Tod, the owner was incredibly rude towards the end. Seth the project manager was incredibly disrespectful and rude throughout the project, not fixing mistakes, not respecting our requests, etc. He lost all his workers during our project, and ended up with workers that were NOT experienced towards the end to put in our fence, you can already tell how that turned out.

Three companies responded - one didn't show up, another quoted the job so high that he didn't bother to send me a written estimate, and then came Jose. He was kind, upbeat, and thorough in his assessment of my expectations and offered a fair estimate for the job. He explained he had a pretty full schedule, but would do his best to provide service as quickly as possible. Sure enough, he put together a crew and found a way to get the job done within days. They did a remarkable job and went over and beyond what I had laid out as the scope of the project. Today, June 6, Jose's Landscaping came to the rescue once again. I didn't expect them to get to the job until at least mid-week, but Jose called on Monday morning and said he could take on my nightmare of a jungle by early afternoon. The same crew arrived and dug in (pun intended), providing the same excellent, over-the-top results in 88 degree weather! I am so impressed with this company and their fine crew that I would give them at least 7 out of 5 stars. They are polite, professional, efficient and beyond fair. If you have been missing the work ethics of days gone by, you will be delighted with this wonderful company.

They installed multiple French drains within a few days and so far so good re improved drainage! Next fall and winter will be the real test but so far so good. We also had them do our landscape trimming/pruning, and appreciated the suggestions to do certain trimming in the fall. Then we had them replace multiple wooden gates. DLM provided bids in each case that were very reasonable and significantly less than others. We are very happy with the services provided by DLM and will use them in the future.

At the suggestions of our neighbor, who did some work with Merino's for the other side of their yard, I reached out to them. Gerardo responded very quickly, got the pertinent details from my yard requirements, and showed up precisely when he said he would. They put together proposal, which was very competitive compared to the other ones, and I also had seen their work that was done on the other side of the yard. I was going to be out of town at the time, so I told him I needed it to be done before I left, or after I got back. He responded very quickly and said he could come out that afternoon and start the job. He showed up as promised, got the majority of the poles set that day, and his team came back the next day and knocked out 90% of the replacement and repaired fence. They showed up a day later for the final touches she clean up! Great job! I'm planning to bring him back to do some work on the front of my fence, which will be all on my bill. As far as splitting it with my neighbor, he did an excellent job of sending split invoices to both of us, no issues there! I would definitely recommend Gerardo and Merino's again.

I called and left a message and sent a couple emails and received nothing back. I was ghosted. Unprofessional response if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, they seemed knowledgeable and could perform everything I had on my mind in terms of landscaping but in terms of their lack of professionally declining their service I was not impressed. Upon speaking to some of my neighbors, they also were ghosted after receiving a quote. Very unprofessional. A good company should "thank you for your time" or at least acknowledge your decision or at the very least tell you they aren't able to provide the service you desire instead of leaving you in the dark.
