Charged my elderly mother over $700 for a service, took her to the back and then told her they couldn't perform the agreed upon service unless she paid for a $300 additional treatment. She didn't want to do that and they were unable/unwilling to refund her money. It looks like they recently changed owners; the signage on the outside doesn't match the inside. I should have been tipped off by that fact but my mom had been saving for this procedure for a year. I also had to help her update some forms on an iPad and had to do the same information 3x, evidence of a redundant cheap system that doesn't keep track of patient information appropriately: should have been another tip off. I have gone here 3 times now, and feel like I can give an honest review now. The process to purchase units of wrinkle relaxer has been super easy after the first phone call. I now just email the rep who helped me the first time, when I need to buy more or make an appt. I usually send an email and ask for deals and she tells me what is coming up so I can get a decent deal. The Tacoma office is usually very busy so it can take a while to get an appointment. The technicians who do the procedure have all been very nice and efficient. I will say that I have more bruising on my face here than I have had in other places and the xeomin does not last as long as dysport or botox (but it is cheaper). And was going to pay with a different card at my actual appointment. They said they could not use a different card because they had already charged my card. They refused to simply transfer the payment to another card. Which caused my family a month without that much needed income. I the. Was given the runaround for a month until I finally got to the "top" person who was extremely rude and unapologetic. Super weird that I can't schedule 7 weeks out instead of 8 weeks out for my laser hair removal because I'm going to be out of the country so I have no other options but to wait super long and miss my laser window to get in unless I post pone my trip and move things around? I get that the hair is on a grow schedule and needs to be lasered at the end of each cycle or whatever but if I pay all the money down then I think I should have final say on if it's okay to put me down for 7 weeks instead of 8 due to being out of town. I would not recommend or have services at Ideal Image. They are more interested in upselling instead of providing quality services. I had 3 rounds of Botox within 5 months and after each treatment, I had to go back for more Botox as I was not seeing the results I was accustomed to from other providers and exact same treatment. Ideal Image's recommendation was either to purchase more units which was already 20 units more than I had ever had, OR lower my expectations due to their provider's placement of the injection. I did speak to their provider about how their Botox is diluted and she said it can be different which makes me wonder how Ideal Image is doing this? I booked services over the phone 9/18 for Botox 9/20 My appointment was cancelled by the provider, this was a one time situation where I wanted to get services for the birthday trip I was going on the following day. When my appointment was cancelled an hour before the appointment, I hadn't seen the text and still arrived. The receptionist informed me she could re-schedule it which wasn't possible because of the dates. I asked her to cancel it and if I would receive a refund to which she said yes. That the charge was just a hold on my card. This was 9/20 that this all happened. Still no refund as of today so I called corporate only to learn that after a certain period I am not eligible for a buyers remorse refund, even though this was not a case of buyers remorse, I was cancelled on. They will not issue a refund and I pretty much must receive services or forfeit the money. This is a scam, this is ridiculous, I'm going to escalate this situation legally. It's not even about the $200 but about the principle. Oh.... but now we can't start for eight weeks (You're gonna tell me you're going to run specials to get people to start, take their money, and then can't even start for eight weeks? Showed up today for my second appointment, and I am told there's no appointment on the schedule for me that day. I mean I still had the email showing we scheduled the appointment. I get it, mistakes happen. However, when it's the FAULT OF THE BUSINESS, the proper things to do is you make accommodations. Instead of making ANY kind of accommodation, I'm told I 'just have to wait' for my next appointment in ANOTHER EIGHT WEEKS. If I could get out of my contract and get a refund, I would. We were even looking at doing the same thing with my wife, but no way I'm going to spend another eight grand with this company. Scheduling in person is easy after your appointment (and the best way to get appointments) , they book all the upcoming 2 or 3 appointments for you right away. They were very good with face-to-face customer service and worked with me to get me the appointment dates I needed. I have to admit calling their office to schedule an appointment or to make changes is unreliable because they don't usually answer or they never call you back after you leave a message...so that's the thing they really need to work on. The Botox kicked in about 2 days after for me and my face is now frozen just the way I wanted. There is no botox dilute here. Love love love my lips. I usually get Ultra Plus but the tech recommended Vobella and Im obsessed. The shape is so beautiful. We enhanced my bow and gave an overall fullness. I get so many compliments. It wasn't very effective