Excellent Thai food and outstanding service. No doubt the best Thai in Ketchum but holds up well to Thai cuisine anywhere. Historically connected with Ernest Hemingway the property which had cabins is well worth exploring. read more

20$ for extremely greasy flavorless pad see ew. 3 extra dollars for any type of meat or protein which it does not come with which is odd. I would rather make the food myself for the price as it was extremely disappointing. read more

I'm perplex with the high ratings. This place is expensive and serves below average food. The shrimp in the claypot was so salty; I'm sure I got my weekly sodium intake for the week with this dish. Don't waste your money coming here. read more

Great food! Great ambiance, I was in town for a company event and had a taste for Thai food and saw this restaurant on my way up to my hotel and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I enjoyed the food it was delicious. Most of all, I love the atmosphere, I felt welcomed, however I don't want to leave out the smooth jazz playing in the background. Thanks for a great experience. Next time I'm in town I'll look forward to a repeat of the wonderful dining experience by the way, I had the basil chicken as well as the dumplings and a glass of Kendall Cabernet. Coming from the San Francisco Bay area, we are spoiled with amazing Thai food and have a good eye/taste bud for spotting good and bad Thai food. This was, by var, one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to. Our party of 5 gave it 5/5 stars. The tofu was amazing fresh, light and not tough and chewy. The lamb shank massaman was fall off the bone excellent and the vegetable dish with rice was perfect; with crisp vegetables and an amazing sauce. The staff were above and beyond gracious and friendly. HIGHLY recommend! read more

Cute place and good Thai food. Small with just a few parking spots. Greeted when we got there and sat very quickly. The guy working on Friday night was very friendly. We ordered the spring roll, delicious. Phad Kee Mao, delicious and so flavorful, fried rice and last the veggie dish. All were very good and spicy just as we like. Portions were good and fair. Dishes came out together and in a reasonable amount of time. Great place to have Thai. read more

Ordered seafood fried rice and it was delicious!!! And a large portion with big chunks of mussel, shrimp and scallops. More than I've ever seen outside of Thailand. I'm excited to return and try the curry! The price was pretty steep, but it's located in a very small town that caters to high e d travelers. Was so impressed with the quality and freshness of the seafood in a land locked state, so I understand the cost to import. But still feel it was a bit inflated. The lunch special is a fair price. Our first time here and it was wonderful! What a cozy atmosphere, old Ketchum feel in a sweet log cabin. Mark was very attentive and friendly. We had the crab Rangoon, house fried rice with shrimp and the cashew nut chicken, all three were excellent! Lovely date night, we'll be back! read more

We ordered a lot of food from this place because we had a big party. However the to go containers were made out of recyclable material and all the food just got soggy and stuck on the containers. Once we arrived home to eat it the food was not appetizing and we had to spend some time trying to take the food off of the containers. Bad choice in using these types of containers for Asian food. read more

I love fried rice and order it whenever it's offered on a menu. The fried rice at Ida Thai was mushy and had little flavor, though. The pieces of pork were very tough, and the bits of fried egg were few and far between. The sliced onions were plentiful and nicely sauteed. The cabin-type building is quaint, and the staff was friendly. Would I return? No. read more

It's a bit hard to spot from the north from the road, but well worth the stop. We were on our way out of town and stopped in for lunch. Each of us had a different lunch special option. I got the Thai jasmine soup, which was delicious, and my wife and son had pad Thai and green curry, respectively. They both thoroughly enjoyed theirs as well. A highlight of dining in Ketchum, but a bit tough to see. Keep your eyes open, because it's worth it. read more

Sun Valley Cabin ambiance with great food! One of my go to places for lunch dinner or take-out. Love the fresh rolls which are full of fresh veggies and the spring rolls are made in house and always disappear immediately. Our favorite family order is the Spicy Salad, Spicy Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao, Thai Basil (such great flavor!) , Cashew Chicken and Panang Curry. read more
