The Tax Deduction has become quite the basketball player at the amazing age of nine (and a half!). He plays in the YMCA Leagues mostly which are wonderful but the coaches are largely volunteer and while I appreciate their time and effort it is the basics over and over again. I started looking for a way to get him extra coaching and happened upon Shoot 360. We started with a free evaluation session to see where he was and that looked promising, which was no surprise to me. After that we signed up for monthly allotments of minutes to use for shooting and ball handling with their state of the art training methods in shooting cages and ball handling stations. It is not coaching one on one but it is measured and through measurement we can see improvement from session to session or where to allot more time to. Count on about $60 a month for your young player. However I do see middle aged people here a lot, so the pick up game players must see a value in this as well. Coaching is sporadic, you can pay for specific one on one time extra, but as The Tax Deduction runs through his drills he is usually visited by one to three coaches who correct and encourage. Sometimes I have to get a little pushy to get a visit, but this place can be busy so it is understandable. Cool Place! Cruddy location. This place looks so cool! I'd absolutely love to train here but 2 buses with weird schedules and a half hour walk down 4th plain is just not a great idea. I'm a 19 year old with no car and I haven't even came within 6 feet of a basketball for over a year. If it weren't for covid I'd be playing D2 for CWU. Without having Basketball to give me some stimulation my mental health has been very poor. I was in and out of the hospital Through July and now that things are opening up I'm looking for places to train again and get myself back to where I was before the pandemic. I love how cool this place looks with all the cool features but being in the industrial area hiding in a bunch of warehouses nowhere near a C-Tran stop just will not work for me. :( read more

In my role as the liasion for an organization bringing youth basketball teams from overseas to Portland, OR, I take each team to a variety of basketball-related events. The last team, from Brazil, I brought in was comprised of 13 boys that were on a two-week tour of the west coast. With stops in LA and Spokane, PDX was their last stop before flying home. They attended two NBA games, played games against local teams in each city, visited the Nike World HQ, toured Stockton's gym up in Spokane, and did a whole mess of shopping. Out of all that, the boys would not stop talking about their time at Shoot360. We brought them in on a Friday morning, and Will Holloway set up a comprehensive pro-style workout for the boys. Some high intensity circuit training, followed by shooting and dribbling workouts using their gorgeous, state-of-the-art equipment. Shoot 360 was just becoming a thing right as I was nearing the end of a short career playing ball in the IBL and overseas, but I would've loved to have it during the formative years of my development as a player. The speed at which you can accomplish a good, intense, workout is incredible. You can walk in the door, get some really quality work in on your handle and your jumper, cool down and stretch, and walk out the door, all within an hour. For the athlete looking to go overseas while balancing a job or other commitments, this is the perfect place to get a streamlined, pro-style workout. Will was absolutely fantastic to work with through every step of the process. Great, responsive communication, really accomodating, and great with the boys and our translator. We hang out here quite a bit. Our daughter likes basketball. A lot. She shoots on the equipment that keeps track of your shot angles and percentages to improve your game time results. Her favorite is the ball handling courts with video instruction to show new drills that you would never think of doing on your own. The basketballs have tiny microchips inside to track whether you are succeeding at the dribbling drills. The staff of Shoot 360 is friendly and knowledgeable. They check in with the parents and kids frequently to make sure the services are meeting your expectations. We have a monthly membership now which allows a certain number of minutes each of ball handling and shooting time. You can pay for extra minutes if you can't get enough (we can't). They also have a great website where you can log in and track your progress. Total minutes, shots taken, shots made, percentage shooting, etc. They take your photo which appears on the site if you allow that. THE BEST! Our kids have been coming here for about a year. They go 3-4 times a week. The staff walk around and work with the kids while they are shooting or using the ball handling stations. My older son, who is 12, also does private lessons. If your child is serious about basketball then this is the place for them. We have seen significant improvement since our sons started attending. WOW....I gotta say, this place is a basketball player and or coaches dream. Our youth team was in the OR//WA area for a basketball tournament, luckily we stumbled on Shoot 360. Shoot 360 features several Dribbling and Vertimax stations along with countless Gun Shooting Machines. In addition. To the aforementioned they also have a friendly and attentive staff.
