I thought I had found a small town camper place that was truthful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately,…read morethis place missed the mark most significantly possible way, SAFETY. I was changing out my recalled regulator, so I needed the right parts and advice to replace it. They said it was the regulator for the recall but the mounting bracket was too small and the nipple between the main hose to the camper was not provided, so had had to use the old rusted one. All of that was fixable by their maintenance guy modifying the bracket but the most frustrating thing was he sold me regular white water tape. Anybody knows that propane tape is yellow. I honestly don't care about having to modify the bracket or using the old nipple. My father always told me that people that don't care about the little things tend to have problems with the big things. They refused to refund me for the white tape after being there 10 minutes ago and argued with me about basic propane safety. If they can't handle SIMPLE SAFETY, what else are they hiding or cutting corners. I miss the good old days....

We have a small camper that the refrigerator was defective and spent most of our summer fighting…read morewith the manufacturer of it to get a replacement as it was under warranty. We finally got a refrigerator after they got the one mobile tech that we had hired to give them his diagnosis (it was fried!) and then it took us about three months to find someone else, to include trying to get it in to an RV dealer which ended up a no go to install it. Our fantastic *Camper Condo* BWI RV and Storage recommended The Camper Fixer to my husband. My hubby phoned Shawn and made an appointment to get the refrigerator installed and it happened yesterday. He's got a mobile shop, so he came to the camper storage. My husband was very impressed with Shawn and his work! We were concerned we were going to have another no show (yes, this happened twice!), but he was punctual, friendly, professional. Most of all, he definitely understood how the job needed to be done. Our new fridge had to go in through the window. He pulled the window after getting the old fridge out, did everything in less than two hours and got our new machine working! He also took great care to put the window back in the way it came out. My husband was very pleased with the job from start to finish. My hubby was expecting to take the old unit to the dump, but Shawn took it with him which saved my hubby a lot of hassle I am sure! I am holding on to The Camper Fixer number. While our camper is very small and my husband does a lot of our stuff, this will help us when it goes beyond the scope of my husband's knowledge or it's something that he can't tackle on his own. I highly recommend The Camper Fixer for your RV repairs. We contacted no less than 6 shops/mobile people and the manufacturer had set up one who was a no show. I find this part totally unprofessional with people, but there are people that you can still get work done with and The Camper Fixer is that company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you need to have some work done! You can find him on Facebook by searching The Camper Fixer.
