This place is still as excellent as ever. Best Ice Cream shop around and the dark chocolate covered pecans (both Gran Marnier and Amaretto) are the best Ive ever had. The store is always gorgeous...the displays just make you want to buy something. The staff as usual were very friendly and helpful. My favorite Ice cream Shop. read more

Best ice cream anywhere hands down!! Love their huge selection and their Butter Pecan is absolutely amazing and addictive!! They'll let you sample as much as you want! There is limited space and seating but it's an ice cream shop not a Michelin restaurant. It can get quite busy during the spring to summer months so do not be shocked if the line in some of their locations is out the door! Take the fam have fun and enjoy this tasty treat here in the Santa Rosa Beach 30A area! read more

BLUF: Homemade ice cream shop that gets very busy during the peak season but you can circumvent the line and buy pints. Pecan Jacks is a busy ice cream store in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach. I visited a few times during early/mid-April and it was booming whether midday or early evening. They have lots of ice cream flavors including flavors that are dairy-free and flavors that are boozy. I tried the Elvis (chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow and banana), coffee/mocha and Reese's. All were tasty and very creamy. When you put it in a glass bowl the cream sticks to the sides - that is how you know it's good stuff. Dense, little water, and no air whipped in. A scoop is $7, two scoops is $9 and a pint is around $13. I haven't quite figured out how many scoops are in a pint but I know you get to skip the long, slow line. We finally wised up and bought pints but we also only had a short distance to travel home. Overall a good but definitely busy ice cream store. Based on the quality of the product, I'd be happy to return, daily. read more

We are here for a month and we will hit this place at least 3 times a week and will become regulars It is the best ice cream we had in years, anything else is just imitation, extraterrestrial flavors and the guys working the counter do a great job Small shop with the right location on 30A I am glad there is nothing like this near my home read more

Reese's Reese's (4/5): The ice cream itself was pretty good. Very thick and sticky but definitely could've used a lot more mix-ins. The big issue is how expensive it is! RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this) read more

Best ice cream on 30a! Their candy is also amazing. If you have a sweet tooth this is your happy place

Came here every night. Friendly service from Angelica (blonde young woman, I hope that's her name). She was so friendly and above with smiles and conversation. You can't teach that. I loved the death by chocolate and caramel latte. Chocolate mint is nice too. So smooth and creamy. Big scoops. Ice cream cones fill alllll the way to the bottom. Love! read more

Best ice cream I've had in a long time! You can taste that it's homemade -- super fresh, super creamy, and packed with flavor. The staff allowed us to sample some different flavors. ALL of them were phenomenal. It was hard to choose which one! But I chose Oreo. So good! Don't miss this spot in Santa Rosa Beach. Pecan Jacks is a unique ice cream shop. The flavors are really different. Hubby loved all the ones with alcohol. You must be 21 to order. I tried them and they were good! I tend to stick to more traditional kinds. I got a chocolate mint one. I really liked it. The ice cream is very rich. A kids size is enough for me especially after dinner. If you have not tried their ice cream before, try it. They also have candy you can buy as well. We tried their peanut brittle before and it was pretty good. But go for the ice cream. Line is long but service was fast. We didn't have to wait very long. read more

Greta ice cream place! It had a Greta atmosphere, and the employees were really nice. It was pretty busy but the food was quick to come out. The ice cream was amazing! Definitely recommend this place! read more

Stopped in here after dinner for the first time for some dessert. The staff was extremely kind and let us try a couple of different flavors so we could know the one we wanted. When I get a craving for home made ice cream this is the only place I go! It's 100% made from scratch and they make their own waffle cones as well. They have a great selection of chocolate and candy but it's the ice cream that has me coming back. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and will allow you to sample almost anything. The store is brightly colored and always clean with tables outside to sit and enjoy your special sweets. read more

Chocolate covered Oreos are SOOOO good. Staff was so friendly & the pints of ice cream selection was phenomenal

