Literally the best cheesecake my family of New Yorkers has ever had--my mother actually compared it favorably to Juniors in Brooklyn (iykyk)

It saddens me to write this warning because this vendor has helped me out with events in the past,…read moreand someone who I considered a friend.  As a wedding vendor myself, I know what a bad review can do to your business. But I would not want a bride to hire a vendor that does not deliver on their promises. I paid Tiffany Sweets and Treats to make a birthday cake for my husband at the beginning of October. Unfortunately she was unable to make it, after payment had been made in full. She cancelled the order the day that I needed it. On that day, she told me that it could take up to 30 days to receive my refund. I granted her grace, even though it had not even been 7 days since the order was placed and paid for. Thirty days has now passed, I have not received my refund, and she has not replied to any of my attempts to contact her. Because she was a friend and a vendor that I had worked with in the past, I used regular PayPal for the payment. I want to warn any bride against this, because if there are any problems or issues, you cannot refute the charges as you can by paying through a business account. It is definitely worth it to pay the extra fees associated with using a business account. I wish all the brides the best with their planning, and to check references and reviews on ALL their vendors!

This is a follow-up to our previous 5-star on other sites written right after our wedding in July…read more2017. As most of you probably know, Tiffany promises an anniversary cake in the package you select upon hiring her to make your wedding cake. It is now a year and 2 months after my wife's and I's wedding, and we still have not received our anniversary cake. My wife contacted Tiffany via Facebook messenger at the end of June this year, asking about the process of setting up a date/time to pick up our anniversary cake. She quickly responded and gave her a date for when my wife could pick up the cake. She also mentioned that she would be away on vacation for a couple weeks after my designated pick-up date, and I told her I would contact her closer to the date to figure out a time and place to pick it up. Fast forward to the night before she was supposed to pick up the cake - she messaged Tiffany again asking about a time for the next day, thinking we would have heard from her before this regarding the type of cake and time/place to pick it up. My wife have since never received a response. My wife and I waited a couple of weeks for her to return from vacation, and then I called her. I called her every day for 2 weeks from various phone numbers and never received a response. About a month later, my I tried calling again, only to find out Tiffany had blocked my number. We contacted our wedding planner, and she then spoke with Tiffany later that night during an event. Tiffany claimed that she never heard back from us about our anniversary cake. After waiting another day or two, my wife then messaged Tiffany again on Facebook, very politely asking for a response as to what happened, to which she is still awaiting a response. My wife and I were so eager to receive our anniversary cake because we absolutely loved our wedding cake, and if we had known this was going to happen, we would have frozen what was left of our cake on our wedding night. We are still extremely disappointed and confused, especially since both my wife and I had recommended Tiffany to multiple friends after our wedding. Just beware - even though an anniversary cake is promised during your tasting, don't expect to get it.

I had their apple strudel which had come straight out of the oven so it was steaming hot and full of yummie goodness! You can see and smell the food going in and out of the oven. Definitely served fresh! And when its below zero outside, the pastries fresh out of the oven will warm you right up! They also serve hot chocolate here and in my opinion was a large cup portion than all the other vendors at this event. PLUS, they take all sorts of credit cards which the other vendors do not do. My apple strudel was covered in a light dusting of powdered sugar and every bite was extremely flaky. These people know how to do strudel!!!! They also have savory pastries here as well. At $4 (half) to $8 (full) a serving, its definitely affordable.

It's a house, y'all. Not sure what's going on, maybe they cater?
