I let the person I spoke to that I was not interested and would not be using the financing and to finalize the application. I honestly hate to leave a bad review (my first bad review ever). This is so long overdue but I wanted to leave it in hopes to help someone else. First of all, I want to say that the actual techs and front desk staff that I worked with were always very nice and professional. My issue comes with the bigger picture. Back in 2019 I booked an 18 month contract with Ideal Image for two areas of hair removal (which would take many sessions with 6-8 weeks in between sessions). I told them I may try to have a baby soon and they assured me when that happened I could let them know and we could pause for as long as I wanted and then restart when I was ready until I completed the full 18 months. Enter COVID in 2020. I had completed maybe 5 or 6 sessions (hair was not gone yet) at this point but once Covid came the offices were closed for a bit (which is fine!). Once they did start to open up I had my 2 visits cancelled (by them) the same day, so I wasn't really able to have any visits once covid came. I decided it would be a good time to pause my contract since we were getting ready to start trying for a baby. When I called, I was told that the structure of the plans was no longer on a monthly basis and that all contracts were now set to a visit limit of 10 sessions total (again, due to covid). I thought this was perfect since 10 visits should definitely cover my hair removal and I could spread it out as long as possible. Hurray (I thought) Then the time came when I was ready to go back for a session (I believe late 2021 now) I was told my 18 month contract had run out and I needed to pay $60 per session (since I bought the lifetime guarantee) going forward. I tried to explain to them what I had been told and they told me it was untrue. Unfortunately I never got anything in writing because I thought I could trust their words. I called their corporate offices and spoke to about 3 different people on separate occasions. Each time was told they would look into it and then received an email saying I was "not eligible for extension". I ended up getting pregnant and having a baby so I gave up. Ive been meaning to write this review for so long but am finally getting the time to type it out. I'm out $1,900 so I wanted to post this review to help others make an informed decision for themselves. Again, the staff at this location was always very nice to me. And of course it becomes impossible to get an appointment. It took several tries to get an appointment. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, they tried to charge me in full for my touch up even though I told them I had the lifetime guarantee. This company turned into scammers! They are fast to sell you a service they can not provide. They took $1300 from me, however, my last 2 appointments have been canceled, 2 days prior via email with no name or signature, So professional! I've contacted customer service and got the same rehearsed speech telling me how much they care about my concern and someone will be in touch within 48-72 hours. Few more calls and an email, 3 weeks have passed and I have yet to hear from anyone. I am already bracing myself for getting the same answer I see here, promising that someone will be reaching out within 48 hours. Getting through to them is impossible, I've been trying on different days during normal business hours and their phone goes to voicemail. This feels sketchy, what business is not available to pick up a call during normal business hours, sends ghost emails canceling appointments, and ignores their customer concerns. I feel helpless. This is the worst place I have ever been. Customer service is horrific. You can't schedule appointments and when you ask questions they roll their eyes at you. I was charged for a Yearly membership that I will never use and asked for my money back from their corporate office. They refused to give me my money back ($250). So I am out $250. I was also sent a contract that I was supposed to fill out for a free treatment. Once I received the contract, I filled it out and I called the office to make sure it was all set and they said It was set. Let's start with the positive. The RN's know what they're doing. Corporate and the front desk however have no clue. My mom purchased a few units of Botox for me. It started with them sending me someone else's information from another state(this is corporate in FL) this is a medical facility, that should neverrrr happen. (Human error?) who knows... I would never recommend coming to this location or even using ideal image to anyone in the future. The burlington location cancelled on me multiple times during my year long contract. I paid for multiple areas and I saw results at first and eagerly scheduled follow up sessions. However halfway through my contract they began cancelling my appointments and rescheduling me to go to other locations. At the time I was told that they would reschedule me and give me an extension if it ended up going past my original contract. Like an idiot, I believed them. The last time they canceled on me because the previous providers no longer worked in that location. They emailed me and promised that someone would call to reschedule within the next week or so, and they never did. So, I called them a and they brushed me off saying the contract had expired and that there was nothing they could do without the regional manager who was away at vacation at the time. I called corporate and ended up talking to SEVERAL different employees during the following weeks. (Over a month in total) The general consensus was that I would be granted the extension and given 2 of the sessions I had missed because they had cancelled on me. No one ever reached out to me, I was the one calling every other day/ every few days asking for updates. It wasn't until today that one of the reps managed to get in contact with the useless branch manager, only to say that I was denied. I