We had issues starting on Day 1 when we arrived and teachers were not wearing masks in the infant room. I told my concerns to the Director at the time who assured me they would wear masks moving forward. From then on we always saw her teachers in masks. We had several other issues including a lead teacher who did not provide our daughter any tummy time for several weeks, which we only noticed was happening after she stopped rolling over at home. On several pick up days, the fill in teachers in the afternoons were also using the iPads to show videos to our daughter. We also had some communication issues with her initial lead teacher Re later to scheduled and feeding. When the school director changed from Michelle to Ashley we had a discussion and Ashley addressed all of our concerns. They also brought in a new lead teacher for the infant room - Ms. Jessica - who we really loved and still think is a great infant teacher. The final straw for us, though, was 10 weeks after enrolling when we received the attached notification via the school's app on a Monday evening without any prior notice or warning. When I went to drop off our daughter the next morning, the director confirmed that vaccinated staff and parents would not be required to wear masks although they may still choose to. From what I experienced no one was checking vaccination status at the door. I told her we weren't comfortable with it, and she said that the decision was made by the owners the day before without any warning to anyone - teachers and staff as well. We weren't comfortable with this abrupt policy change, and I took our daughter home. I wrote to the director and asked that they reconsider requiring masks for teachers and parents in the infant room, otherwise we'd have to withdraw our daughter. I don't think this is an unreasonable request. They also already require you to clean your hands and put booties over your shoes to enter the infant room - why is a mask out of the question? The owner wrote me back and said they wouldn't be changing the mask policy and understood our decision to leave the school. The abrupt policy change without warning really put us in a horrible position. Thankfully we have grandparents who live close by and can help care for our daughter while we look for another solution, but if we didn't we would have no choice but to leave our daughter in a situation that we feel is too risky at this point. As a daycare which is intended to provide childcare for working parents, the school's actions have affected my job. Their actions certainly lost my trust and confidence that their school is managed and operated with my daughters best interests in mind. I am giving the school two stars because I do think the director and many teachers mean so well and do care about your children, but I think this school is experiencing several growing pains and that their management has some learning to do re: parent communication and relations. The same owners will be running the South Tampa campus when it opens as well and so we will no longer be attending that campus.

He was being sent home almost every other day due to behavior issues. Issues that come about ONLY at their center. While they gave incident reports and allowed a support specialist to observe, they never let that person implement a plan to help him. After speaking with multiple parents, many are unfortunately experiencing a similar situation as their child entered the 3 year old class. The behaviors they documented ex: tantrums, trouble with transitions, reacting to being scolded - are completely normal for a 3-year-old. These behaviors don't happen at home or elsewhere, which makes me feel the daycare environment played a role in shaping them considering he has attended for the past 3 years consistently. They raised my child. They raised my child to believe that this is how to behave in a daycare environment. Instead of supporting him through a difficult phase, they expelled him. If your child has big emotions or needs extra support, this may not be the right place. If you are wanting this center to be the care taker for your infant until toddler years, expect an unstable foundation, in which I was expecting the opposite. I do not believe that this center is equipped to handle children with big personalities or that do not fit into a narrow mold. I have since learned that this classroom is extremely chaotic and not structured. They absolutely need more experienced care staff for this age group. This was a heartbreaking ending to what should have been a trusted relationship. I do NOT recommend ** I want to add that this center BLOCKED me on Facebook after leaving the same review on their business reviews page on Facebook. Probably expected the review to go away. Do NOT trust someone who throws rocks and hides their hands!**

I am very pleased with kids cove academy in comparison to some other daycares I won't mention. Let's just say I switched five daycares in one year because I didn't see these other daycares meeting my children's needs. I wasn't just a parent who drops off and picks up I saw within as a worker and as a parent before kids cove became kids cove there was also Little Giants off Big Bend and Kids Cove Academy are probably the top two in the Riverview area & everything else is pretty average. I can say this because I either sent my children there or I worked there in the past ( five years ago or so) so I don't know how other child centers are now, but I want to compliment these two centers. Ms. Maribel & Ms. Chethana are excellent teachers & I'd recommend them both to anyone in the Riverview area needing VPK services.

When we were looking for a dance studio a number of years ago, we were searching for one that is casual, supportive and teaches the kids to love the activity instead of being excessively competitive and time consuming. We are glad we chose Dance Dynamics because they work with the students to teach them not only dance, but help them gain self-confidence and a desire to be kind to others. As a result of this, the studio retains talented dancers and has recently won a number of competitions. The owner, Renee, has consistently bent over backwards to be helpful, accommodating and fair with the students and their families, especially during the COVID closures in 2020. We explicitly trust her and her wonderful teachers and staff with our son and daughter and love the experience they have received in their time at Academy of Dance Dynamics.
