I have been here once before when driving thru Schenectady. I go out of my way for Dr Paula. She works on my body as a whole. As a truck driver I'm in constant need for an adjustment. I'm on the monthly plan and it's well worth it for me. I even go sometimes over for a small amount $. Today she worked my sacrum , shoulders, neck. Even show my Bf how to adjust my shoulder everyday! Now let's see if he will do it! Lol. I will be back in two weeks and I hope to get here during the week to see her. She is not here on wknd. Well I'm back and Dr Paula is on vacay. So I got Dr Mike! I chatted up the receptionist while I was waiting. Then I did notice Dr Mike was very gentle. At first I wasn't sure he was getting the work done. But after I got up I noticed a rib still funky. Sign up at your own risk!!! I joined a membership with the Joint in Clifton Park in the fall of 2020. At the time it was convenient because I worked 2 door down. After a couple of months, I got a new job that was nowhere near the area, so in February of 2021, I canceled my membership, as I found it harder to get all the way to Clifton park. I filled out the form required and terminated my membership. In August of 2021, I was looking over my credit card statement only to find that I was still being charged the monthly fee from April of 2021 thru August of 2021. I contacted the Joint and I was given the run around. I was told that an ex employee had reactivated several accounts after they had been canceled and that the owner was working towards compensating all of the members that had been wrongfully charged. I continued to call, but this issue was never resolved. They never reached out to me, they never event attempted to make this right! They still owe me over $500 that I was charged after my membership was canceled. It only took me this long to post about it because life has more important things that I need to deal with. read more

It is assembly line treatment. Get 'em in the door, crack 'em, take their money and on to the next. They run anywhere from 60 - 75 people PER DAY through that place, all the while being understaffed because they are too cheap to hire appropriate staffing. If you're considering working there, RUN. They have no paid leave and medical benefits, and getting a simply day off is almost impossible, because, again, they don't want to hire additional people. They are a franchise that isn't even owned by chiropractors!! Go to a real chiropractic office. read more

It's a rip off. Dr. Bell told me he couldn't help me anymore, I needed to see a surgeon. No problem. The problem lies in trying to cancel. I've been billed $89 a month for the last 2 months, because they don't have a cancellation form on file. I've emailed it twice and showed up in person to fill it out once. And surprise surprise ANOTHER $89 taken out of my account. The girl on the phone told me they still don't have a cancellation so she'll have to reach out to the owner regarding a " possible" refund. It's fraud. I've contacted my bank, the better business bureau and now I'm looking for an attorney. Save your money. It's a rip off!! read more

Paula is absolutely amazing! Every time I go in to get an adjustment she is beyond helpful. She's friendly, knowledgeable and knows exactly how to make me feel back to normal when I walk out. My experience with Dr. Paula was great! In town for the week and was really suffering from lower back pain, neck and mid- back stiffness. The joint took me on last minute. Dr. Paula was thorough, asked questions and went really in depth not just about my spine but even suggestions on me being dehydrated and some potential other things going on. She was SPOT ON with some things I was experiencing. The adjustment was great and she made sure to check in and see how I felt/if anything else felt off for her to address. Their pricing is AMAZING! $29 for first visit, then I believe $39 for single visits but they also offer some really great packages including monthly subscriptions (I believe I recall $79 per month for up to 4 visits) or 6 adjustments for $199. Really wanted to love this place, but my experience fell flat. Didn't feel a connection with the Doctor and the entire interaction felt ingenuine. The special "Introductory Offer" is essentially a $30 consultation. You'll hear a list of what's wrong with you, an estimate of how many sessions it will take to fix your problems, and then you'll be pressured to commit to a "Health Plan" that auto-renews every month. The budget plan is $80/mo for 4 sessions (3 free bonus sessions the first month if you sign then at your first visit), with a minnimum commitment of 2 billing periods. I have family that recommends this place. I'm thrilled this works for them. My first experience left something to be desired and I had no inclination to come back let alone commit to a membership. My introductory service with the Doctor lasted ten minutes. She cracked my neck and told me "X, Y, and Z is wrong with you. We can fix these problems once you sign a contract and return." I guess I wanted to experience a taste of the treatment I'd be receiving. Why would I invest in a product if I don't know it's right for me? read more

Shockingly fair pricing, no appointments, no insurance and your health takes a huge turn for the better specially for anyone with bad posture crooked spine hips issues or else. I was staying with family during COVID quarantine and my back went out. I have a regular chiropractor in my hometown, but couldn't get there for obvious reasons. I called The Joint and they told me to come right down. It was not the same as having my regular doctor, but they were able to get me in, adjusted, and finding some relief! Overall, I prefer having a more established relationship with my care providers but I am very grateful they were able to help me out. read more

Can I give no stars? What a horrible place. Today I went in in desperation because my neck was so stiff. I had on a therapeutic collar I had gotten from CVS to relieve the stress I felt from movement. My neck was sore, but no medical issue. The older gentleman was shaking his head rudely from the second I walked in. He said, in these exact words: "This is a wellness center. You do not look well." And refuses to treat me without x-rays from a doctor. What a joke! I guess they don't want to be held liable? I'm assuming because they've been sued in the past. No wonder why it's so well priced! Honestly, I went home still in pain but I was happy because their terrible service made me feel that I had dodged a bullet by going there. I'm usually a person to write friendly reviews, but this experience was so bad that it had to be the exception. read more

