I was looking for a work van. Visited several lots. Legacy was closest to home and had a late model that was clean with low miles. I was greeted within a few minutes. I liked the vehicle, we talked price for an about 15 minutes. Matt gave me a quote. I left to see the rest of the vehicles on my list. Went back for a test drive on the way home. A blinker was out. He fixed it and I went into purchase after work, the next day. I was pre approved and the whole process took about an hour. There was never any pressure to buy. Matt called me the day after I purchased and asked me to come by the shop. He had found an extra set of keys and wanted to see if it belonged to me. They did! We had outside financing and picked out a van we wanted to buy. Signed the contract and put down a deposit Monday to hold it until Friday. Received a text message (not a phone call or email) on Wednesday that the van was sold and our card didn't go through. The card should have gone through and they didn't notify us until after they sold it. Horrible business practice and horrible communication. We are starting a business and processing paperwork those two days to buy the van to then be told it was sold is just not acceptable. read more

We drove up to the lot to see a car from this place. My husband asked a sales person or owner (Older Indian looking male) if we could test drive. His very first response? "Not with your dog." because we had our dog in our car. We were clearly not taking our dog to test drive in a car which was not ours. Talking about the right way to talk to potential customers. I bought my car from Matt of Legacy Autos in Roseville who was really nice but I came to find out after 5 days that my tires were so bad that I had to buy four new tires. this was only after 5 days. when I was driving and my gage said I needed air I thought that was unusual since I just got it. anyway when I went to the shop they were amazed that anyone would sell a car with such bad tires. I left his office at 10 pm and had to drive home on hwy 80 all the time not knowing that my tires were so bad. I am 76 years old. where I got my tires from people need to know to be careful if you buy a car from Legacy who said their cars are checked out well clearly that is a lie. never buy a car from here. read more

I just bought a vehicle few months ago was told it had been looked over things were fine and there was a light on when I purchased it and was told the shop just had to re set it I went to the shop who I was told looked it over they told me they didnt do a oil change on it likeI was told and just do a basic look over not a inspection so that really upsets me . I have had issue after issue since I took it home but they make sure you know as is and you can return it but they will fight it and you will pay all fees . So I am now stuck with a vehicle that was not looked over properly or had a oil change like I was told . read more

Badgered Into Changing Review My wife and I drove up from South Sacramento, on a Saturday, to test drive a SUV that they had advertised on Craigslist for 2 WEEKS. When we arrived @ the dealership they seemed bothered by our being there. When I asked about the vehicle, the guy wasn't familiar with it, so he asked the older man who was preoccupied with a TV show that he was watching, so much so that he couldn't be bothered to get out of his chair. He said that it was still in the shop and that it would be ready to test drive on Monday. We called on the following Friday and were told, again, that it would be ready to test drive on Monday. Later on in the week I sent an e-mail requesting the VIN# (because the dealer did not provide a Carfax), which they provided. I purchased a Carfax @ my own expense. The Carfax show that the vehicle was VERY well maintained & had never been in any accidents. We were very interested in the vehicle and they said that they would e-mail us when the vehicle was ready. Frustrated with, already two, broken promises we began to look elsewhere and ended up finding a great vehicle the following weekend. The following week they e-mailed us that the vehicle was ready to test drive. I let them know that we had already purchased one. We shared our experience via a review @ the request of the online car company that put us in contact with Legacy. Displeased with my recounting my experience with their company, I received a call from Legacy today telling me that I should change my review and that it was 'very unprofessional'. I reminded him the definition of professional is "engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid occupation rather than as a pastime" and that since he was being paid, and that I was not, the term "professional" did not apply to either of us. He kept badgering me to change my review and we went round & round several times until I finally hung up on him and blocked his number. If they receive ANY good reviews I would venture to guess that it's because of their EXCELLENT Badgering skills and not their customer service. read more

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP! DO NOT BUY CAR FROM HERE! Bought a 2001 Ford Taurus back in July of 2017. It only had 60k miles on it. The salesman looked me and a friend in a face and told me that the car had no faults in it. The next day after buying the car, the engine died mid-drive. Within the next 5 weeks, the battery, pcv valve, ac clutch, serpentine belt, and entire transmission broke. Completely useless now. I am currently filing a small claims suit against them. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! They sold me a car and never sent the correct paper to the DMV. I went to renew my "registration" which was non operational and I was unaware as such (my own fault for not reading that on the registration slip) and the DMV said that they had no record of my car. Sent me a temporary plate (dealership gave me one old rusty plate and got charged for not having two) and paperwork to get signed and notarized. Went back to the DMV and they told me that they would need to open an investigation with the dealership for not filing any paperwork about my car. The DMV later mailed me a letter stating this business has "gone out of business" and now I am stuck dealing with filing for a lost title, getting paperwork notarized, and not to mention time spent at the DMV constantly getting temporary tags as I have to keep filing more paperwork. I called the dealership phone number and asked why the DMV said they were out of business and Legacy told me that the DMV was lying to me and just ran me in circles with no answers. I bought my car in August of 2017 and am STILL dealing with a disaster. read more
