I'm writing this review now as I have completed all of my laser hair removal treatments. I got my underarms and Brazilian area done. I got 10 treatments done for each area. You usually only get 8 treatments (or 9, can't remember exact) for each area, however I still had a lot of hair growing back after my last treatment in each area so they extended it to add two extra treatments, which was nice. I will say I am very pleased on the amount of hair loss under my arms. I used to hate my underarms because my hair was so dark so even when I shaved it looked like I didn't and now after my laser treatment my armpits are so pretty!! I do have to call back to schedule another appointment for my underarms using my lifetime membership as there is still hair growing in various places (more then I expected). Now my Brazilian area has a lot more hair growing back then I anticipated. I will say the hair is so thin, light, and fine and I can barley tell it's growing, but I can feel it and sometimes I can see it once it gets long enough. A lot of people ask me if it hurts...And it ABSOLUTELY does. The underarm pain isn't bad at all. It's almost like a tattoo and the area is fast so it doesn't last long. Now the bikini/Brazilian area is the worst pain I've ever experienced in my entire life. I will say they used different lasers on me, depending on my area. One of the lasers they had to use was the strongest one aka the most Painful. There's really no pain like it, I almost quit cuz it was so bad. But I will say most of the nurses do a great job with applying pressure to it after each laser which helps take away some of the pain. I've had two nurses who were really bad and didn't apply pressure and it makes it so much worse because you can just feel it burning. They also have a numbing cream and I got it once but it didn't really work and it's expensive as is only good for one treatment so I stopped getting it after the first time. My friend is getting laser hair at another place and she said there is NO PAIN at all and she's already seen a difference. I would look into that cuz the pain sucks..oh and Ideal Image is super expensive. The fours stars is because 1. I paid a lot of money and I'm not 100% satisfied with my results in all of my areas. 2. It is soooo painful (not their fault) but there are other places where it doesn't hurt as bad. 3. Some of the nurses aren't as kind as others and don't apply enough or any pressure at all knowing it hurts super bad. Overall, I recommend for maybe smaller areas or if you have lighter hair. But I was a great candidate because I have darker hair, so I just thought my hair loss would be more then what it is. read more

My experience with Ideal Image has gone from hopeful to deeply upsetting due to unfair charges and the way I've been treated throughout the process. What began as a positive relationship has turned into a stressful and emotional situation I would not wish on anyone. I was charged fees I believe were unfair, and when I tried to reach out for help or clarity beyond the basic customer service number and generic email, I received no real support or resolution. I've made several attempts to speak with someone who has real authority, but I keep getting told by Nadia Conroy, who says she is the manager, that there is no one else I can speak with. Who is also supervising both Chandler and Peoria. This has left me feeling powerless and unheard. Even worse, I now feel targeted during my appointments, and this has created an incredibly uncomfortable and distressing experience for me. Yesterday, I left an appointment in tears, feeling discriminated against and mistreated. Unfortunately, I am locked into a contract and still paying for treatments, which only adds to my anxiety about continuing to show up. I don't know where to turn at this point whether this should be a formal consumer complaint or something for the Better Business Bureau, but I hope sharing my experience will help others think twice before signing anything or moving forward with Ideal Image. No one should have to feel this way while seeking care or cosmetic treatment. read more

So disappointed with the level of service I received at the end of my treatments. The receptionist at the Peoria location lacked empathy and sounded like she was reading off of a script. Horrible experience all around! The high pressure selling to the poor customer service. The receptionist was rude and barely acknowledged me and the tech was dismissive, inexperienced and was in a rush. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I should have just left! Do not sign ANYthing- they have you sign for a service and then keep billing you! Their billing department states that it is "a contact" and try to send you to collections! I thought I was getting a "deal" -instead I was angry by the time I left! Then I kept getting billed on a monthly basis and had "thugs" calling me to collect money on a service I never received and never asked for. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and won the dispute- but am still getting harassing calls. The had a "contract" that was signed electronically- it was NOT signed by me! When I tried to speak with the management, they kept saying "it's a contract- you have to pay". CRAZY. I would NEVER go back for ANY type of treatment! I am giving Ideal Image 2 stars because I was sold something I didn't need during a 'virtual consultation!' The reason this is not 0 or 1 star is that as I investigated the service I was sold, as I educated Myself about the service I began to learn that this was NOT anywhere close to the best service to accomplish my goal! When I called Ideal Image Peoria, the lady I spoke to scheduled an in -office consult. I was taken back to the consult room where Ashley, the manager was extremely kind, understanding , and cared a lot about this "service I paid for and didn't need!' I also met Ann, the RN who was professional and assured me that no one would have completed the treatment because they would 'evaluate' my skin and know this service is not going to accomplish