I love that when I ask Haley for something, that's what I get! She isn't pushy, and she doesn't make me feel uncomfortable, trying to sale products I don't need. Or, that I didn't ask for. She clearly takes a lot of pride in her work, and she is super knowledgeable. The salon is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. And Haley is the best!

I got a PDO thread lift that was mildly yet noticeably uneven. I saw Debra about a month…read morepost-treatment. She sat two feet away from me and told me that my face was naturally asymmetrical and that there was nothing she could do; said I would need to see a plastic surgeon. During the assessment, she did not touch my skin, which is concerning because assessing firmness/elasticity requires palpation. I know no person's face is perfectly symmetrical. My issue was the noticeable difference in the lift and tightness between the two sides following the procedure. My concerns were dismissed and I felt like I was being gaslit, as she was trying to convince me that the treatment did not cause the uneven results. The Dysport results were some of the best I have experienced, which is what kept me returning despite my issue with the uneven thread lift and her refusal to take any responsibility for it. On another positive note, Debra's staff were lovely, and I encountered no issues with scheduling or payments. My biggest issue was the botched Sculptra treatment I got in December 2023. Haley was friendly, but unfortunately the results have caused me a great deal of frustration. I had read that Sculptra should be administered by a board-certified provider, but I was reassured that Haley was very good. After treatment, I diligently followed the 5-5-5 massage protocol. Over the next several weeks, I saw an increase in volume and was initially pleased. But then I noticed nodules developing on both sides. Debra assured me that they would go away with time. Fortunately, mine were palpable but not particularly visible. Two months later, I noticed hypopigmentation in the treated areas. There were white patches of skin in the areas I had Sculptra injected. I was super busy with nursing school and didn't have time to focus on it. By September, the white patches were more noticeable after spending the summer in the sun. The skin around the patches became more tan as the patches remained white. I sent pictures to Full Spectrum and asked what we could do to make it better. Debra told me that Galderma had no reported cases of hypopigmentation and it must be caused by something else. Debra told me, "While I'm here to offer support, I'm unable to treat an area that Galderma has confirmed is not related to their product." I did not respond and decided it was time to stop going to Full Spectrum. A month later, I received an offer for 3 free chemical peels. I appreciated the offer, but respectfully declined since I had already tried chemical peels and the patches seemed worse. A week later, I received a text stating Debra was willing to do a Dysport treatment, and later I was offered a couple of microneedling RF treatments. I went in for treatment 11/2024. My face numbed, the treatment lasted about 5 minutes since just my cheeks were treated. I gave the woman $20 and planned to follow up for next one later. When I messaged to schedule the second treatment, Debra told me that she could "not afford" to provide another complimentary treatment. She offered to do microneedling RF on my cheeks for $80. Most upsetting was her statement that she had been "quite generous" for the Dysport and 1 session microneedling. From my perspective, I was dealing with permanent damage. A Dysport treatment and 5 minute microneedling RF treatment did not feel proportionate to the permanent skin damage, though I wasn't expecting anything beyond the Dysport and 2 microneedling I was offered. My husband and I are both RNs so this situation was not about money but rather about principle. I respectfully told her I was no longer interested in supporting her business. Complications may occur with cosmetic procedures. What I ultimately judge a provider on is not whether a complication occurs, but how the provider responds when something goes wrong. The patches are still visible after nearly 3 years. I don't like conflict and I don't like to complain, but after working as an RN, I am now more comfortable being assertive and this review was long overdue. Taking responsibility for mistakes and making patients whole is an important element of good nursing practice. Debra - I was respectful, understanding, and patient with every interaction. I never asked you for discounts or free services...they were offered to me then partially retracted. I appreciate you reaching out to offer some support but only after you attempted to avoid responsibility. I hope you have taken this experience into consideration when you deal with other peoples' adverse results. Whatever your response is, you and I know I have written this review with honesty and accuracy.

I cannot say enough about Larinda Ogawa, PA-C, and the exceptional care she provides at Cascade Eye…read more& Skin. Over the years, I have been treated by many medical professionals, and unfortunately healthcare can sometimes become so focused on the medical task at hand that the human element gets lost. Larinda is a remarkable exception. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional, yet she has never lost the human touch. She takes time to listen, connect, ask about your life, and make you feel that she genuinely cares about you as a person--not simply as a patient. As the current Deputy Mayor and former Mayor of Puyallup, I have spent many years working with and observing professionals from virtually every walk of life. You learn to recognize the difference between someone who is simply competent and someone whose character, compassion, and professionalism truly set them apart. Larinda is one of those rare people. There is no medical professional I trust more--not simply because of her medical knowledge, but because of her humanity. I am equally impressed by Larinda's commitment to mentoring the next generation. On many visits, I have seen her teaching a student or intern. It is encouraging to know these future medical professionals are learning not only medicine from her, but also what compassionate, patient-centered care should look like. I also want to recognize her assistant, Bailey, who is bright, personable, professional, and has tremendous potential. I understand she hopes to pursue PA-C training herself. To any program considering Bailey: take a serious look at her. She has an exceptional mentor in Larinda and the potential to carry that same combination of professionalism and humanity forward. Larinda represents what healthcare should be at its very best: excellent medical care from someone who has never forgotten the person behind the patient. Cascade Eye & Skin is fortunate to have both Larinda and Bailey. -- Dean Johnson Deputy Mayor & Former Mayor of Puyallup

For the girl or guy who is scared to get liposuction at this clinic:…read moreYesterday I had liposuction done by doctor Perez at the Tacoma clinic. Waist, hips, and full abdomen. I cannot stress how well I feel this procedure went. Like anyone I looked at the reviews before I booked the surgery and was SPOOKED. The recent reviews are filled with bad experiences. So when I called Liz to schedule my procedure (after she chit chatted with me about a trip I had just been on) I let her know my worries and concerns and the amount of reassurance that woman gave me was astounding. She let me know that most people with good experiences don't leave reviews so I'm here to do just that. Not only is the whole team that worked on me so amazing and friendly, but they walked me through every last silly little question the whole way through with zero annoyance or frustration. And boy did I have a LOT. During the procedure they played the kind of music I wanted to listen to and allowed me to have my face covered with glasses on so I wouldn't have to see what was going on upon request. All that to say this is not a completely painless procedure, BUT it is only in the beginning with the numbing. It was the equivalent of getting numbed up at the dentist just a bit longer and on your stomach haha. Some spots were more uncomfortable than others but all completely bearable. You truly are getting what you pay for when you decide on sono bello. I will update 3 months from now when I'm less swollen and more healed, but as of right now I am beyond happy with the procedure and it gives me confidence that everything will heal wonderfully.

Dr. Kim explained everything very clearly and had wonderful bedside manner. Stacy and Krystelle (I'm not sure how to spell her name) were both fantastic and the front desk was incredibly helpful. When you get MOHS here, you stay in the same room the entire time rather than shuttling in and out of the exam room. They take good care of you (which is good, as the wait is long) while you are going through this process. The surgery was smooth, and the follow up care was wonderful. The office called the next day to see if I had any questions or issues, and the directions given when you leave are very clear. Getting my stitches out a week later also went very smoothly, and my incision site looks much better than I had hoped. I have had several different MOHS surgeries with different doctors in different locations. All of them were fine, but this experience was far above any of my previous experiences. I really hope I never have to have MOHS again, but if I do I am really glad to have Dr. Kim and her staff to return to!