OMG. We went at 9 pm on Monday, 6/24/24 and there was a pretty long line out the door, but it moved relatively quickly. We had ice cream in hand 20 minutes later! You order at the counter and then pay at the cash register, where you then get your ice cream. They also have candy and other chocolates. No space to eat inside, but they do have tables outside. I got one scoop ($5.35) of Oreo ice cream in a waffle cone. It was actually heavenly. Two scoops is $7.50. There's another location opening in West Midtown in Atlanta soon! Hooray! read more

We stopped in while waiting on a table for a hunk gulley next door. The owner was super friendly. We told him that we were just browsing while waiting on our table and he offered us samples and told us that there would be a line to get ice cream later. He told us that all the ice cream is homemade and made in house. We sampled a few flavors and said we would definitely be back after dinner. When we came back, there was a line out the door, but they have it down to an art and we were served super quickly. I had the lemon blueberry cheesecake and my hubby had the toffee crunch. They were both SUPERB choices and we both said that we will definitely be back. This place is small, but efficient. I also got some of their super yummy taffy that is sold by the pound. They have lots of candy options sold by the pound along with a case of homemade candies and treats that are also sold by the pound. There were several people in there that were on vacation and said that they come every night. I highly recommend this establishment if you are ever in the area. It is super tasty and definitely better than the chain ice cream joints. read more

elvis: peanut butter, chocolate, marshmallow, banana this has got to be one of the worlds most ingenious combinations. I am so glad i got to experience this ice cream and eat it two times. I wish it was nearer but also maybe its better that its not because my health might decline heavily. if you're in the area, go give it a try! read more

SO GOOD. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for some ice cream. I visited on a Friday night at 9:00, and the line was out the door. Wow!! The Kahlua espresso ice cream was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The employees were so nice and it was quite busy. They were pretty quick considering how many people were there. We went kind of later in the evening and it was pretty nice outside. We sat in the lounge area outside and it was such a nice atmosphere. I'm pretty sure I'm going to dream of that ice cream... it's a 21+ ice cream and tbh, I don't really drink alcohol at all, but I loved it!! Highly recommend!! Please order it and you will thank me. We were driving to Panama City Beach from Destin and decided to take the scenic route. On the way, we unexpectedly came across a little plaza and there was this ice cream shop in it. It had great reviews, so we decided to stop by and try it out. We went in and saw the wall of flavors. They have a bunch of options available, including fun ones with alcohol made inside. They let you try a sample before you commit too! We ended up with a fruity alcohol one and one with Baileys. Would highly recommend if you're in the area for a pitstop, they had a bunch of other sweets too, but we just had ice cream. P.S. They also offer a military discount. read more

If I'm rating by taste and flavors? Definitely 5 stars. But, there no seating, so, you buy your ice cream, go outside, even if it's only 78 degrees, your ice cream starts melting fast. So, that's the only reason I give 4 stars. Maybe call it 4.75 stars. But, the ice cream??!! I'm from Cincinnati, and we have a company called Graeter's. Up until my visit here, I was convinced that was the best ice cream I've encountered. And I used to travel quite a bit for work, so I've had the opportunity to sample food all over. No longer!! The selection at Pecan Jack's was crazy (not even including the "adult" alcohol infused choices). I chose the chocolate mocha caramel. Whoa! Perfect blend of all 3 flavors! Smooth, creamy texture! Incredible. Sorry, I don't recall the flavors my wife or son or daughter-in-law chose, but all were very happy with the flavors. We did not try any of the candy, but, my goodness! They looked fantastic. Definitely stopping here next time we're in town, and grab some of the treats, too! Don't waste your time at any other ice cream place. This is THE place!! read more

We went to another ice cream place a few days before this one, and we were pretty disappointed. Who knew this gem was a 2 minute walk from the other! This place was fantastic. A wide variety of flavors including adult/alcoholic flavors. They also had a whole host of candy available. The staff was helpful and kind. The line was out the door but went by very quick.
