This hotel is close to the airport - 3 metro stations away, and €6-12 by Uber, depending on time of the day. It's also just a few blocks from the Oriente train station where you can ride the train to other cities. This hotel is a great location if you are in Lisbon for a stopover.
Traveling to downtown/old town area, you can take the metro at Oriente and then switch to the other lines. While convenient, it does add about 20 min or more to your traveling time.
There are two huge supermarkets within walking distance, and the Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre is open till midnight. Parque das Nacoes, right by the riverfront, is lined with restaurants. Not to mention a few restaurants, including bakeries, on Av. Dom João. While we spent some nights eating in the old town area, we did enjoy exploring the neighborhood as well.
Our room, as expected of Ibis, is clean, simple, and well designed to utilize the space. My only complain is that there is no fridge nor coffee machine. read more
