    Canemah Park - Prairie-mallow

Love this park because the trails are accessible for those of us with mobility issues. With my…read morecane, I was able to make my way through the gravel and the dirt trails easily and take in the beautiful wildflowers of spring. In April, the prairie area is filled with deep blue camas, and a few white ones sprinkled in. In mass, they paint the prairie blue. Up close, you can see the intricate detail, petals in shades of blue and even purple, with bright yellow eyes in each flower. They are one of my faves! As you leave the sunny prairie, you are instantly in a shady patch of forest and feel far away from the city, even though you are not. Birds chirping is nature's music as you wander the various loops and check out wildflowers nestled under the trees. I spotted Star of Bethlehem, Wild Geranium, Saskatoon, False Solomon's Seal, Field Sorrel, Prairie Mallow, Woodland Violet, and some common daisy. There are benches along the way if you need a rest or just want to stop and breath in the luxury of being in this little magical place. Along the north side, there are views of the Williamette River. In addition to the trails which are off to the right, there is a playground with a basketball court, swings, slides and play gym, all of which were in use this weekday. There is also a decent bathroom, which is very much appreciated. This park is at the end of a neighborhood where the streets are narrow. As you navigate up through the hills, be aware that children are playing. Before the park there is a dirt area for cars and if you go just a little further, a small paved parking area for about 8 cars with one designated handicap spot. This is a fabulous neighborhood park that welcomes visitors like me. April is the perfect time to visit if you want to see the beautiful fields of camas.

There is a small walking trail around the park which is nice enough, and it all seems well maintained. Directions to get here are a little strange with apps but after driving through a residential neighborhood you'll reach it. Nice spot! I'll be back when I'm back in the area in the future.

You will see her you will know who I'm talking about she's the only African-American woman working there and she has a 24 seven attitude problem she again yelled at me screamed at me while I was naked I had to call the police because when I was gonna come out of the locker room she was yelling from the outside saying things that I had to call the police for I could not safely leave the locker room she has targeted me multiple times she is very abusive and the only thing she's good at is being abusive she stared at me for a long time watching me while I was on the treadmill and I caught it she sounds like a toddler she doesn't have any people skills the only things she's good at is yelling being abusive not counting money right and she's just so miserable and tries to make everyone around her miserable she has scared away one of the staff member working there said something to them very inappropriate and her behavior only gets worse every day she had had 2 police reports on her and almost ended up in jail one night for blocking me from coming out of locker room this is not a safe person to be around this is an abuser and she has always stalked me place police warned her many times and she has an ongoing problem with attitude and she is unable to be an adult at work again again I witnessed her trying to short people out on their money they put the phone in front of her face and said now you're gonna give me what I'm owed do not interact with her. Another issue that I endured was being picked on by the white skinny lady who teaches the class in the pool a nice lady replaced her for like a week when she was out getting cancer treatment but unfortunately she came back and has harassed me in the hot tub when I wasn't even taking the class in the pool. Again the white lady teaching the class at 6pm in the pool had CANCER and came back even though the other teacher was nice who replaced her. She has been reported to staff there before and they had to ask her not to bug me and just focus on her class in the pool. She has made rude looks at me in locker room and repeatedly harassed me in the hot tub instead of focusing on her class in the pool this is not another person who is capable of nice human skills I hope that this information has helped someone to realize how toxic this gym can be not to mention how dirty it is all the time. ALSO MOLD ISSUES! DO you want to swim in a hot tub and a pool with mold around the edges do you want to take someone else's hair home? No? Then don't come here he will be leaving taking someone else's hair home multiple I mean MULTIPLE people have constantly reported to the manager Danny who is a liar he will never hire anyone to have that place clean the other locations have puke shit piss and vomit in their sauna one of the staff members mentioned at this Gladstone location that there was pee in the sauna so if it sounds fun to go to a sauna with pee in it and walk on a hair filled floor with nowhere to look that's clean and it doesn't matter how many people have reported to Danny he doesn't care to hire anyone to clean in that how he's ALWAYS been. Also all of the locker room lockers are filled with dust they never clean the floor this will never be a clean gym with staff who have good communication skills. And this is coming from someone with autism saying that their communication skills suck so they really fucking suck and it's such a nasty environment with hair on the floor no one never cleaning and the smell in the locker room can get really bad especially by the toilets cause they don't have a care in the world to spray air freshener or properly clean they will only make excuses and lie to you saying that they will find someone this is the experience for multiple people there multiple people have bugged Danny every day and told him very nicely to get someone to clean and how dirty it is he respond with excuses and empty promises. Obviously I would leave zero stars here but you have to click one to post a review I hope this review helps many people again I don't sugarcoat anything this is all true and it's crazy isn't it that they are still open with how dirty it is well good luck to everyone here it's not gonna be that fun

Was blown away on the drive out from Portland, coming down 43 following the Williamette River. The area and neighborhoods surrounding this park are just beautiful. The park itself is everything you want it to be. Swings and play structures for the kids and a water fountain/splash play area popular in the warm weaver. Bathrooms. Basketball courts. Tennis courts. Walking paths. Covered picnic area and large open field. We attended one of the Music in the Park concerts and the band was Girl Can't Help It, a Journey cover band. They were absolutely fantastic! Totally rocked it! They are playing on the Spirit of Portland in September. There was a very large crowd gathered on the large rolling green field, but it never felt crowded; everyone had plenty of space. The Music was hopping so there were lots of people dancing in front of the stage. There were families and groups of friends everywhere picnicing and enjoying the music. What a fun evening! The free music and concerts in the park is one of my favorite summer activities. Now that I have discovered Tanner Creek Park, I will proactively seek out their schedule so I can enjoy music here often. It as just that good!

Good for all ages. --Tied for best water feature (the revamped one in Willamette Park is fun too) Tanner Creek is home to the Music in the Park summer concert series and is a popular meeting place for families and teens all year round. West Linn is a mix of natural/traditional parks, best represented by Willamette and Mary S. Young, and new parks that have popped up in the newer housing developments that are much more state of the art. Tanner Creek has a nice covered structure for parties, tennis and basketball courts, and large grassy fields. The only thing that is missing is river access. That is why most of my time is spent at Willamette Park.

Received an invoice and an email from Oregon City Sporting Goods confirming my order. May 6th, I send an email to kurtb@ocsports.us as listed on the email in case I had any questions. I requested an update. No reply. May 9th, I call the business asking for an update on my order, and whoever it was I talked to didn't ask for an order number or anything. They just said that they just got a bunch of the orders in, and I would be receiving an email update within a couple days. Nothing. Today, May 27th, I once again called asking for an update. Told whoever I spoke to that the order was placed through Tualatin JBO. They told me all those orders were already delivered. Told them I placed this order on April 19th, and I could give them the order number if it would help. Their exact reply was, "Well the order number isn't gonna do me any good." They got a little flustered, then asked for my name and number and would get back to me later in the day. I called about 3pm. It's almost 930pm and no call back. Update 5/28 - Received word from someone from Tualatin JBO. The orders were received a week ago and will be distributed amongst the teams/families. Still would have appreciated SOME type of communication from OCSG.
