Horrible! Dr Kaplan is dishonest and terrible bedside manner. Misdiagnosed a tooth infection.

I must say that this practice is a huge step up from the previous endodontist that my dentist…read morerecommended. My experience is limited to Dr. Royzner so I can't personally vouch for the other doctors in this practice but I'm sure that they are similarly competent. Dr. Royzner did two root canals on me in one appointment and did so with the least amount of discomfort and consummate professionalism. The area where the roots attached to my jaw were badly infected and he managed to save both my teeth. My previous endodontist also did two root canals and the price that they quoted me for out of pocket with insurance was $1,000-$1,030 depending upon whether they had to take an X-ray or not. They ended up charging me over $1,800! (No wonder almost 25% of their reviews are one star!) At this practice I had the two root canals and they quoted me an out of pocket cost (with the same dental insurance mind you) of $1,000. That is exactly what they charged. Highly recommended!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr Arthur Royzner at Middlesex Endodontics in Edison, who assessed & treated my…read morelarge abscess and performed a double root canal. I was extremely anxious before my initial appt. Dr Royzner was terrific! He was friendly & calming with a nice bedside manner. We discussed all my medical issues & concerns and he answered all my questions in terms I understood. He provided all the various options he could offer me, in detail, including pricing, so there were NO surprises. He was caring throughout making sure I was continuously comfortable, which I was (thankfully!). I had/have follow up calls and appts to make sure all post procedures and recovery were successful. I was very satisfied and had a great overall experience. I HIGHLY recommended Dr Arthur Royzner.

Dr. John Choi - Truly a 5-Star Top-Rated Implant Dentist! I…read morehad a failed dental implant from another clinic before, and every time I ate, food would get painfully stuck in the gaps, seriously affecting my quality of life. Later, I saw Dr. Choi's ad in a Chinese newspaper and came to his clinic with one last hope. To my surprise, Dr. Choi was incredibly professional and patient! He first conducted a very thorough and detailed examination, then explained my current dental condition in clear, easy-to-understand terms--why the previous implant failed, what options were available now, and finally recommended the best treatment plan tailored just for me. The entire implant process went smoothly; his skills are truly outstanding. The new implant feels completely natural and comfortable--I've completely gotten rid of the annoying food impaction problem. Later, I also had him redo my upper right bridge at the clinic, and the result is excellent--stable and feels just like my own teeth. Dr. Choi truly deserves to be called one of the top implant specialists in the U.S.--his expertise is exceptional, and his character is even better. He's the most professional, responsible, and respectable dentist I've ever met! The clinic is clean and welcoming, and every staff member (from the front desk to the dental assistants and hygienists) is extremely professional, warm, and friendly--service is top-notch. I highly recommend Dr. Choi to anyone needing dental implants, salvage of failed implants, or complex dental restorations! You absolutely won't be disappointed coming here--he's truly trustworthy and worth every star!

Many other dentists I've gone to have tried doing procedures and services that were unnecessary, but Dr. Choi gave me a run-down of all the options we could do and was extremely honest. I can tell he has consistently been thorough and is a highly skilled dentist. There is a reason why I only go to him even though I live in a different state- he is worth going to!!

Dr. Ahn saved me! All of a sudden, I could no longer get…read morenumb from the "standard" way.. my old dentist just frustrated the situation by becoming defensive and not giving a solution.. I stumbled upon this place because an old friend from high school was a dentist at the North Brunswick location .. he happened to leave right when my family started to be seen there.. I was given Dr. Ahn as my dentist instead.. and the rest is history. He completely numbed me (using an alternative method) and worked on fillings. He also happens to be very pleasant and patient (I'm a very antsy, nervous patient). They also treat my husband and daughter.

I went to KK Dental in 2019. I stopped seeing them because I lost confidence in the Periodontist. I…read morelearned later that she had not been certified for a year yet. My case required a big sinus lift. Her lack of explained her apprehension. What I didn't understand was why there was not a senior Periodontist there to assist her due to her lack of experience. In 2024 I got a bill saying I owed $404.80. I called asking what the bill was for and I was told by billing that they did not know, but they knew I owed $404.80. I asked for the head of billing, thinking they would know what it was for. I was told they did not have a head of billing. This went on for months. I finally told them I would not pay them if they could not tell me what the money was for and show me that my insurance denied it. Then they turned me over to a collection's agency owned by an attorney named David B. Watner. I didn't pay them. Then I got sued in Small Claims by KK Dental, but represented by David B. Watner. I turned them in to the Attorney General of NJ, which you should do if this happens to you. I found other people experiencing the same thing online. I went to court and we went before a mediator. I agreed to settle it for $250. (They had added on fees to get it up to $500.) This is why I settled. One, I'm not an attorney and I could always lose. Two, The average attorney in NJ earns $348 per hour. The $250 is below his rate and KK Dental should not get anything. AND I'm done with it. On top of that, I served him with discovery requests, which gave him billable time that KK Dental had to pay. (I'm assuming he is not married to someone in the KK Dental family or running some kind of money-making scheme with KK Dental.) The biggest question you have to ask is, Why does KK Dental have an Attorney/Collection Agency on their payroll? How was it beneficial to go to court for $404.80? Most importantly, why did they wait 5 years to bill me? And, why is NJ allowing dentists to bill so far out? The insurance company is required to respond to a claim in a specified time, which is usually 40 days. Why aren't the dentists required to bill within the same amount of time? This is the Docket No.: SCP-2025-3573239 and Case No.: UNN DC-007738-25 for my court case. A word to the wise: Do not give any healthcare provider your social security number. They do not need it to provide healthcare. It is so they can threaten to damage your credit if you have a dispute with them. Tell them it is none of their business. Do not give them a credit card to keep on file either. They will charge your card when they did not get a preapproval for a procedure. They should be required to get everything preapproved. If it is not preapproved, they need to tell you exactly how much you will be out of pocket BEFORE they start the procedure. Don't be afraid of these people! Stand up to them!