my goal! Ashley told me she would work on getting me a refund and the next business day, she refunded my money! Tina is the lady who completed my virtual consult and I have no clue WHY she would have said the things she said in my initial consult and why she recommended BBL when clearly, I'm not a candidate for this treatment. I believe the nurse and office manager are good people. They are very professional ladies! The office is beautiful and clean. Ideal Image needs to eliminate this lady Tina who does these virtual consults because I now understand Tina consistently 'sells' services people don't need! Tina is creating a bad situation that should and could otherwise be a great place for cosmetic treatments. Nearly 6 weeks after being burned from a grossly untrained nurse I still have no answers. While the nurses call weekly, management has been a nightmare to get ahold of. Every email has a auto-reply saying how they will be out of office. I'm beyond frustrated. No one has reached out about my review despite all other reviews being addressed. Shame on this unprofessional company. Here is my initial review (posted on google reviews): Went for a touch up appointment for my legs and underarms and during the treatments kept saying how much it was hurting (I had done 9 sessions prior so I knew the normal pain level associated with laser hair removal). I mentioned that in my other sessions it wasn't this painful. The nurse doing the treatment said she turned it the laser up a few "intensities". After some small talk, I asked how long the nurse had been doing this. To my horror she said "2-3 weeks". She was doing solo treatments and CLEARLY wasn't properly trained. The first 5 photos were within hours of the treatment. The last 2 photos are current (9-10 days later). I'm still in pretty significant pain from my underarms and have areas that will likely scar. My underarm became ulcerated. The day after my treatment I went in and it was confirmed that these were thermal burns from the laser deal image never offered to reimburse me (around $300)for this treatment but instead said this happens more often than we would like". For a "med spa" that focuses on improving self confidence, I think leaving people with thermal burns/dark spots/ scars is quite ironic. read more

I was talked into a membership a year ago with the expectation that I would get better discounts. I initially had a procedure to reduce facial wrinkles, and I will say I was mostly pleased with the results. So, a month or so ago, I decided to make an appointment to have a repeat treatment. Their ad said $200. off for members. Being a senior on limited income, I always ask the price before I commit to anything. To my surprise, with the "discount," I was quoted that my out of pocket cost would be $800. and up to $1500. So, the membership which is roughly $3500. is worthless. This entire experience was horrible thus far. I have seen hardly any improvements, customer service is non existent, and they completely overcharge for it. If they tell you something, get it in writing or else they will not honor it. Front desk doesn't know how to do anything. They told me they'd update my card for my payments, took a payment, said she'd call me for my next appointment. Now, after I realized I haven't been in a while and called, they say I was a "no show" for my last appointment and i need to pay my "back payment" before they'll see me. He first asks I have never heard of the package you ( I am) are talking about, then tells me a 1000 dollar more package and tells me why I wouldn't go for that versus the cheaper one. I revived two cool sculpting treatments. I was not impressed and saw no difference. The first treatment my arm area was numb for weeks but the second treatment I was not numb. I believe it was not done correctly. I paid 3k for these sessions and am truly disappointed. I never saw before or after picture. No one ever followed up after my last appointment. I was interested in the facility after hearing some buzz. Filled out an online form, received a phone call and text message the next morning offering a special if I was to come in same day. I texted the person back and received no response. Figured it was a fluke. Later that day, I decided to call the facility to get more info. I thought I was speaking to someone onsite via a local number but the gentleman was in Kansas City and could not answer specific questions. I was told since I had already had the services I wanted in the past, I could breeze thru the consultation and have the services performed at the same time, during the same appt. Decided to make an appointment for the next morning. I arrived at my appointment at the scheduled time. Waited 25 minutes to be seen. There were no other clients. I paid $450 for a service, then told I would have to wait another 2 hours. I asked for a refund but was told it was not possible. 2.5 hours later I was brought back, but then informed that it would only be for one service because the next weekend had much more experienced staff. m very hesitant to do this knowing it will most likely be a waste of my time. I have complained on several occasions and received help once only to be taken away almost as fast. My video consult was a joke. She said i was not a candidate for lol sculpting on my stomach but a great one for my upper arms. I paid via credit card. I went to my appt and low and behold i was a great candidate for my stomach so that is what we did. I had two sessions on my lower stomach and while i was there they work led up a quote for the additional eight sessions. I reviewed the quote, called the office and went over it with the front desk person. I financed it through ally. I showed up for my next appt. I had four more sessions done two on my middle stomach and two on my upper. I had six sessions left that i had already paid for. I had my next appt set up already and upon leaving the front desk girl not the same one that i went over the plan with, tells me i need to pay another 1490.00. I had already paid for over 7000.00. I told her no