I turned down plans with family to wait around for someone to show up. No one did. Not a phone call or email to let me know. I went to this business yesterday, 6/20/24, to retrieve items left in my brother's car as he had passed away. I had a list of everything inside, when I arrived, none of the bigger or more expensive items we're inside his car. When it left the auto body place and was transferred to IAA, everything was still inside. Employees from this business went through his car and took anything they felt was of value or what they liked. When asked if there was a way to get those items back, we were met with, "unless you have pictures of the items, there's nothing we can do. You're going to have to contact his insurance company. " Taking personal items is wrong in general, but to take them from someone that has passed away is worse. Definitely do not recommend doing any type of business here. read more

Everything was all set up they gave me a 5 hour window of when the driver would call me to let me know he was a half an hour out. Fast forward 5 hours and nothing. Tried to call the customer service number and no one could even be bothered to talk to me. They missed their pickup window 3 times, 3 days in a row. When I finally got through to speak to someone after a 25 minute hold, the representative said that they were two weeks behind, and could not provide me a time window of when they'd pick up my vehicle. The representative refused to listen to me, and canceled the pickup because they thought I was rude. 0/10 for communication, would give negative stars if possible. Tried to sell a car through peddle and this was the company they contracted to come and pick it up. They gave me a 4-8 PM window in the end of a Mon and told me the driver would call me to let me know he was a half an hour out. They never called and stood me up. Tried to call the customer service number but it was after hours. Re-schedule to a noon - 5 pm window on a Thur and three phone calls on my part asking if they were really coming ended up on the canceling.I agree with another customer who wrote "Poorly managed and unprofessional and an outright disgrace to towing companies". I would've put zero stars but that wasn't an option. My car was stored with this company per my insurance after an automobile accident and while my car was stored there they packed up my belongings and stole 85 dollars worth of cash and private property from me. When I called to complain they just apologized but are not rectifying the situation. And admitted its been a problem before. I do not recommend doing Amy business with these crooks unless you want someone going threw your things and keeping what they want. Horrible worthless bunch of people. read more

If I could give negative stars I would! My insurance gave me the impression I had no choice to have my car towed here when I opened a claim. I know better now but too little too late. My car sat here waiting for the Mercury adjuster to come out and inspect the damages. My car was listed on IAA's web site BEFORE the adjuster even made it there to inspect my car. NOT COOL! The interior was ransacked through like someone was looking for valuables. But there's 'no record or inventory log' so it's my word against theirs. I was livid to see my car on their site, in their "inventory." Who does that??? Joke is on them, my car got towed away and fixed. Bastards. read more

Pickup of my donated vehicle was set for the morning four days ago....they never came and a waste of my morning. Rescheduled for yesterday morning....and no show. I called to find out what's going on. I was told he came by at 2:30 (not the morning as scheduled) and the tow driver "felt he didn't have access to retrieve the vehicle." and "he needed to push it out to the alley." I was at home the whole time and never a call or a knock on the door. Rescheduled for today....I am hopeful but have my doubts. What a waste of time! read more

Their tow driver threatened to fight me and yelled profanities on the phone and in person since I wasn't at the shop with the keys and title. Even though I was waiting on a phone call that he was on his way. I called support and they told me nothing they would do about it and to deal with it myself. Would not recommend and will not do business with them again. read more

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. They are incredibly lazy, rude, unprofessional, CROOKED and IRRESPONSIBLE. I made arrangements to donate a vehicle and they scheduled a towing appointment in the place where my old car broke down. I rescheduled with them, and made the drive down to LOS BANOS from Fairfield CA for their five hour appointment window. In the last 15 minutes of the appointment window, I called to see what their status was and the operator told me the appointment "Had been cancelled" BY WHOM?? I NEVER cancelled the appointment. So their operator said to leave the title and keys in the vehicle and they would be back to pick it up. This was back in March. Fast forward to today, in SEPTEMBER when I get a lien notice from a tow yard in Los Banos. I called the organization to ask why the car was never picked up when I was instructed to leave the signed title in the vehicle (WHICH I DID), and why this car sat there until it came into possession of the towing company on August 29. The woman on the phone had such a snotty attitude with me and HUNG UP ON ME when I was explaining to her that there was a complete lack of accountability on their part, and that someone needs to reach out to whomever carelessly mismanaged their lines of communication. I called back again to complain about being hung up on and asked to speak to a supervisor or at least be provided the contact information to an office that is up the chain from the agents I had been dealing with. There was nothing they could do for me since the vehicle wasn't in their possession (no s*** it's not in your possession, that's why I'm calling). They allegedly "emailed the partnering tow company about the matter." Translation: we said that to you because you are pointing out how bad we suck at our jobs and hurt our feelings and want to get you off the phone however we can. Now instead of donating a car to charity, I am STUCK with the lien charges (SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS OUT OF POCKET) for the car because of their stupid mistakes. And they will all just sit there with their headsets, soaking up paychecks while other people take the financial hit for their poor work performance. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You are better off lighting your car on fire and pushing it off a cliff. Bad service. Bad performance. STAY AWAY unless you like wasting your money on other people's screw ups. read more

I tried to donate a vehicle to this company. They have a division called vehicle purchasing solutions and their customer service was terrible. I was trying to donate a car and they made me call them four times because they wrote my middle name wrong and could not verify something and they treated me like I stole the car or something!!!! Come on, who is going to steal a car and then donate it to a charity organization....anyways...I like the SPCA and I was trying to donate a car to them and this company apparently handles their car donations but dont waste your time...donate to another organization that may appreciate it more and give you less hassle.... read more
