how Ideal Image is doing this? If you're not getting the results you expected and their answer is to give them more money, they are not a reliable provider. read more

They are money hungry scam artists. They won't let anyone cancel and get a full refund despite being within the 72hr window or within the 30 days of their membership. They lie. I would suggest NO ONE ever do business with ANY Ideal Image branches. You'll be left with a loan to pay and no way to get out. STAY AWAY FROM IDEAL IMAGE. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND READ ALL THE REVIEWS ONLINE. read more

I booked services over the phone 9/18 for Botox 9/20 My appointment was cancelled by the provider, this was a one time situation where I wanted to get services for the birthday trip I was going on the following day. When my appointment was cancelled an hour before the appointment, I hadn't seen the text and still arrived. The receptionist informed me she could re-schedule it which wasn't possible because of the dates. I asked her to cancel it and if I would receive a refund to which she said yes. That the charge was just a hold on my card. This was 9/20 that this all happened. Still no refund as of today so I called corporate only to learn that after a certain period I am not eligible for a buyers remorse refund, even though this was not a case of buyers remorse, I was cancelled on. They will not issue a refund and I pretty much must receive services or forfeit the money. This is a scam, this is ridiculous, I'm going to escalate this situation legally. It's not even about the $200 but about the principle. Contacting the BBB because to cancel on a client when the client picked the only day that worked, then to say "whoopsie, you still have to get these services a different day or you can't get your money back" is very odd Especially considering online their terms state that there is only a hold for Botox, that you don't pay in advance. read more

If I could give no stars I definitely would this place is so quick to take your money and then you get there to find out you cannot get any treatment while you have wasted all the time going there waiting and have already paid in advance for all your treatment. The lady upfront couldn't tell me when they would give me a refund, she will have to start a claim to refund you which we don't know how long it takes. Let me just put it this way avoid it all together. They don't fully disclose everything either, they wait till Your already seated in the room. and I watched another girl walk out as well right before my appointment thinking that was odd. So beware, stay away from these places & go to a private practice because you will regret coming here and how they deal with everything. read more

Ideal Image Tacoma - Waiting area - Laser Hair Removal Near Me - Tacoma, Washington

So far, my experience with this company has been TERRIBLE (not the nurse in the actual one appointment I have had so far.... she was absolutely lovely). Expressed all of my concerns back in October before the contract was signed, I was reassured that those would not be an issue. Signed contract, eight thousand dollars down. Oh.... but now we can't start for eight weeks (You're gonna tell me you're going to run specials to get people to start, take their money, and then can't even start for eight weeks? Seems like a pretty stupid business model). Irritated.... oh yes.... but went with it. Made my first appointment and second appointment over email in an attempt to not have scheduling issues. Showed up today for my second appointment, and I am told there's no appointment on the schedule for me that day. I mean I still had the email showing we scheduled the appointment. I get it, mistakes happen. However, when it's the FAULT OF THE BUSINESS, the proper things to do is you make accommodations. Instead of making ANY kind of accommodation, I'm told I 'just have to wait' for my next appointment in ANOTHER EIGHT WEEKS. If I could get out of my contract and get a refund, I would. We were even looking at doing the same thing with my wife, but no way I'm going to spend another eight grand with this company. I'll re-update this review at the end of my 16 month 'contract' and share how they handled this for those that are thinking about signing with this corporation. Hopefully they earn more stars, but I'm not holding my breath.... read more

I like this place for laser hair removal. The people here are very professional and the location is convenient. Scheduling in person is easy after your appointment (and the best way to get appointments) , they book all the upcoming 2 or 3 appointments for you right away. They were very good with face-to-face customer service and worked with me to get me the appointment dates I needed. I have to admit calling their office to schedule an appointment or to make changes is unreliable because they don't usually answer or they never call you back after you leave a message...so that's the thing they really need to work on. Other than that, I would recommend Ideal Image for laser hair removal. They have many different and personalized packages to fit each individuals' needs. read more

I came here for Botox and Juvederm lip filler. I was nervous bc after purchasing the membership I saw a ton of negative reviews on yelp. Im so happy I went. The Botox kicked in about 2 days after for me and my face is now frozen just the way I wanted. There is no botox dilute here. Love love love my lips. I usually get Ultra Plus but the tech recommended Vobella and Im obsessed. The shape is so beautiful. We enhanced my bow and gave an overall fullness. I get so many compliments. Im glad I came here and now have the membership for further discounts. Will be coming back for sure! read more