that was not what i had been told and to please have the manager contact me. The manager was in New Mexico at this time. I left the office and within minutes received a text message confirming an appt for that afternoon. I had just left so i knew that was incorrect. That day i also found out that another inquiry had been made to ally for the 1490.00. I did not authorize this and was very upset and still am. I waited for a week I called back spoke to the initial person that i went over the plan with and she again left a message for the manager to contact me, which she did the following day. She told me that my credit would not be affected by the second inquiry, she also told me that she would credit me two sessions. After this i was never able to get an appointment. I then received a second bill from ally for 1490.00. I called and placed a dispute. Why would i open another account when the services paid for hadn't been used as of yet. Besides the fact that i still had plenty of credit available bon the account that i opened. Next i get a call from Ideal image stating if i do not drop the case i would looses all paid for treatments. I had to end up paying the additional 1490.00 to save my credit report. This place is a mess as far as management is concerned. I bought treatments with them prior to trying to get pregnant. That was a journey all in it's own as we had a few complications that prolonged the process. I called immediately upon finding out I was pregnant and asked if my sessions expired. They said they did not expire. Well now that I've had my baby and was able to start laser again I called only to find out they expired my remaining sessions. I showed the dates that I called to confirm several times that they didn't expire. I went to book my appointment to which I found they were booking about 5 to 6 weeks out. So I booked. I got a call stating that they had a scheduling error and had to move my appointment up an hour and 20 minutes and to call back to reschedule if it didn't work for me. It was fine so I let it go. Long story short they actually cancelled my appointment without telling me. I found out upon driving 30 minutes to show up for my appointment time that they rescheduled for. I have had it with the run around at this place! The scheduling and customer service is awful! The only reason for any stars are the staff who actually administer my injections. They have always been awesome. They literally gave away my appointment because I didn't respond to a text... I never received. I had an email but they said that it wasn't enough. I never received any phone call. The front desk did admit I wasn't signed up for text but wouldn't make it right except to say that she's sorry for my inconvenience. I hate to leave a bad review, I really do. It has been a constant problem with scheduling at this location. First time, they were short a worker (COVID, it happens) but they never called me to cancel and reschedule, so after i get there and follow the sign to not enter til my appt, time, I find out that it was cancelled. They said they called everyone but there were no messages or missed calls. And because they get so booked up I had to wait another two weeks. Second time was something similar, and third time they scheduled my appt too soon (only 4 weeks out) so when I got there they discovered that it was too soon but by then they were booked up so instead of coming in at the 6 week mark I had to schedule it for the 8 week mark- a mth after it was first scheduled. This is after I rearranged my schedule to make the appt work, and race to get there, only to find they won't see me. Again, mistakes happen, I get that. The last straw was that normally I receive texts and emails (more than one) confirming the appts but this time I didn't receive anything. Didn't realize I missed the appt til it was too late. Thought appt was on Tues not Mon. So that's partly on me, but having never received a text/email a couple days before when I normally always do, is also on them. They now can't get me in for another 3 weeks. Their suggestion, if I want in any earlier is to drive an hour+ to a different location. Maybe I should be happy for them that they are so busy, but my dealings with how they have handled my Scheduling's have left me feeling very frustrated. I'm sure they are very nice women at the front desk, but it does make me think twice about adding any other services. I'm not a customer. I called the 800 number to get info. I've had laser hair removal before I moved here and I love it. I wanted to set up my daughters because I figured I'd save them years of shaving and lots of $$on razors and waxing. To begin with they couldn't answer any of my questions and asked me to call the 800 number which I explained to her I had. I hung up called the 800 number and got the same girl again. I told her I just wanted general info on the laser hair removal and she said I had to talk to someone else. I don't understand why she couldn't answer me directly. I would imagine they have a price list of different services offered. The website said it was 70% off. If they were running specials wouldn't they know? I had a horrible experience with this company be very careful they will charge you for years and you will have to change your account they charged me $299 I got the work done and it was horrible it was like a 16 year old girl who didn't know what she was doing my lips were completely crooked my eyebrows were so funny looking that my family and myself laughed at until till months later and I got charged $600 just for the membership fee and 1200 dollars for getting it done I I got that done last year January 2022 did not go back to them and they charged me another $299 for a membership fee that they will not return you this place is horrible be very careful going here read more

