This place is awesome. The staff are the best. Literally started making this a weekly thing. Took grandbabies and they loved it.

The man in the store that day had a cute baby with him, so it's nice to see a family business like that! Just a warning though: Before entering there was a lot of 'warning' signs. One went on about not using the porch swing inappropriately and being sued. We just figured it was a funny sign. I didn't bother taking a picture. It pretty well reflected the vibe of the store though. The man seemed a little uncomfortable that we were there and looking at the stuff for sale. We greeted him and he was cold? I figured he was stressed with his child? It is a tiny shop out in the country though, so it's something I should have considered before stopping. The shop is also an antique store and had some uncomfortable items for sale like a rebel confederate civil war uniform, a few ancient-looking rusty locks, and a piece of money that looked like it was covered in blood (not sure what that was about?). I felt others might find these details important. I didn't feel comfortable taking photos because I felt like I was being watched and didn't want the man to feel like we were 'reporting' him or something (??), esp being in the middle of a town where we knew no one. eek kinda scared even to write this review :(

Horrible advertising and horrible service communication. Their direct website displays incorrect…read moreinformation, or lack thereof. Me and two family members arrived at this location at 8:34pm, leaving 26 minutes before closing (9pm); as stated by their direct website. In front of us was another group with about 8 people. All 11 of us were turned away by the employees because they decided to close early. I can understand that they may have closed early because of an "off season". However, I find it unacceptable to operate a business with such disinterest in customer service if not properly disclosed. Their website does not include any information regarding warning of early closure. If all 11 of the people in line had spent $10, the company could have gained $110 in profit in a matter of minutes...only 4 extra minutes (of time they were scheduled to be open anyways) mind you!! I did not have the chance to speak any further with the group ahead of mine, but as for my group, we will never return to this establishment...as there is no telling that they'll even be open at the times they have listed on their site. What a waste of time. And to others who think we "should have called"...Customers cannot and should not be expected to call prior to arrival and ask about hours if the hours are directly stated on their website. No other establishment expects that of customers.

Still great. For food we tried the tiramisu & an everything bagel with Greek cream cheese. These were the stars of the show! I'm not normally a fan of tiramisu, but this was very good. Not too sweet, not overly bitter, very well balanced tasting treat. The bagel; fluffy & full of flavor. The cream cheese; savory, creamy, & the best cream cheese I could've paired with this warm & perfectly toasted bagel. Very spacious area with plenty of cozy seating and cute decor. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and did great explaining different menu items. I'd definitely return just to try this place all over again!

I am going to assume that you do not know about Local Thyme. It has just opened. The baker, Caleb puts a list of the items he wants to make for the week online and you place your order. He then will drop it off at Aragon Wine Market on Thursday nights when they have their free wine tastings. This went super smoothly the first time but not so much the last time. It appears that the person who was helping Caleb forgot to bring our order. My wife reached out to Caleb at around 6pm. He was at Aragon and said to our surprise that he would be right out to the house with our order. W-W-W what? Yep! Caleb drove the 20 minutes to our house, there is a toll, just to be sure that we got our order! Wow! Old school service, and the bread was fantastic too? Crazy........ So I get to work this morning and I am listening to one of my coworkers talk about this business she is trying to work with who is giving her the run around and not getting back to her. She complains that it is a brand new company and they are not trying very hard. I was happy to tell her about Local Thyme and what Caleb did for us last night. She immediately wanted to know the name of his business. I happily gave it to her. If you are sitting around thinking to yourself that you need something in your life and everything is blah and gray, I have just the thing to make your life bright and shiny again! It's sourdough cookies! Holy crap!!!!!!!! Those things will absolutely change your life. Just saying. Try them, you are welcome! Hell, its all delicious! I have a croque monsieur to devour for lunch today! I am so excited! Ok........Yes, you are right. I live to eat!
