I just got service in Dec from Honest. I came back from a five week trip and had no internet upon my return. They diagnosed it as a problem in the lines coming to my unit (so not my issue) but it will still take them 3 days to come out and restore service. He said they hear that about them a lot! Last night when I received a email from Verizon about a change to my account I realized something. If the employee at the 86th Street location had looked up my current plan I may have been entitled to a discount through my daughter's employer. The account has always been in her name and I am an authorized family member. Well I certainly learned a lesson. I have no regrets. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

Now imagine having upload / download times that are 3 times as fast as what Verizon can provide. Now imagine this being two thirds the price of Verizon. Finally imagine a company that provides almost instantaneous support / service. This is what Natural Wireless is. My specific experience: 0) Before moving, I requested a quote on service and pricing. I received an email instantaneously. 1) Moved into the new apartment on March 19th. Signed up for service. It was available immediately. 2) Same day added a Roku via email. Within 10 minutes it was on the network. 3) Same day discovered a laptop I used for work was not compatible with the default network. Placed a call. 4) March 21 a tech shows up, updates their equipment (see picture) and my router. Laptop now works. My entire home including echos, google home, smart plugs, additional laptops, FireTV are all on the network and are working great!

Then yesterday my daughter asks me if I signed up for the free Disney Plus I'm eligible to receive as a Spectrum customer. As soon as she told me the movie I want to see called Summer of Soul was showing I knew I had to sign up. I'm Happy that the process is easy using the Spectrum email I received. After I followed the instructions it let me download the app to my iPad. I'm praying I don't have to log in every time I watch something. I added the movie to my watch list and I'm ready to watch on a cold winter day! Spectrum is the Good The Bad and the Ugly! Three Stars for now.