I wish there was a way to give a negative score. Scam scam scam!! Watch out. I wanted to sign up for coolsculpting services. Not only did I have to go through a second party for funding, (AND THEY NEVER GAVE THE OPTION TO PAY FUNDS DIRECTLY) they were going to start charging me for services when I hadn't even scheduled an appointment. Then when I called ideal image, they insisted on having a credit card for the initial phone call to make an appointment. At that point when they said they couldn't schedule me for an appointment, until February, but we're going to start charging me a month from now, I wanted to cancel. Cancelling with the second party lending company, takes a 25 day process for a claim. Ideal image then claims you still owe Ideal Image for services if you cancel the funding through The second party services. Incredibly deceitful! ***** Update 12/14 This company has reached out to me twice to attempt to assist in my dispute. Disputing and refunding the payments to Ally lending still enforces a contract, in which I'm not eligible for or have received treatment. I have never once set foot in their office or attended an appointment besides the initial review with their sales personnel. This company is running a SCAM!! They will be reported to the BBB *** Update 12/14 I received a call from the Ideal Image regional leadership. They have resolved the issues. read more

I just had my first session yesterday. I cried when I got home. For the first time in years I could touch my face and I didn't feel stubble. It was smooth. The process hurt wayyyy less than plucking and waxing. Everyone who worked there was nice and considerate. I was a bit nervous and I did see other reviews. Some of the negative reviews I saw were folks that (I feel) did not fully understand what they were purchasing and what it would do for them in the long run. I feel confident that was the right choice for me. read more

I went to the Ideal Image in Tacoma to have the cool sculpting done, 2 full sessions (with mini sessions in between) with 8 sections done each time and no results. I followed the after care and continued to eat healthy and work out and got nothing but a huge bill in result. Their machines malfunctioned each session and it became a waste of time. I do not recommend this treatment at this facility. read more

My experience wasn't good. It took forever to get in touch with anyone to schedule. Then I was quoted a price and when I arrived the front desk lady told me a completely different price. I was told to be there at 12:30, I work nights so I forfeited my sleep, drove all the way there to be there on time, then was greeted and told my nurse would be with me closer to 1. I was taken back well after that; and then when asked about medical history, was told they could not do treatment on me due to a minor reaction 10 years ago to contrast dye. Nothing severe or worrisome and she left the room and told them I had anaphylaxis which I did not. I completely wasted a day off, paid for my kids to be watched, waited forever just to be told no. read more

I've paid thousands to have laser hair removal services. It wasn't very effective and I've had to go in about 6 times already for follow-up treatments that cost me each time, despite paying for the lifetime guarantee. I was told they have another lifetime guarantee that I should buy that would give me more savings - what was the first one I paid extra for then? Also, as of now, their scheduling system only looks out a week for follow-up treatments. Guess what - there's no availability in the next week, so I just don't get to schedule it...where does this leave me? With more unwanted hair then when I started, plus I'm out over $5,000. I'm very disappointed and regretting ever starting this process. read more

BUYER BEWARE is an understatement. These people are straight up unethical and have horrible business practices. I have never seen a chain lie such as they do. FIRST OF ALL THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.!!! They take your money right away but when you try make an appointment it's hard to find one and when you get scheduled they'll cancel it the LAST MINUTE saying they don't have technicians or someone to do the job! Bad bad bad. I was hesitant to come here after reading scheduling and other various issues. I paid because they scheduled me. Even after having a confirmed text message with my appointment time and it was in my calendar, they said I came at the wrong time. Trying to reschedule with them is impossible. Not best business practices here. Just want my money back and nothing to do with them again. Called to confirm my second appointment and they had canceled that because they hadn't heard from me. It's an appointment!!! You get what you pay for I guess and in this case you don't get anything for what you pay for. Also, they did only partial of my ultherapy and wondering on their equipment. Normally it is a painful to quite uncomfortable process and felt nothing. I had no numbing cream and did not take any ibuprofen. Something felt off. read more

This place is terrible to work with! They take your money up front and then scheduling is a complete nightmare. They've messed up my husbands appointments twice (out of four so far) and then can't get him in for another month or more so treatment is being drawn out for months on end. They never apologize and since they already have all your money there is nothing you can do but eat it. I would definitely not recommend using this location. read more

Please be very careful when you sign up for laser hair removal. It is thousands of dollars and is completely nonrefundable the second you sign the contract. They make you take out a personal loan with 9.9% interest even if you want to pay cash in full. You can't get any sun exposure or do any waxing while receiving services otherwise you could get injured by the laser and the services take place over a year so make sure you don't have any sunny vacations planned for that whole time. It is also extremely painful, like you're being set on fire and the smell of your hair burning and seeing the bright laser zaps is very unsettling. None of the above things were explained to me before I signed the contract so I deeply regret that. The actual nursing staff were nice and caring to me and the facility is clean, that's the only reason I'm not giving zero stars. read more

