Back then, I was very satisfied with her service and the quality of the cleaning. After moving out of state, I couldn't continue, but now that I'm back in NJ I scheduled another cleaning with her. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My appointment was rescheduled twice, which I didn't mind. I had already texted my insurance card well before the visit, so everything should have been set. However, when I arrived, I was told I needed to provide copies of my old X-rays from my previous dentist--who is out of state and two hours behind in time zone. This was impossible to arrange on short notice. The only alternative offered was to pay out of pocket for new X-rays. What's most frustrating is that they already had my insurance information, but no one took the time to verify coverage or let me know about this requirement ahead of time. Instead of getting the cleaning I had scheduled, I had to leave without treatment. Sadly, this is not the same patient-focused service I remembered years ago. As another reviewer mentioned, it feels like they are more interested in making money from unnecessary X-rays than in patient care. I will not be returning.

We were told this happens, but it was not removed, which is concerning to us. The second was a financial policy issue: my husband's recent appointment was canceled because he was only informed of his full out-of-pocket cost on the day of service, rather than in advance. When he was unable to pay the full amount that day, he had to cancel, and he was later refused service entirely. We feel these incidents reflect a concerning lack of attention to both patient care and communication. This focus on financial policies over the well-being of long-term patients has been a major turnoff for us. As a result, we will be transferring the dental records for our family of four to a new provider.

Dr. Royzner did two root canals on me in one appointment and did so with the least amount of discomfort and consummate professionalism. The area where the roots attached to my jaw were badly infected and he managed to save both my teeth. My previous endodontist also did two root canals and the price that they quoted me for out of pocket with insurance was $1,000-$1,030 depending upon whether they had to take an X-ray or not. They ended up charging me over $1,800! (No wonder almost 25% of their reviews are one star!) At this practice I had the two root canals and they quoted me an out of pocket cost (with the same dental insurance mind you) of $1,000. That is exactly what they charged. Highly recommended!
