Discovery Point Suncoast has exceeded our expectations in every way. The teachers are warm,…read moreattentive, and truly invested in each child's growth and well-being. The classrooms are clean, organized, and structured in a way that makes learning fun and engaging. Communication with families is excellent, and you can feel the positive culture the moment you walk in the door. Our child has grown academically, socially, and emotionally since enrolling, and we have complete peace of mind knowing they are in a safe, nurturing environment every day. We are so grateful to be part of the Discovery Point Suncoast family.

Wanted to like this daycare but ended up pulling out kid out. 1. The set menu for the full year is…read morenot it. There is a menu for one week then switches to something else then goes back to the same as the first week for the third if that makes sense, nope. The food that is given is not very nutritious ("mixed cereal"- lucky charms and other cereals just mixed together or just a cereal bar or maybe some crackers and cheese for breakfast) the portion size are quite sparse too from what we saw from drop off in morning. Then given a hour by hour break down of general what suppose to be happening in class. We as our child if they did prescribed activity they would more time than not say no. An every day when we would pick up our child would be plopping front of tv screen and teachers would be cleaning up so what ever they say in on the schedule for after 5pm is incorrect the teachers wouldn't be cleaning up if would actually going to go back and do something. The teachers communication was horrible would just post things on door or a wall and just Lt expect the parents to see it. The school doesn't involve the parents no parents teacher review few if any way for parents to be involved. Say they post pictures or thing to their Facebook page and rarely sow any there and or don't remember ever signing a consent form for our child's pictures to but posted up. Would not recommend.

A Summer to Remember-5 Stars!…read more My child had the time of their life at the EYS summer camp! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The counselors were friendly and attentive, creating a safe and fun environment for all of the kids. The variety of activities kept them engaged and excited every day. We will definitely be coming back next year! Highly recommend!!!!!!

My experience with EMA for the last year and a half was amazing when it was under the leadership of…read moreCoach Shaun. Shaun is a true professional and expert in his field; he was amazing with the children and parents and he's been genuine and invested in every child he's encountered for the last 6 years at EMA. He was also a true leader with the assistant coaches, providing direction and lesson plans that they would carry out under his guidance. My boyfriend and I even started attending the newly launched adult classes under his tutelage and we had a lot of fun while training hard and gaining experience in a variety of striking and grappling techniques. Then things started getting dodgy on the EYS Billing end. First, the rate we were promised for the Adult Martial Arts class was not what we were charged and we had to dispute the transaction. Then EYS charged my boyfriend's account for a weapons seminar that he was informed was an "interest-only" sign-up. Then for the month of December EYS canceled 4 of the 16 Adult EMA classes and only discounted roughly $15 instead of $29 which would be the correctly prorated amount for the membership dues. Lastly we found out that the owner Jacalyn terminated EMA owner Coach Shaun. We are devastated. A business is only as good as it's leader. Coach Shaun was the best thing about EMA; as evidenced by all the prior testimonials. Only time will tell what happens to EMA and EYS. Sadly, it's the kids who will suffer in the absence of such a great man like Coach Shaun. Lastly, we recently received news that EYS is currently under investigation by the Department of Children and Families and this isn't the first time DCF has had to step in. We find all of the aforementioned instances intolerable. My boyfriend and I are no longer registered members in the EMA Adult class, nor are several of our colleagues after they found out about the owner's actions and treatment of Coach Shaun. I'm sure as word continues to spread, more people will be pulling out of EMA/EYS. My entire family is disappointed that EMA will forever be changed, and sadly we fear, not for the better.