Ideal imaging is a horrible place to go my first indication was I spoke to the lady for two hours to get the program started. I did voice my concerns about me taking medication and if that was going to be a concern and was told no Lady made my appointment for two weeks out the day I do go to my appointment as soon as I walk in the doctor comes out and ask for a doctors clearance. for the last six months I have had been trying to cancel my contract they still continue to take out money they took out over $900 out of my bank account never received any service with them. been told that I cannot cancel my contract until they dispute everything but the bank has already cleared everything not understanding where the hold up is I will never recommend this place to anybody. read more

I'm getting laser hair removal because I'm latina and have very thick long hair. Of course the laser does hurt a bit but results are really good. It feels like a rubber band hitting your skin so it definitely stings a little. As long as you follow instructions and wear sunscreen everyday then you shouldn't get any burns or bruises from the laser. This place is a fraud. They make you sign a contract for services and you have a benefit of paying extra to have "touch ups" after your contracted visits are complete. They release you before the results are satisfactory, and require you to pay for a " touch up" every time you come back. This is after you already pay a ridiculous price for a service. Now, they raised their "touch up" prices to 75.00 a session. The results are terrible. Do NOT waste your time and money here. Go someplace that gives you results without ripping you off. read more

I signed up for bikini laser hair removal a couple months ago. I'm already making monthly payments. So I have my first appointment today at 3 o'clock. The place is hidden so I walked all around for 20 minutes in 110° weather. The entire time I am trying to call them just to get an automated machine telling me that it is past their business hours.Just before I'm about to give up I walk into LensCrafters to ask for directions and they tell me that it's right next to them. I walk in at 3:17 covered in sweat and I explain my situation. The girl goes to the back to check it to see if they could still take me and they can't. They rescheduled me to the 20th. It sucks how excited I was for this procedure to be done only to be stabbed in the back. When I first did the initial consultation I felt very rushed and pressured by the finance team. I have never felt so forced to do something I didn't want to do. After the consultation was over, I took time to go over the paperwork and process everything that had happened. Many things that I read on the paperwork were never mentioned by the sales person during the consultation. Have your front desk personnel use real customer service. Ideal Image had request customers to give all their personal private health history without any information offered about there company or person who will be performing laser hair removal. Which this wasn't disscused beforehand when paying first time due to it being a zoom consultation which is understandable So we agreed TO PAY EXTRA FOR THAT SERVICE. but she never even inserted the Botox in that area but the area that was already paid for in the first place. We returned because we didn't see no results and she seriously told another employee "oh they said they didn't want the service due to being low budget!!" Like what?? I have not yet visited this location however, last night, I submitted a request for some info regarding laser hair removal. I knew that meant I would be going in for a consultation, but I was hoping to at least get a little info from them before the consultation. The website says they will text you, so I thought I could chat a little via text. Within minutes, I had 3 missed calls, voicemails and multiple text messages. The messages were very very pressuring to get me in there. I felt uncomfortable. I texted Stephanie back and told her I couldn't get down there right now, and that I would get back to her, to see if I could get there tomorrow. She again offered ANOTHER discount if I could get there that night. (It was between 5-6 pm after a long day at work) I work a full time job and couldn't drop everything for this consultation- I want to do it on MY schedule. This morning, they call and text me multiple times again, after I said I would let her know. To me, they just seemed very desperate to get me in there, (which scares me) and also highly pressuring and unprofessional. I do not like to be hounded and harassed. I ended up blocking the numbers. I am in sales, and totally understand getting customers, and being thorough, but this is the wrong approach. No one wants to be hounded and have discounts thrown at them without any real information. Beware!!!' This is the worse place to get your laser hair removal. They will Take your money and tell you that this is a life time guarantee hair removal. I paid 1500.00 in cash, at the time they would not let me do a payment plan. They acted as if there was no such thing but that if I paid that amount that day I could get that month's special running out at the end of the month. They said this special is Unlimited hair removal for the areas that were treated. If one hair pops up After years I can go back for free it's covered through that special. LIARS I had 8 sessions Than covid happen SO of course shut down and I tried to make apts after covid and every time every 6 weeks they didn't have any, they would tell me I had to go to Scottsdale 1 hour away. I called today to make an apt they said sorry you ran out of your 14 months you need to pay again. I didn't even get it done more than 8 times. I will be reporting to the BBB Don't go here. After purchasing a package and being unable to use all services purchased due to COVID, they are unwilling to schedule me for the service I paid up front for and did not receive. I even spoke with Margaret, manager in Peoria, and she said the contract expired and "we can't help you". That is fine, I hope they lose more money than I paid for when people stop going there. They lack customer service and are rip off artists. I will not be returning and I'm not only posting this but my friends will reconsider going there too.
