What a farce! I drove an hour to get to my appointment only to be told I had no appointment/there was a scheduling issue. I had the confirmation email on my phone but the young woman behind the desk seemed ill equipped to deal with the problem. I got no apology only an offer of hanging around for a hour or so and they may be able to fit me in. I never got to find out how the injector was as I had no intention of waiting an hour. OVER injected me for more $$$$! A $225 + service cost me $569.50! I went to Ideal Imagine, Albany NY to Botox my forehead & a lip flip (I was given Xeomin). Waste of $$$. Lasted 6 weeks. Look at my before pics: The pic with BLACK dots are the proper reference point to where FOREHEAD injections should go. (Sometime a tech will place dots on the face as a reference point to where injections are needed. They're washed off before the service.) This was my last injection done somewhere else in 2018. A real Dr. Did this. NOT Ideal Image. Now notice the pic with the WHITE dots. (Excuse the ugly pic. I had no idea i would need a pic. ) I increased contrast to see the dots better. No forehead editing. The pic with WHITE dots is where Ideal Imagine, injected me. Waayyy too much! Uncalled for. I obviously didn't need or ask for this many units. (I was videoing & never saw the white dots until later.) The tech just kept injecting me over & over, in places I didn't need or request. I was never given an option. What were they tightening? NOTHING! All add on services never needed. She took my MONEY . Imagine people with deep lines? It will cost THOUSANDS OF $$$$! Ideal Image, intentionally ripped me off. No receipt was offered. She knew it was overdone. Over the last 6 weeks, before posting this review, I've called several times. No one's contacted me. Today I spoke to Jillian in customer service. I told her the story & practically begged to send her pics of my, before treatment. She refused to receive them. I said "how do you know what I needed injected, without seeing my before?" She didn't care. Jillian: "You got 64 units at $8.90 a unit. You got what you paid for." Me: "if you see my before pics, you'll see I never needed that many units! No one has called me in over 6 weeks! She assured me a call. Me: "Why would a mngr call me now?" Jillian: "The amount of managers I'm emailing about this, will make the manager at that location contact you." Me: "One last time, that's certainly why you should accept my before pics. Iclude them to all of the managers in that email! Otherwise they'll all say, I paid for 64 units." Nope. This is obviously normal practice... Over servicing clients. No one cares! Now I'm posting. DON'T GET SCAMMED!!! Upon arrival... The receptionist kept wiping her nose with her hand then used her booger fingers on the tablet I needed to use. DISGUSTING! I asked the tech several times what the price would be. She refused to give me a price, saying it'll be reasonable. You don't need much. Btw, I drove 2 hours for a 5:00 appt. The tech took a 5:30 appt BEFORE ME! She said "It was an existing client, I was only new." WOW. Finally she began at 6:15ish She was so argumentative but mostly overly conceded. As if she's better than anyone. Ya right!! It was so late, she practically rushed me out. She handed me a tablet to sign with a price. I quickly signed & left. Later I called to find out what she charged me! I never even was handed a receipt or any information on my services. Only then was I told I'd receive an email receipt. I went on a.cruise right after. I had no time to think about this until it wore off so quickly. For close to $600, I want it to last at least 9 weeks! Not to mention I specifically told her I wanted longevity. Huge Scam. I bought 9 sessions for my glabella, underarms and full bikini. They make you buy 9. I wanted to buy fewer since I already had some treatments with a plastic surgeon and wouldn't need 9 to take care of the rest of the hair. The sales lady convinced me by saying I may have to use the first 5 sessions in a certain time period because they expire, but the remaining 9 can be used whenever. So I figured I could save the remaining 4 as pre-paid touch-ups for when I would inevitably get some regrowth after pregnancy, whenever that would be. The lady also guaranteed all touch ups would be only $50 after I used the first 9 no matter what how pricing changes later as my contract locks in that price for me. She also advised I buy the full-bikini area (bikini, legs, anus) that way I can have any spot treated of that area treated as needed. And I can have it treated at any ideal image in the country, yadda yadda. Now 4 years later after my baby I had a small spot in the front of the bikini that needs a touch up. They tell me sorry, that was incorrect and all 9 prepaid treatments can expire, not just the 5, touch ups are now $90 and that price I was guaranteed is subject