I brought a used Akubra Snowy River hat into Grif's for reshaping. Lionel did a great job restoring the hat to the original factory shape. We ran into an issue with the sweatband, and Riley went above and beyond in helping to make the situation right. First time customer, and I will definitely be back. read more

Bought a cowboy there for a wedding Reilly was amazing. Helped with selecting the perfect hat. Great customer service..

We had an awful experience with this store. We spent $540 on boots here. First of all the boots had no boxes and they were out of paper bags which was annoying. Secondly, my husband's boots felt loose after he walked in them for literally 1 hours. After a day we came to the store with receipts, tags detached & the lady was extremely rude. They did not offer an exchange or any other accommodations. Do not recommend this place ! read more

Authentic western store tucked in the city. Lyle is very knowledgeable when it comes to authentic western look. He dialed my wife and I in with hats, buckles, jeans and shirts. Happy Customers read more

Michele is very helpful with her suggestions, and treats her customers nicely. Not many people still care about that kind of customer service. The store is big and they carry quite a large assortment of merchandise. And if they don't have it, they tell you if they'll be getting it in and when. They have plenty of parking right in front of the building, so it's really a pleasure to shop here. And they have a good selection of merchandise. Of course, it's all western wear, so if you're looking for sneakers or a hoodie, you won't find it here. But if you need jeans, boots, a big-ass belt buckle or a cowboy hat (in case you're going to be out on the range), start here. read more

Calling all cowgirls and cowboys. It's time to saddle up and ride out. Davie is a Western loving town and Grifs is the store to get your gear. Grifs was founded by Al Griffin whose family first came to Broward County in 1908 from Kentucky. The family were early pioneers and helped to found the town. Griffin Road is even named for them. Al started Grifs as a small 1,500 square foot feed store 50 years ago. Today Grifs has an international customer base. They are the largest Western store in South Florida with a large selection of boots, jeans, shirts, hats, bags, belts, buckles, jewelry, saddles, tack, and toys. They have clothing for adults down to the kids and they still sell feed. Whether you are off to the rodeo or a rhinestone cowboy, they have you covered. Grifs is an institution in this town. read more

Should have listened to the reviews. Bought a pair of boots and after 2 days the boots fell apart. First they said they were on sale. Then I was told I got them wet. Then they said they cannot do anything until they check with the manufacturer and that could take several weeks. Why should I wait. They do not stand behind their product. Left with the ruined boots and no resolution. Stay away, definitely other options available. Would give ZERO stars if possible read more

Great selection at this store. Lionel was very helpful, friendly, courteous & respectful. He helped with steam-shaping my hat, cleaned my boots & put my initials on my boots. I had a scuff on my boots that I was concerned about but he got it out. I was so happy with the careful detail he put into them. read more

Really cool shop and helpful and friendly staff. They spent the extra time on fitting my hat and selling a really quality product.

Went by Grifs' this past Sunday. We had never been to Grifs' but I know it won't be our last. We met Jeff who works there and he was extremely helpful with our shopping. We went home with 4 cowboy hats, a belt, and a pair of boots for my wife. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their selection of hats and boots was great. They're not close by but worth the drive to Davie! Frank Castro Coral Gables, Florida read more

Needed a Western Wear transformation. Michelle McBride, Retail Store Mgr, guided me through the entire process, from boots to hat and everything in between. Based on her own professional life experiences as a horse owner, familiar with most of the top brands & products, she made selecting the best quality & value a breeze. I'm confident that I now have high quality products, at a fair price, that will serve me, well into the future. I would highly recommend visiting Michelle at Grif's before making any significant purchases of western related apparel and related products read more

Melina is cool. super nice and helped us get my brother a nice pair of jeans. she's awesome