Impressive! I got juvederm in my lips and not only do they look phenomenal but they have the best shape I've ever seen on me. I've had my lips done at two other locations and this location for the first time and they don't look over done but look perfectly plump. They didn't put any on the sides but right in the center making my lips look more full but not more wide. It was done exactly how I had explained that I wanted! This is 1 syringe . The photo was taken two days after! read more

Horrible customer service over the phone!!! I'm new to laser hair removal. After having a great experience at a different med spa(advanced laser clinic) I wanted to try and see if I would have an equally good experience maybe at a cheaper rate with ideal image. The woman I spoke to over the phone was extremely pushy and rude with trying to sell me a yearly package when I just wanted to know what a single session would be for myself to try with them. I'm sorry, but I want to know what the experience is like with a service before I sign a full yearly contract!! I did not get a good feel at all. I'm so happy I came to look at reviews after because clearly all these people care about is taking your money and not giving you a quality experience. Sorry, but I think I will pay a little extra to keep my other amazing experience at advanced laser clinic down the road in Tacoma! read more

Another person who should have read reviews before doing anything with this business. I have not received any services and in the process of requesting a refund. After an hour long phone consultation the person I spoke with made sure to leave out the fact that this would be non refundable even before you have anything done. so basically I have to pay for something when I haven't had any services performed. Please, update your policy. don't charge people until they have procedures done. Until then, please issue me a refund in a timely manner and I will gladly revoke my negative review. If you want to charge people something before they have services performed, maybe charge them a non refundable deposit of a certain dollar amount. Not thousands of dollars that they just lose out on when they decide they don't want the service anymore. read more

These people are crazy. I called Friday, 3/1 at 2pm for a consultation appointment, it was scheduled for 3:30pm, 3/2/2018. Feeling uneasy about the high pressure sales tactics, I did some research online and decided to cancel. I called backed 15 minutes after scheduling to cancel. The woman on the line cancelled with no issues and asked if I would like to reschedule. I explained no, and asked to just cancel. 3 minutes after hanging up, I received a phone call from the same office asking to reschedule. The woman kept talking over me after I politely sat on the line listening to her ramble about the services. She wouldn't stop talking so I cut her off to say I was not interested, please cancel. She replied, stating my appointment is cancelled but she wanted to answer any questions I had. This is now 5 times I said cancel. She kept trying to rebuttal so I hung up on her. I don't have time to sit on the phone asking them to cancel over and over. Today, 3/2, at 12:26pm I received a call from their office, and let it go to voice mail. Stephanie left a message saying "sorry you missed your appointment today." One, my appointment was scheduled at 3:30pm today, not before. Two: my appointment was cancelled, nothing was missed. Stop trying to strong arm me into an appointment. No means no. read more

I am updating my review. I would like to let everyone know that My whole fiasco began one week ago with ideal image. One week ago and I STILL have seen no refund. The person who I spoke to on the phone told me a request for a refund was sent in and it would take 48 to 72...or hopefully quicker...weeeellllll they were wrong. One week. I'm going to have to dispute this with master card if by the end of the day I still have gotten no refund. I have other bills my to pay theft until I get my money back I can't pay. The laser treatments were OK. Other treatments: Botox and fillers not satisfied. The nurses have limits on what they can do. Better to go to licensed physician office to get more thorough coverage. The staff and nurses at the Tacoma office were professional and kind. BUT-- BEWARE OF CORPORATE AND THE RECURRING MEMBERSHIP CHARGE. Very difficult if not impossible to cancel the membership and recurring charges. No info on website. You have to call multiple times. I got disconnected 11 times in one day. They will say membership cancelled (I received email) but still charged $299. Have to respond to another email to formally cancel but email did not come (despite receiving two emails from company two days prior). Many BBB complaints--I filed complaint with BBB and FTC. I got the membership cancelled but cannot get the $299 recurring charge credited back to account. I disputed the charge on my credit card. NOTE: I DID fulfill the financial obligations of the contract for services received. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Do your research on BBB and FTC. She seemed confused as to why I was under the impression that I was going for another round of treatment. Uh, hello, because that's what we agreed on when I scheduled the appointment?? Why would I drive an hour round trip so you guys can snap some photos? I have half a mind to call them tomorrow and ask for a refund for the remaining cycles. This is getting ridiculous. The receptionist staff here is inept at accounting and handling what they call contracts.
