From minor one to the end it was constant movement. I do like switching between treadmill and weights. I run a lot, so the treadmill was great and felt so good. The weights part was sssoooo good! I never do weight workouts, and this one got me! It's the best kind of pain! My muscles were sore for the next two days, which is exactly what I want in a workout. I like that the lights are red in the classroom, but I will say the music was deafening loud, I had to cover my ears at one point. Next time I know to just bring my loops. By the second class, i had a better idea of what was going on and could follow the workout better (which it is a great workout) but it still felt rushed and all of the place and no one is very friendly here. One guy was on his phone texting for the entire class and it was a bit distracting. But the instructors and loud music is cool, and the workout is pretty good.

It's never crowded, towels are always in abundance, the place is very clean and the environment is very friendly. Josh, the Manager is a great example of someone who never forgets who the customer is, like some of the bigger clubs. He enjoys his work, being there and will go the extra distance to be sure you have a great experience while in the club. Trophy Fitness has fantastic trainers that are always happy to help. Kelly. the owner, listens to his members/customers and responds to them. I also recommend the Trophy Elevation downtown as well. I've been a member at Mockingbird for 10 yrs and would give them my highest ratings and recommendations!

I can't say I've ever seen a huge crowd. This place caters to an older clientele which is cliquish, well-heeled and rather cold to strangers, but it's still a pleasant place to work out. They seem to have a decent offering of classes (including virtual). Definitely not a place for kids or young folk. I thought the monthly fees were competitive and I signed up for a year at a time. It's too bad they are closed on Sundays.

Brian, Derek, and Holly, they made sure I never gave up and encouraged me when I needed it. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly that one looks forward to coming to workout and make friends doing so. The encouragement from everyone and loud music just fuels you.....come and experience it. With the help of an awesome crew and fellow crossfiters, I managed to lose 39 pounds in six weeks. Mind you, 26 were in the first two weeks. I gained inches and lost inches in the right places. This is a LARGE facility with plenty of space and multiple rigs. I also got to try out their brand new concept 2 bike ergs for one of the workouts. Signing up ahead of time was easy on their website, paid and signed the waiver before showing up. I highly recommend checking out this box if you're local or just traveling through and want to get a good sweat going!

For years, I felt too intimidated and too out of shape to try boxing classes, but after trying my first class with Lia, was insta-hooked. Offbeat classes are now a core component of my weekly exercise routine; I love that I'm getting a killer workout while also learning a new skill. Their Spin & Circuit training classes are excellent too, and every class has a healthy mix of beginners and seasoned athletes alike. I am a true beginner and have never felt out of place. Did I mention that the price is ridiculously reasonable? A studio of this quality would be 3x the price in Uptown and likely would not have the same friendly, down-to-earth, and downright dope-ass instructors/students that offbeat has. Lia, Mark, Manny, and Antonio are my fav for boxing and I love that they have distinct styles, techniques, and areas that they focus on. I'm due to try Jill's sculpt class or one of the Spin classes.