I really liked the Chiropractor, but I'm not a big fan of the office. As usual, and Im sure its a good idea, they try and sell you on multiple visits. This I'm fine with, because I agree i'll need a few before I'll be in good shape again, but I'm not someone whose planning on making this a weekly or monthly regiment. The packages they offer are like a gym membership, they want to bill you monthly for a visitation plan that slots you for 4 visits a month at 49-59 bucks a month. They don't except insurance, and I didn't want to sign up for a monthly billing plan so I paid $116 bucks for 5 sessions. Thats a little expensive since the place down the road is 15 a visit with my insurance. I'm not as big a fan of that Chiropractor though. After my 5 sessions, I may opt to explore a new office. That being said, the Chiropractor did a pretty thorough hands on assessment and explained herself well. I didn't have to sit through any DVDs and they didn't try and sell me on a foot scanner or any other silly crap. Her approach is not as heavy handed as the guy down the road. He laid into my back so hard I think her hurt as many things as he helped. I'd rather make an extra visit or two than suffer a new injury. She also didn't give me hard time when I asked her not to twist my head. I had to debate my other chiropractor on why it was I was concerned, where she just explained alternatives for manipulation of the cervical spine. Overall a great experience, too bad the payment plans are a little too corporate for me. read more

Doc Daigle (introduces herself on a first name basis as Paula) is amazing. I've been a patient two months. Within the first visit, Paula identified a dietary issue as a root cause of some of my troubles and following her advice I've experienced more relief than in years of primary care doctors' appointments and costly physical therapy. Adjustments to my tricky neck and shoulder feel great and keep me in shape for work. My husband had had mild nagging back pain for years and it recently became unbearable. Paula has treated him now 3 times and provided more pain relief and long-term care advice than thousands of dollars' worth of meds, ER trips and spinal surgeon exams. The whole practice is welcoming to our family; we do have kids in tow and I get that not everyone likes or welcomes children, so it's just nice not to be scowled at if my kids have to come with me to an adjustment. Office hours are super convenient and wait times are minimal. The subscription service is 100% worth it! read more

This is a one size fits all office. My son and I went in for two completely different reasons and we both had the same adjustments. The doctor was sooo rough she left me with a serious headache for 2 weeks. Im actually scared for anyone who goes here. I was just lucky she didn't break my neck. I was surprised I walked out of there. Lucky me I still get to pay them for another month and I would never go back!!! BTW this happened on the second visit. This place recently stepped up their game. The new doctor, Dr. Paula is so great! She showed me everything she was doing, step-by-step. She informed me that my hip was out of place and readjusted it. I feel a million times better now. She gave me pillow advice and she seems to genuinely care. Much better than before and I'm so glad. I live in San Diego but my Dad lives in Glenville and I was so relieved 2 years ago when I found that there was a "The Joint" near my Dad's for when I come visit. The doctor here has been great each of the times I've been here and remembered me after being away for 2 years. I've been seeing a chiropractor for various issues for the last 25+ years and her technique was spot on. Her neck adjustment was so graceful that I didn't even try to resist. And even though I didn't have my key fob with me, they were able to look up my San Diego membership quickly and without any hassle. Will never go to The Joint in Clifton Park again. I had decided to try "The Joint" when I was in the area and had some spare time, the Chiropractor Dave was extremely rude leading me to change my mind and just want to leave before any practices could even be performed. The chiropractor Dave then proceeded to get in my face and tell me to leave (which is what I was trying to do) and blocked my way out yelling "I'm a doctor" in my face and screaming "say chiropractor again I dare you!" "I'm a doctor!" While puffing his chest out and continuing to try hold me into the place and trying to start a physical confrontation. On this Sunday afternoon I didn't ever think what was supposed to be a $20 service was going to have to turn into a police report. Very displeased. read more

Unfortunately for the chiropractor who is employed here (because she is very nice) this place is a total sham. I have had migraines for the last few years and decided to give chiropractic care a try as an alternative solution to medication by itself. During my initial visit, I was informed the Wellness Plan would be a good option for me and even better I would be eligible for a military discount due to my husband's active duty status. When the secretary informed me it was a TWO month commitment I doubled checked that would be one additional payment following the one at my first appointment. Exactly one month later I came in to put in my cancellation form so that I wouldn't be charged past my two month commitment. However, upon entering the business and speaking with a man from corporate who has been there in place of the receptionist he informed me that your initial payment does not count as a "recurring payment." While it is my fault for not scouring the contract for this information prior to signing I thought I would warn others who may be trusting as I was to the person informing me about this service. I've had a number of memberships and never experienced such artful use of wording. Not good business practice and I would warn everyone else not to tough this place with a ten foot pole! read more

I was in such agony with back pain and decided to try The Joint after going to many doctors and basically being told to pop a pill and live with the pain. It was a life changing experience. Friendly, professional staff who were caring, thorough and took the time to listen to my complaints. I also love the fact that you do not need and appointment and can just stop in.
