Ms. Yaoyao keeps the students highly energized and lets them be silly, making learning incredibly fun. She covered all the piano basics so quickly that within just three months, my daughter was already playing complex notes for a beginner. I highly recommend the Berryessa Music School , it's Value for time and money !!! I'm satisfied with selection of this school for beginners.

Ms. Yaoyao has a wonderful way of keeping young learners engaged. My kid has so much fun with the active singing, scales, and song-playing activities she integrates into the class. Getting a young child to practice consistently can be a struggle, but Ms. Yaoyao's constant encouragement and patience have made all the difference. Thanks to her, he has made incredible progress over the past 18 months! Beyond the fantastic teaching, the studio itself is top-notch. They offer classes for a variety of instruments in both 1:1 and group settings to fit different learning styles. A huge highlight for us is that they host recitals and concerts in professional auditoriums at least twice a year, which gives the kids a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and showcase their hard work. I highly recommend Ms. Yaoyao and her team at Berryessa Music School. If your child is ready to begin their music journey, definitely reach out to them!

My son generally does best in more structured environments. This camp felt very busy, chaotic, and highly stimulating for him however he seemed to enjoy the activities very much. With a large group of children, I personally expect very active and engaged supervision, especially during free play. That part made me nervous as I saw on drop off no supervision while boys were playing soccer in my childs group. Ultimately, I made a decision to cut the camp short and move him to a another camp that blends sports and arts and had better student teacher ratios and just more a more personable manager in charge. Although GrowFit does not offer refunds, I still felt more comfortable choosing a calmer, environment. He is doing much better there, and I have less anxiety on saftey.

It sounds like a lot but when I'm given the security of his safety and knowing throughout the day he is enjoying himself, that $ is well worth it. I was nervous having never even visited the place and only going off of another parents recommendation but the staff gave me direct communication as I continuously checked in (shout out to LuLu) and she provided me the comfort of knowing he's having fun and he told me he wasn't ready to come home until the last min of his day. He is excited to go again. He talked about the fun he had that days for several days after. I would def recommend trying it out even if it's just for one time. I'm sure your kid will talk you into coming again.

Her…read moreparents hoped she would like it because it was very reasonably priced for Milpitas residents ($150 for 5 full days, can't beat that). Don't want to be unfair to this place since our experience was only for 1 week. And I'm comparing it to other camps that were more expensive. In the other camps, my niece got to know one or two counselors really quickly and bondedwith them and would talk nonstop about them. In this camp, it was babysitting, not a 'camp' feeling and the employees sort of hung out watching the kids but not participating or engaging the kids. They did not appear to have the maturity or job training that I've seen at other camps. On the good side, they played a lot of games outdoors and it included swimming at the Community Center. And, the price is right. I guess it's still a much needed inexpensive babysitting option for working parents.

The regrettable thing is that it seems they don't have the kids play any sports (aside from perhaps dodgeball), which seems ironic as it was held at a Sports Center. Most activities seem to be indoor, and it feels like it was mostly operated like a daycare center, with numerous free play periods, interspersed with occasional art activities. It should also be noted that the majority of participants were girls, and the activities probably reflected this. This was definitely not a great fit for my boy.