to change, so that "locked in" price is bullshit. And I can't just treat the spot I need for a cheaper price in my bikini area, because I signed a contract for the full bikini I have to always have the full bikini treated at touch ups, even if it's more expensive. Deceptive, predatory practices. If I knew all these terms I never would've shelled out the $5000. The worst is it's not like I signed without reviewing the details. I reviewed the details with the sales lady, she just blatantly lied, and she pointed out each bullet as we talked about it so I felt like everything was reviewed, but she had glossed over that I always have to pay for a full bikini area and lied about the expiration of the last four treatments and that the touch up price will be guaranteed. Please read before you come here or sign any contract with IDEAL image. I am really disappointed and I feel that I have been cheated. I came all the way from NYC to Albany to do retouch because I did not finish all the sessions covered by my package with IDEAL image I still have one or two more sessions remaining and I was not able to get them because I had major surgery. After I finished my last session, the employee asked me, when do you like to schedule your next visit. I told them not to schedule me because I will have surgery and I will not be able to schedule any visits for one year. The employee never mentioned anything about my contract and that I will lose my last one or two sessions if my contract got expired. After one year I called and scheduled an appointment and two minutes before my session begins they came and told me that I have to pay extra money because my contract with them is expired and I have to pay a deductible or I can not have the session. The deductible was not a small number. I paid a lot of money and they collected money for sessions that I never received and now they ask for more. Be careful before you come here read more

This has been the most frustrating experience ever. I signed up for a service that they require thousands of dollars be paid upfront. After the 1st appointment no one answered the phone. The main ideal image pleaded for me to give them 2 weeks to catch up. 2 months later, no callback,no answer when I call and now I get a run around from the main office. They still expect me to pay the money! I have contacted the better business bureau and the attorney general's office. My goal is to make sure these people never operate again in my town. Let me explain why IDEAL IMAGE SUCKS! What company doesn't want to hear how to better themselves?? I had initially made an appt back in December for 1/25/24. Had to wait a month to get in for Xeomin treatment (similar to botox). So on that morn I called to make sure I was going to the correct location. They then told me it was cancelled. But got me in anyway. I was assuming to come for xeomin and be out of there fairly quickly, AS MOST PLACES DO! Nope it was a consult only. I wasted my time and 40 minute drive to get there. Not happy then! So before I left the woman told me I needed 60 units and would be doing forehead and middle line between eyes. That's it!! I was literally sitting with Mary in her office and we made the 2/7/24 appointment for treatment as they couldn't do it that day. I had already waited a month to get in now I've got to wait longer? NO ONE TOLD ME TO CHECK EMAILS TO FILL OUT A FORM or it would be cancelled. What kind of system is that?? So I already have a bad taste in my mouth from this CONSULT appt. so I made an appt for myself elsewhere. They got me in within 3 days, consulted and did the work SAME DAY! Only needed 40 units and did forehead, middle line between eyes, crows feet, nose, frown lines and upper lip. SAVED ALOT OF MONEY and it was a pleasant experience. Then I call Amber at Ideal Image this morning (1/30/24) to cancel my 2/7/24 appt. and it's already cancelled and then I get hung up on, TWICE!! Now do u understand why I feel IDEAL IMAGE SUCKS??? It took 20minutes just to make an appointment for botox. Once I did, it took 30 minutes to to fill out a questionnaire. I told them My eyes were sensitive to visine (eye drops). So I spent 1 HOUR talking to 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Mind you I had Botox before. After all that, I had to have a conference call and they told me I had to wait a week for them to mix the botox with something else than saline. I was completely spectacle because a) whatever they mix it with will not work or b) if it's the better choice, why don't they mix it like that with all patients. They said I had to pay up front before they can schedule another appointment. Mind you this took 1.5 hours now of wasted time. They also charged me for 34 units while the other place 4 months before charged me for 14. Long story short, my forehead is now bruised. I paid $420 to look like someone punched me in my face. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the staff was nice and tried to accommodate me. But never again. read more

