Ii am such a big adult baby when it comes to any work being done on my teeth, xray, cleaning, filling s etc. I was referred here by my dentist. Dr Langer has the best chair side manner. The entire staff is friendly and professional The surgery went well, no pain, as promised by Ms Ruth. During the procedure, I was made very comfortable and relaxed. Provided with pillows, shades, and a blanket. They also have music, of your choice, you can listen to. If I ever need endodontic again, I'm running here. Dr Langer is excellent. He did my root canal over 10 years ago, and I sent my daughter to him, he did an excellent work! His office, however is another issue. Website says has emergency visits, but no one bothers to tell you that you need to call before 8am to get an emergency appointment. Even Vet clinics tell you that. I called three days in a row, trying to get an appointment, because I was in pain. As the office manager told me on the phone call, after I placed a negative review, "the emergency FOR US is that you have to be swollen and in severe pain". I replied that I did not know that I have to be swollen.. I was in pain, up from 4am, but did not want to call and bother anyone at 4am. I got a second opinion appt, but chose not to come because they actually called and left a message telling me to remove my negative review BEFORE I come to their office. I was willing to pay all the fees, but this voicemail got me off. As amazing as he is, there are others. read more

DR LANDER IS LEGEND!!! My uncle is a dentist as well a couple of my clients. They do not do root canals. The thought of a root canal was scary thought. I have been to Dr Langer twice. As a Veteran and business own in NYC for 30 years I know what the best is in many fields. 'He is Legend!' Why? It was a detailed step by step process with such minimal pain and/or discomfort. It was so pleasurable to deal with him and his staff. I could go on and on about how amazing this doctor is as person and professional. Incompetence. Greed. Indifference. I wish I knew that these are the principles that Dr. Langer and his office operate under. The worst part is, they make you sign the papers that you acknowledge his incompetence and are still willing for him to perform the procedures, which will fail. And please do not forget that you will pay the ridiculous charges and still be no better off than when you walked into his office for the first time. The office is beautiful and the staff is friendly, as well as the doctor. However, you pay for that office in the amount of fees they charge for your services. I have been a patient of Dr. Langer's for over 15 years. I went to have a reevaluation of a root canal. I paid when I checked in and then received another bill, as well as what my insurance paid the amount, they charge me to reevaluate the tooth, I could've gotten another root canal. I contacted them via email twice and left a voicemail once. They reported me to a collection agency who has now put it on my credit report! That is the kind of service you get for being a loyal patient! Horrible, absolutely horrendous. read more

I wish everyone was like this! Dr Langer is fantastic! I had to get a root canal done, and was truly terrified. I live in Edison and first found someone close by, my regular dentist recommend against it. Apparently having a good Endo is very very important, because when a root canal goes wrong, it can make things so much worse. So Dr Langer I went. They recognized that i was in pain, and booked me right away as an emergency, and things got much much better from there. I honestly have not been treated this wonderfully at any dental office. Everyone there is warm and compassionate, I received no judgement at all, and honestly I would have deserved some. The office is beautiful and state of the art, really filled me with confidence. Dr Langer does fantastic work, for all the fear I had, I mostly didn't feel a thing during the procedure. Downside, he does have a great sense of humor, you might have to hold your laughs during the actual root canal. Wow!!! I had my first root canal today and was blown away. Forget anything you have ever heard about root canals. I felt NOTHING! Not a thing!! My reaction afterwards was, 'That was it?'. Totally outstanding service from Dr. Langer AND his ENTIRE staff. As you know, staff can make or break a practice. I've left doctors because their staff was horrible though the doctor may have been great. Not here!! From the moment that you walk in the door you are made to feel like you belong! If I could give 6 I would! I had an AWFUL experience at my regular dentist treating a root canal. After 5 shots of Novocaine, I could still feel EVERYTHING being done to my tooth in my dentist's chair! I knew I needed a specialist because we set up 2 appointments and I just couldn't get numb! Dr. Paul explained to me if they started the process and I couldn't get numb, that they would NOT finish with me in pain. I was referred to Westfield Endodontics from people in ARIZONA and now I know why! I told them my fears and my problem getting numb with this tooth and after talking about it and explaining different techniques they as specialist use, we began. They use nitrous to sedate me and talked to me during the whole process, but I was in Lala land! I DIDN'T FEEL A THING! NOT ONE! And after being tortured the first time, this was such a relief! I cannot go on enough about this endodontist, Dr. Paul was absolutely amazing and so was his entire staff! If I EVER need another root canal, I am coming back! And referring anyone I know! One of the best dental experiences i have ever had! I can not say enough good things about Dr.Langer and his staff. Had a consultation with Dr. Langer for pains I was experincing. The staff was great and Dr. Langer was amazing even with just a consultation. He performed a few test and determined I will need a root canal. All my questions and concerns were answered. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable. I have massive dentist anxiety and was referred to Dr Langer for a root canal. The entire experience from the first phone call I made to the minute I walked out the door was an A+ experience. They offer nitrous oxide at the office, which brought my anxiety level down to a zero! Dr Langer's bedside manner is completely approachable and sincere. I was referred to Dr. Langer by a work colleague for an emergency root canal. He is simply an outstanding Endodontist. He was patient, meticulous, thorough, with an excellent beside manner and paid careful attention to pain management. He will also call you to follow up and is extremely accessible should you need to speak to him after you leave his office. His work was so good that my regular dentist, upon seeing the results, proclaimed it a "beautiful root canal" and now refers all of his root canal patients to Dr. Langer, even though his office is 45 minutes away! Dr Paul performed a root canal today. He is an amazing dentist . Very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation of the procedure. I was petrified when finding out I needed a root canal but after talking to him he eased my fears. I brought my nano iPod which took my mind off of things, but I was still able to hear him cheering me on throughout the procedure, updating me as to how much time was left.