Grifs is your one-stop shop for just about everything Western - from cowboy hats and boots to clothing to horse tack and other gear. They carry a bewildering array of things I have no idea what they're for. There is everything from jewelry to clothing to boots to gifts to toys to curry combs to horse tack to you name it. Walking in, the first thing you notice is the rich aroma of fine leather goods. For some reason that always gives me a warm, happy feeling. I'm not sure if it's the saddles and other leather horse equipment by the door, or the extensive (and I mean EXTENSIVE) selection of footwear. Make no mistake about it - this is the DSW of Cowboy boots. They have packed an amazing selection of boots into this store with everything from holographic sparkle to old-fashioned plain leather to snake skin and more exotic offerings. And that's just the lady's section. They have a whole other section for the guys - just as large! This is a great store and it should definitely be high on your list in the area if you're looking for Western gear. Disclaimer: I'm not knowledgeable about horses or Western gear. This was just a quick stop to look for gifts for my horse-crazy niece. But now I know where to go! read more

Large store that offers a selection of boots, cowboy hats, belts, saddles, bridals. The prices are higher than some of the other stores I have shopped. Though the selection here is Broad. I've been here several times and never had a problem. Today, one staffer insisted I turn over my tax exempt form to them. Never had to do that before, they wouldn't look up all of our prior purchases, and when I made a copy of the form, they wouldn't accept it because it was under a company name, not my individual name. If someone here is having a bad day, you're going to be disappointed. We're taking our business elsewhere. UFAR Animal Rescue. read more

NEVER go here. My friend was promised a job here and a manager named kristy ignored her call for more than a week after her training. Not even informing her that she didn't want her working there when she knew damn well my friend has rent to pay. My friend and i had to go inside to confront her. She gave bullshit excuses. I witnessed her attitude and how she treated people. Flat out rude and unprofessional. Imagine how she would treat a customer. P.S. the items they sell suck (: read more

I bought these two bags of Purina Altium from Griffs Feed Store and this is what I got. I could understand to a point how this happened. Although I go back to get a refund and they told me that I need a receipt and I ask the guy at the register to reprint it bc I know they can do reprints bc I worked there many years ago. Anyone that knows me, knows I would never go to any business much less a small business and make a claim like this. The manager came and he said that he would only give me back one bag. They wonder why their business has gone to shit. This is one reason I will never shop or go there ever again!!!! I'll be very lucky that my horses don't get sick from this shitty bag of feed that came from Griff's Western & Feed Store!!!!!! Mind you that I've been in Davie for 32 years and never return any thing that I've bought from them. read more

Grifs is a staple on Davie. The long standing country western store caters the the countryesque feel of this Florida city. I've never been and it was suggested I go. This store has all your country needs. It has boots, hats, clothing and much more. One side is dedicated to horse riding so I didn't venture over there. You can find men's and women's clothing, including Wrangler, Ariat and Stetson. There are plenty of boots to choose from. I already have a pair but felt I could find them cheaper elsewhere. The staff was friendly and I loved their hat selection. If you're looking for western wear, this is the place to go. read more

I came all the way over here and checked the store location to make sure it was open. Online it says the business hours are from 7am-10PM. As i get there, they are closed with posted store hours on there door. How am i supposed to know what the store hours are if they are only updated on the front door of the business. The manager lady needs to try and treat customers a little better, to me she ( didn't care to get her name) was pretty short and non caring... however the girl who said she started a few days earlier was very good and cared about what she was doing , ( my guess is the manager will chase her away ) I'm sure she can't contain her attitude... I've been going here as a kid 50 years ago and always seemed to be treated very nice. Covid sure has changed things, I'll check online .... read more

Ducked in to get my Western Wear on and it rocked, here's why: * Helpful and available staff aplenty * Wide selection of men's and women's boots * Lots of Cowboy hats! * Saddles aplenty! * English clothing * Cool men's shirts, and a clearance rack, score! * Belt buckles and so much MORE! So they also have feed and other supplies and stuff for horses and stuff, but I was only interested in the attire. Make sure you come with plenty of time to spend, the place is very cool.
