Tom's is fantastic! I'm allergic to Gluten and Dairy and never get to participate in the traditional Ice Cream Shop festivities. Tom's however, has gluten free sugar waffle cones and several Vegan ice cream flavors. Toms is also so so affordable you don't even feel guilty. We bring our three dogs frequently and grab pup cups for them! Every person I've come across behind the counter, Tom included, has been so kind and accommodating. Every time I go here I get the BEST homemade ice cream!!! Basil Raspberry; Mango buttermilk last week and Strawberry Balsamic today just to name a few... They also have all the traditional flavors, sundaes, and banana splits like an old fashioned shop! We popped into Tom's Main Street Ice Cream for a sweet treat and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and explained all the flavors we had questions about, offering tastes if we wanted them, as well as sharing their own favorite picks. They seemed to have fun working together and welcomed everyone who walked through the door. The four of us all got something different and each was very happy with their choices. The Salted Caramel from Southern Craft Creamery was the big hit with its velvety texture and subtle buttery flavor. We all got smalls but the portions were generous and perfect for an evening treat. There is ample seating inside but walking down Main Street with your cone or cup filled with your favorite flavor would be a great ad for this darling little Ice Cream Shop. read more

I visited this sweet little shop in September, when visiting my son and his family. It was a great experience. First there are so many ice cream flavors to choose from. A diamond in the rough that is Crestview. Tom's Main Street Ice Cream not only has an ever-changing list of great Hershey's ice cream flavors but they also serve Southern Craft Creamery ice cream out of Marianna, FL. They have convenient hours (open pretty late considering the area) and the staff is always friendly. Southern Craft Creamery's salted dark chocolate is a favorite flavor, as is the Hershey's mint chocolate chip. My only complaint is that they aren't open Sunday.....which is when we always seem to want ice cream. :) read more

First time visiting Tom's and I was not disappointed! It's a small ice cream shop but plenty of room for seating if it's not too busy. I ordered the caramel cheesecake Cookie Monster and wow it was good. It's a cheesecake ice cream with finely crushed oreo cookies with caramel and another type of cookie. They let me sample the flavor before ordering and I knew that was the one I HAD to have. Other flavors include your typical bubblegum, mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, etc. a previous yelper said they rotate flavors so that's awesome as well. They also had gourmet hot chocolate which sounded delicious but I didn't try, although I would like to. Flavors include mint chocolate, double chocolate, and I think at least 3 more. I think the only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't actually see the ice cream, the counter blocks it. I personally like to look at the big tubs of ice cream because that helps me choose, but since they will let you sample flavors I guess it's not the end of the world. Ok, I've been throwing some 5 star reviews out lately, but they've earned it. This place has all the quality of a Cold Stone or Marble Slab Creamery without the high cost. The portions are very pleasant, the staff are friendly and the pricing is very affordable. This isn't Baskin Robbins where they take your wallet over the coals for some "meh" ice cream. The menu rotates at a reasonable rate. There is room to sit inside at long tables and a couple small two person tables. Bowl, waffle cone, cone and milkshakes all available. They don't make the ice cream in house but it is all quality. Shop local and buy local. These are good people. read more
