He paid so much attention to detail. He didn't rush, and was very focused on everything he was doing. My nails came out so classy and beautiful. I also; met Anna. I didn't expect to be writing a 5 star review because I was taking my 4yo with me, and let's face it no one really does a 5 star job on kids. Well here I am and I would say it was a 7 star job even. I got the luxury pedi/mani and the princess one for my daughter. We started at the same time, they went way out of their way just to help her get comfy in the seat and made several adjustments so she could use the massage chair while soaking her feet. The male (owner I'm guessing) worked on my daughter and did not cut any corners in her service, in fact her pedi took almost as long as mine! If you have ever taken a kid to a salon you know that never happens, kids are rushed in and out with a little polish and a 20 second massage. This was not the case, he never left her chair and gave her the same service she would have gotten if she was a full paying adult. That alone would have been enough for my positive review, but I haven't even started on my amazing service. Let's face it, with 5 kids and a husband who takes 24 hour call several times a month, there is not a lot of time left for pampering. If you promise not to tell......I think it's been almost 2 years since my feet got any lovin' AT ALL. I was so embarrassed to even show her my feet. After apologizing profusely for the dogs I let out of the cage, she got to work, without any judgement thankfully. ‍ Even though we got there at 6 and they closed at 7, at no point did we feel rushed or cheated, in fact I seemed to be the only one worried about the time. Lastly, and the most difficult in my book was my French manicure. Often times it can be horrible, uneven and hideous. The young girl who did my hands took her time and compared hands several times to make sure the length of the white tip matched that of the other hand. Despite my nails being short she did one of the best jobs I've ever had. Really can't say enough good things about this place, I'm so glad to have found them. DO NOT BE FOOLED. I looked online on my phone for a new place to go and I picked them because of the rating. We got there just me & my niece. 2 pedis no big deal you would think. The man greeted us asked me what we wanted I said 2 pedis. He said something to a girl seated in the back with long blonde hair. She responded yelling at him & arguing started in their language. I had a bad feeling turned to my niece and said do you want to leave she said sure and then after a few minutes he told us to come sit. I noticed the chairs are very worn especially the head area peeling skin it looks like. Anyways we sat & I waited for about 15 minutes with my feet soaking & nobody had started on my pedi my feet were literally pruning wrinkling. My niece was almost done so I decided to dry off me feet and go wait in the front. After I went to sit down the girl with the long blonde hair asked my 10 year old niece is that your mom? why? because I'm brown & my niece looks white? Then proceeded to tell her "If she didn't want to wait next time make an appointment ". She never once spoke to me at all ask me was I her mom or did I not want to wait nothing. She was way out of line to even talk to a 10 year old and not the adult she could have easily spoken to me. I went over stood there and watched her finish the pedicure and she still said nothing to me. As I was waiting they had charged another guest twice on her credit card. The guest was like I told her it went through and she charged me again anyways. There was a bad vibe in there when we walked in that's why I chose not to get my pedicure. Then the blonde told my 10 year old niece just sit there for 10 minutes until your toes dry but they gave another lady the blacklight and the thin pedicure slippers. I had to ask the blonde for the thin slippers so we could just leave. It was horrible and I will never pick a place just because of the stars ever again. The blonde and man were very rude to the elderly woman that made the credit charge mistake. I saw how unprofessional they were that's why I got up and said oh hell no. simple as that so save yourself some time. There's better places with better environments that charge less. I have not been able to find a nail salon that gives a great pedicure in years, and I have tried a lot of places. Some were ok, but nothing to brag about. I called iBeauty on Willow and Nees (between Save Mart and CVS.) and they were open until 7 on a Saturday . Actually, they are open 7 days a week. Anna gave me the best pedicure I have had in a very long time. The place was clean and the employees were cheerful. I highly recommend Anna and this salon. I had the gentlemen mail tech for my fill. The acrylic product started chipping in days, and by day 7 gel polish was chipping or peeling. When offered to choose a color I was offered one carousel. Another client walked in and they gave her multiple carousels to look at. So I didn't think they had very many color choices but maybe they had more than I knew about. My daughter and I went yesterday and it was by far the worst experience. The language and communication barrier was so frustrating. My daughter chose a dark purple and they decided on a different color because? If you are going to run a business in a predominantly English speaking community, please do better. This is not an intolerance of your cultural differences, I just need you to understand what I want based on your business model. This is a clean and quiet salon in north Fresno. I had not been there for a while and had received a "15% off everything" email/text from them this AM and decided to treat my friend and I to pedis. Service was relaxing. We waited to be cashed out after one of the techs walked to the back and the other one walked out of the store completely. Someone else came up after a few minutes (I am assuming the owner) and I let her know I was paying for both pedicures and using the 15% off coupon. She got mad saying it was not off everything and only off an individual service. After a few minutes of bickering, she cashed us out separately, only taking 15% off one pedi. I would not have been upset had the message not said "15% off everything." We stated the promotion should be better worded to say "one service" rather than "everything" which makes it seem that the discount would be applied to the whole bill. She stated the system automatically created the messages and they couldn't change the verbiage of the text arguing with us and not understanding what we were saying. Also, if you notice the date on the good reviews most are from a year ago, this is because a woman named Ana used to own this place but now the new owner is Vy. Ok let's continue, I showed up to this nail shop & not a soul was in there besides the owner and one other nail tech. The other lady did my nails I didnt get her name but she's the older woman with a jade bracelet on her left wrist. She did my gel pedi & mani. She is good at cleaning the cuticles, I'll give her that but her polish application is horrible. The owner looked at my toes and did a double take so I looked as well, she clearly saw it was uneven and not a good job at all but she didn't say ANYTHING! I asked for French tip gel on my hands & I was baffled at how she failed to see how uneven & smeared the lines were. I pray to god she's just old and can't see that well rather than her just not giving a single f*ck at all. I was being NICE only because she was a lot older so I kindly told her to stop trying with my pedi and remove everything off of my nails. I then said I'd pay for the gel pedi which she told me 55 & for cleaning my cuticles without polish which was suppose to be 20. I went to pay & the OWNER did NOT apologize, she then charged my card 85 & I asked why she was over charging me, she said she added 10 for removal from my previous gel. She forgot that my nail tech already told me the total. I should have known this place was going to be a miss from them having 0 clients in the 2 hours I was there & literally just one worker. The nail tech also mentioned the now owner just bought the salon, horrible way to start & build clientele. 0/10 don't recommend.