asked her why and referenced all of the other people involved who said I would get two additional sessions, only to learn that the area manager decided that my contract wasn't worth extending, despite never speaking to me, seeing the hair that still hasn't been fully treated, or considering the fact that they canceled on me right before my contract ended and refuse to make up the sessions they cancelled on me. This was by far the worst $2,500 I've ever spent in my entire life. This company is a complete scam and should be shut down immediately ! They lied to me, told me that I was a good candidate for laser hair removal on my face. They were so quick to sign me up and take my money. The laser hair removal treatments did not work on my face, if anything it made my facial hair worse towards the end of my treatments. The laser light created more hair on my face and I ended up with way more hair than before !! I contacted their corporate office to try to get a refund or at least half my money back since the treatments made my situation worse. The service was amazing. The woman who did the procedure was friendly, and great and knew what she was doing. And the place is beautiful and clean... And that's where the good ends. Long story short: lots of smoke and mirrors with their deals. But feel free to read further for details. I went with the intentions of just a FREE consultation. That you just HAVE to go there to get. They won't tell you how much procedures actually are until you sign on the dotted line. I have a skin condition called Hidradenitis Supportiva, which is aggravated by shaving, and laser hair removal is suggested as one of the best things to do for it. The sales woman, I will admit did a GREAT job at using smoke and mirrors and "you'll love this, you'll feel so great about yourself" BS to get me to the point of signing up for financing at 29% interest. That night they MAGICALLY had an opening for a session for laser hair removal. The whole time getting the procedure done, I was regretting signing that contract. Finally realizing what a mistake I made, I called the NEXT DAY to cancel the financing, pretty sure there's a right of rescission that could have helped me out at that point(just found out about this now). The sales woman stated I signed and that was it. Pretty much there was nothing she could do. Fast forward to today. I actually got my laser hair removal covered by insurance through a different place. I called to see what I could do with Ideal Image, and NOW the sales woman could do something. She sent over a refund agreement, but I still owe for that one session I got (that was so conveniently open that night).. Which totalled 723. She told me I have to sign the paper and have it back within 48 hours, which I did. And I've been calling ever since to see if she got it, so I don't get swindled into that "oh it's been 48 hours, deal's off". Everytime I call, she's out, or just left, but today, finally someone asked her, (I guess she was too busy to speak to me), and she got it. I have tried several times booking both of these services so that I could use what I have paid for. They keep cancelling my appointments (sometimes without my knowledge). I went to ideal image back in August for a procedure and was pretty happy with my results. I called in November to go back for touch ups and the women that I had gone to was no longer there. After much thinking I decided to go with the other RN Michelle. My appointment was for Monday at 4. They called Friday and left an appointment to confirm and then called Sunday and spoke with me to confirm my appointment. Monday at 11:30am I got a call that my appointment had to be canceled because Michelle had left. I'm not sure how on Sunday afternoon Michelle was working and my appointment was confirmed and less then 24 hours later she is gone and I am left with no appointment. When I thought about rescheduling they didn't even know when a nurse would be in or an exact time so I decided to skip out on the procedure with them. The front desk is nice I'm just a little disappointed my appointment was canceled 5 hours before. They are dishonest and have no expected treatment results. I want to give zero score but had to chose one star. Ideal image Burlington MA already charged me $3000 + for Botox, fillers and BBL. For BBL treatment ----I bought plans together, which is a bad decision. I had about 35 units Botox injections at Ideal image Burlington and Botox effects faded fast. It has been only 2 months and wrinkles came back. I also tried one BBL at Ideal Image Burlington. One day I went to Ideal image to have BBL. The whole process was extremely uncomfortable. The staff treated me like I was a animal. I was not a human being. The staff doesn't respect what I feel -- I feel huge pain and the lights are so strong and uncomfortable. I never completed one treatment of BBL due to huge pain---actually I only did 1/3 of treatment and unable to take the pain. But Ideal image ignores this fact and forged the charting. I've been going to ideal image for about a year now & I love their services but it is a bit pricey. But completely worth it!! I get my upper lip and underarms done & I have no hair in my underarms and 80% of my upper lip hair has been removed. I have sensitive skin & whenever I finish my consultation with Maria (the RN) she makes sure to put aloe over the areas and even gives me a little packet with aloe for when I'm on the go (which is a HUGE relief). She recommended that I pay for the service up front so i could hold my place in line and that I should expect to hear back in the next few weeks with an appointment. It's been 6+ months and I never heard from anyone. I emailed Kelly back multiple times and she let me know she could not refund me my 100$. Thank god I did not pay for the whole service up front like she suggested. Terrible! I spent $2,500 on cool sculpture and my stomach looks deformed. Since day one I have had trouble getting people to answer phone or call me back to make an appointment.