Albany NY location. Cool sculpting consult. I have had Cool Sculpting before at another location. This place is a total joke. They are intentionally vague when quoting fees. They tell you there is a 30% discount but they won't tell You what the 30% is off of. I asked several times what the "regular price" was and they just say "it depends on the applicator." My suspicion is that they raise the price that they are quoting you the percentage of the discount they are offering any given month to make it look like they are giving you a break. So I go ahead and get the quote for the treatment plan. Very misleading. They quoted me $3200 and said it would be 2 treatments. The way they discussed it made it sounds as though the entire treatment plan was $3200. So I paid half of that and secured the appointment for treatment. When I went for the treatment they asked for payment on the remainder of the treatment plan. I told them I was confused- that my intention was to pay 1/2 and 1/2. They then explained that the $3200 was for the first treatment and it would be an additional $3200 for the second treatment. I decided that it wasn't a wise investment- for $6400 you can go and get liposuction which is more definitive treatment whereas Cool sculpting won't necessarily get rid of all of the fat in the area you are treating. So I declined the treatment and asked for a refund to my AMEX for the amount I had already paid. They told me it would be 10-14 days. 20 days later I still ha e not received a refund to my card. Called today and was told the refund is "still pending." At this point I am going to call AMEX and dispute the charge. read more

It stings, it works (so far) but the cost damn near brought me to tears!! They're very sweet there and offer you a drink when you come in, not shy at all about talking about the hairy places you no longer want hairy so I was very comfortable speaking to the nurses. After my free consultation they offered me a free treatment (one underarm...) which was good because I needed to see how much it would hurt. In comparison to a tattoo, less painful. It just feels like someone spraying hot spray-on deodorant a couple of times. It only took about 3 minutes! Here's the catch. To get my underarms done ( 7 treatments, one every two months ) $3,500!!!!! Sure you can do financing and make payments but good Lord that's a lot of money. I had a coolsculpting consult a couple of years ago with Plastic Surgery Group after being told their pricing over the phone but ultimately decided to hold off until after getting pregnant/having kids.. Now that I'm a year postpartum I'm looking to have the procedure done, Ideal Image showed they were running a 25% discount off of their coolsculpting service. I called and spoke to Elias, he was very friendly but after asking 3 times what the specific pricing is that would be discounted by 25%, he could not tell me and said I need to come in for a consult first and then they would quote me.... What?? I told him flat out that with that logic, they could quote me full price or above and just tell me it's the discount rate since they refuse to disclose any set pricing... That is deceptive and unethical. If right out of the gate they are this incompetent, I do not want to find out how much worse it could get by actually scheduling a service with them. I have been struggling with facial hair since 10th grade, and being a woman in my 30s now I am drained emotionally and physically from having to maintain it every day with removal creams, plucking etc. After hearing countless advertisements for Ideal Image on the radio with their ad for the 70% off sale that they have been running forever I decided to take the plunge and call and set up a consultation. I had no idea what to expect money wise, procedure wise or anything. I knew two things, 1.The facial hair has been bothering me for way too long and 2. On Google customers have given Ideal Image a good overall star review. The beginning of my consultation was fantastic. Rachel listened to my needs, understood how personally invested I was in hoping they could remove my facial hair that has been upsetting me for 10+ years. She gave me a quick exam to access the area I wanted the hair removed from, showed me the laser they use and everything. I felt like I was on cloud nine, like finally something that was going to happen to fix something that has been upsetting me for so long. Where the appointment went awry was when we went back into her office to discuss pricing. Now some would think the pricing would have been the issue, But that actually wasn't the issue at all. For them to do my upper lip, chin, and what they call my upper neck it was going to be $2528.80. Yes, that is a lot of money, but in the back of my head