I was told by a straight coworker that my clothing would do well if I had "Queer Eye for the Gay Guy" to help me. I don't understand why anyone needs more than two pairs of shoes (one black, one brown) or two belts (same colors). And I certainly don't know anything about what constitutes a famous brand and what does not. But I do know what looks good on me, and so did Jed. Jed is the salesman at Mix who helped me with both of my purchases. He took me to the proper section, showed me what they had, helped me to make a selection and gave his opinion when I tried them on. The first time I went there one of the things I purchased was a shirt. I've worn it twice since and each time, I've received compliments on it. The second trip was just recently so I haven't actually worn the jeans out yet, but I've tried them on three times to show them to friends and they all approve. Give this store a try, and ask for Jed. I'm sure the other salesmen are just as nice and competent but I only had Jed, so I can only recommend him. He was awesome.