and I've had to go in about 6 times already for follow-up treatments that cost me each time, despite paying for the lifetime guarantee. I was told they have another lifetime guarantee that I should buy that would give me more savings - what was the first one I paid extra for then? Also, as of now, their scheduling system only looks out a week for follow-up treatments. I followed the after care and continued to eat healthy and work out and got nothing but a huge bill in result. Their machines malfunctioned each session and it became a waste of time. After having a great experience at a different med spa(advanced laser clinic) I wanted to try and see if I would have an equally good experience maybe at a cheaper rate with ideal image. The woman I spoke to over the phone was extremely pushy and rude with trying to sell me a yearly package when I just wanted to know what a single session would be for myself to try with them. I'm sorry, but I want to know what the experience is like with a service before I sign a full yearly contract!! I did not get a good feel at all. Even after having a confirmed text message with my appointment time and it was in my calendar, they said I came at the wrong time. Trying to reschedule with them is impossible. Not best business practices here. Just want my money back and nothing to do with them again. Called to confirm my second appointment and they had canceled that because they hadn't heard from me. It's an appointment!!! You get what you pay for I guess and in this case you don't get anything for what you pay for. Also, they did only partial of my ultherapy and wondering on their equipment. Please be very careful when you sign up for laser hair removal. It is thousands of dollars and is completely nonrefundable the second you sign the contract. They make you take out a personal loan with 9.9% interest even if you want to pay cash in full. You can't get any sun exposure or do any waxing while receiving services otherwise you could get injured by the laser and the services take place over a year so make sure you don't have any sunny vacations planned for that whole time. It is also extremely painful, like you're being set on fire and the smell of your hair burning and seeing the bright laser zaps is very unsettling. None of the above things were explained to me before I signed the contract so I deeply regret that. Impressive! I got juvederm in my lips and not only do they look phenomenal but they have the best shape I've ever seen on me. I've had my lips done at two other locations and this location for the first time and they don't look over done but look perfectly plump. They didn't put any on the sides but right in the center making my lips look more full but not more wide. It was done exactly how I had explained that I wanted! This is 1 syringe . Very difficult if not impossible to cancel the membership and recurring charges. No info on website. You have to call multiple times. I got disconnected 11 times in one day. They will say membership cancelled (I received email) but still charged $299. Have to respond to another email to formally cancel but email did not come (despite receiving two emails from company two days prior). Many BBB complaints--I filed complaint with BBB and FTC. I got the membership cancelled but cannot get the $299 recurring charge credited back to account. I disputed the charge on my credit card. NOTE: I DID fulfill the financial obligations of the contract for services received. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Do your research on BBB and FTC. These people are crazy. I called Friday, 3/1 at 2pm for a consultation appointment, it was scheduled for 3:30pm, 3/2/2018. Feeling uneasy about the high pressure sales tactics, I did some research online and decided to cancel. I called backed 15 minutes after scheduling to cancel. The woman on the line cancelled with no issues and asked if I would like to reschedule. I explained no, and asked to just cancel. 3 minutes after hanging up, I received a phone call from the same office asking to reschedule. The woman kept talking over me after I politely sat on the line listening to her ramble about the services. She wouldn't stop talking so I cut her off to say I was not interested, please cancel. She replied, stating my appointment is cancelled but she wanted to answer any questions I had. This is now 5 times I said cancel. She kept trying to rebuttal so I hung up on her. I don't have time to sit on the phone asking them to cancel over and over. Today, 3/2, at 12:26pm I received a call from their office, and let it go to voice mail. Stephanie left a message saying "sorry you missed your appointment today." One, my appointment was scheduled at 3:30pm today, not before. Two: my appointment was cancelled, nothing was missed. They play manipulative games to charge money for services, even if they were the ones who had the error, and you didn't get it due to being ineligible as a candidate. The managers and anyone able to approve changes doesn't work in the building, so the staff have to contact via phone messaging. I had a skin treatment at this location, and it was a pain (literally and figuratively) from start to finish. The scheduling was next to impossible; when my appointment day arrived, the appointment was canceled by Ideal Image, and I had to schedule again weeks out. And the procedure -- which is not supposed to produce scarring when performed correctly -- left me with scarring. I was supposed to have been assisted with my concern through a 'case', but I haven't succeeded in ever actually connecting with a case manager more than a month and a half later.