I could justify it to my husband with how much I already spend on facial hair removing creams, and how much this has been upsetting me for so long. What upset me was Rachel said I needed to put a down payment or start my payment plan that day to receive that 70% off promotion. I asked why that would be the case, was the promotion ending? She said, no the 70% is typical for when you are getting three or more areas done, and when you get 2 areas done it tends to be 50-60% off etc. I said again, then why do I need to make a decision right now? Why can't I go home and talk to my husband about it since it is not a $10 procedure... it will be $2528.80. And no, my husband does not control the situation, but I wouldn't expect him to spend $2500 without consulting me first so I definitely wouldn't do that to him. She said that's how they have always done it and I could call him if I needed a minute to do that. The pressure she pushed on me to make the decision that day or I wouldn't receive the promotional price was ridiculous. I felt backed into the corner. I could have understood not offering the 70% off quote indefinitely because pricing changes, but why wasn't I at least allowed to go home and talk it over with my husband and sleep on it for the night? Was it a gimmick like at a vendor show or fair that I had to buy right then to get the special price? I even asked her, so if I go home and talk to my husband, I can't call back tomorrow to get things going without the pricing going from $2528.80 to the non discounted price of $7846.00? And she said no, I would need to call back by the close of today which at the time it was already 6:30pm and they close at 8pm. I then asked why she didn't tell me when I booked the consultation that I would need to decide that day to receive the 70% off special, because then I would have brought my husband with me to the consultation... but she didn't have an answer for that because lets be honest if a business told you that you had to decide that day on a medical procedure or the discount wouldn't be there would you think they were a legit business? No. So, when I got home I talked it over with my husband, tears in my eyes as I tried to explain how all my hopes for it felt so real and then when forced to make a $2500 decision within less than two hours it felt like my option was going to be ripped from me and I would be back at square one. My husband knows how much my facial hair bothers me and said call and book it then... but I didn't because I had felt so betrayed by being forced to make a decision that is very important, and certainly not cheap in such a harsh and rushed way that Ideal Image will never receive my business. Healthcare, and spending $2500 on a procedure should never feel like a rushed transaction. If only she said that I had a couple days to think about it or even made the expiration date on my quote for 1 week or 3 days, they would have had my business and probably the business of a few of my friends and family. But now, with how I was treated I nor any of my friends or family will ever be doing business with them. As a company that claims to be making people happy for so many years they should understand that what they are selling is not only expensive, but it's a cure for something that emotionally tugs on a lot of peoples feelings because it affects how we feel everyday so to treat it like a rushed gimmick at a county fair is bad business practice. read more

I would NEVER recommend this place, i signed my daughter up for facial hair removal the total "contract" was almost $5,000 just for her face since they consider every 2 inches a different area. Yes I get to make payments which I am still making. My daughter had her 9 sessions but still has black hairs on her neck, chin, & cheeks (we are italian). I called since it is a lifetime gurantee but what you do not see in fine print is they still charge you an additional $25 for each section...So another words you pay the $152 a month & an additional $125 if you still need to go. Seriously they should be put out of business, the girls that work their are either dumb or stuck up. I've been getting injections here for awhile and Leighann is great. Last time, I had a different person, Sam. She marched out to the waiting area and told me to make an angry face. I asked who she was and she said she was the person doing my procedure. I asked where Leighann was and she said not available. I was immediately put off by her rude demeanor and embarrassed she assessed me in the waiting area. I did not feel comfortable with her injecting me at all but I needed it done. I reluctantly let her continue and had the work done. She had a piss-poor attitude the whole time and made me never want to come back, which I haven't. I had also been told by another nurse that the nurses there inject themselves with the product at the end of the bottle.
