I'm pretty open minded and always ready for an experience so I had no prob having a total stranger see my lady pocketbook. That's the first thing I'd say to people you have to be comfortable with someone being all in your business. I've never had a Brazilian wax or a sugar wax so I read into it. Brazilian wax removes the hair in the front and the back. I must've missed reading the part about the BACK because I was a little shocked when she said it lol. Sugar wax is less harsh than regular wax bc the hair is pulled in the same direction. I met and talked with Mandy then I was taken to a private room. I took off my bottoms only and received a towel wrap that had snaps to fit on my waist. I laid on the table and let the lady know I was ready through the closed door. She came in and got to work. I would say it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. Mandy is considerate and would offer breaks but I just went the whole time nonstop. It's good to have at least a weeks worth of hair but not too much hair or else that's more pulling. Mandy went to work on the front and the BACK. The front was more effort than the back. The back goes really quick and is much easier to handle. A little weird feeling but manageable. I was there for about 30 minutes and it really all goes quickly. Mandy will talk to you throughout to make it less awkward and as pleasurable as possible. Overall it was not scary or way painful. I will be back for another. I know over time the hair will get thinner and waxing will be easier.

I was referred to Lashing on the Run after I seen the beautiful lashes a friend of mine had. I…read morestarted following them on Instagram and once appointments were open, I was able to get scheduled with Sophia in no time. I received many reminder emails about my upcoming appointment so that was a plus! Upon checking in, the receptionist was friendly and had me fill out some intake paperwork. Once Sophia was ready, I was brought in to her area. She was very down to earth and told me about the entire lash process as I was a newbie. The process is timely but I was very comfortable on the lash table which is huge because I've been on some of the other tables that weren't so comfy. Sophia washed my eyelashes first before applying the new lashes. After the wash, they were dried. She then taped down my bottom lashes and got to work. Eyes stay closed during application. There will be brushing of the lashes during the process and maybe an occasional open your eyes here and there. After an hour to hour and a half later, voila!!! Lashes are fuller and thicker and look amazing. I unfortunately don't get them done often enough to remember that I have lashes. So the next day I was guilty of accidentally doing the morning wake up eye rub and caught myself mid rub!!! I was so upset with myself, oh well there went 5-7 lashes. I had to constantly remind myself that they were there because it is very easy to forget. You can't even feel a difference. I was given an eyelash brush and a card with care instructions on it for when I got home. I made my second appointment for 2 weeks later for a refill and the process was the same. Prices were very reasonable and it seems like they always have some kind of special going on so it's hard to pay full price! Personally I don't see myself keeping this up but I can definitely see myself getting them done for special occasions. And when I do, I will definitely be hitting up Sophia for an appointment!!!
