GREAT service and result! I got a shellac polish with gel top coat (as per their recommendation). My nails are brittle, weak, and always breaking due to treatment, which is why I don't get cuticles removed (it stresses the nervous system) AND I have Raynaud's - this all makes my hands super sensitive to work with. BUT this salon took the time to listen, recommended the right service, and delivered! My hand nails look great, I'm going back to get my toe nails done.. I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

Just had my nails done last night. 1. I asked for a certain color, the color number I picked wasn't the color I received. I want a bright glittery red, and got a dark matte red. Almost looks brown it's so dark, abs absolutely not glitter at all. 2. The layers of my shellac were so thick, and not fully cured my toes feel like they have fruit snacks on them, and are super tacky. I went in this morning to get them fixed, and explained that they aren't cured. She just told me a top coat would fix it. I kept telling her that would not fix it as the layers underneath are not cured properly. She just repeated the top coat will fix it. You're fine. So now my toes stick to my shoes/socks/blankets. My shellac is even worse. Now I'll have to pay to get them fixed somewhere else. 3. Every time I go there they use exfoliating scrub as a massage lotion, and I always get a rash. They rub my skin raw. If they were willing to fix my toe nails I wouldn't of left a review, but they completely blew me off, and made my situation worse. Spend your money else where. Every time I go here it's a huge disappointment. read more

For a quickie nail salon, I have no complaints, good amount of colors to pick from and they took their time to do a good job, my shellac polish lasted over three weeks and wasn't chipping at all. The staff were friendly and efficient which is always appreciated. Also, the back of your co-op receipts sometimes have 20% off coupons if you shop in the area regularly so you can get a really good deal. read more

Went here with my wife for the first time today and have to say it's pretty poor on the service. We got a pedicure and to say she was done in 10 minutes was an understatement while everyone else seemed to be getting services for longer than that. So disappointed. I went in today to get a manicure with shellac and she used regular polish. I asked no less than 4 times "is that gel, is that shellac?" because it didn't say anywhere on the bottle. All she said was pick a colour. I should have trusted my instincts and kept pressing until I was satisfied with my answer but I work in the service industry and wanted to trust her expertise. I didn't have 20 minutes to sit and let my nails dry under a fan so of course the minute I left my nails were smudged. I spent $30 just to go home and immediately undo everything she did. It was a complete waste of money. I literally left the salon, wrote this review and removed the polish before having to go to work. read more

They did an okay job of the manicure itself. However she cut my nails really fast and got my skin on a few fingers. When I called and asked how much it would be I was told $18.00. Then they at least asked if I wanted the chillack (shi-lack), not sure about spelling there, but didn't bother telling me it was an extra $16.00. Almost twice what a manicure itself is. I also think they should ask if you want lotion on before putting it on you because my skin is really reactive and I don't like lotion. They are pretty flexible with appointment times. So there's probably better places to go, but I'd say this will do if your nails can't wait and you can't get in at a place with better reviews. read more

I've been holding off reviewing this place because I wanted to give them a chance but enough is enough. This place used to be amazing, but has since gone downhill. - Don't bother asking for gel nails. Everything they use is acrylic. Gel is an actual GEL not a powder. If you ask for GEL and they pull out the plastic tips to apply with a powder you are getting acrylic. So that's a rip off - Seriously don't bother booking an appointment. I have seen them answer the phone and repeat the customers name and never write it down. I have sat in the chair as a walk in and people come in with appointments and I'll be out faster. - Their prices randomly change. My friend has also been going to ISpa since it opened and she gets her acrylic fill with shellac for years. Price hasn't changed on the board but they randomly tried to charge her a larger amount. For the above reasons I will no longer be going to ISpa for my nails. It's sad because this place used to be great. read more

How does painting a 7 year old nails go from $10 for toes and $10 nails, to $50? I told them absolutely not. So do the shellac which was $40. The girl was fuming mad and was going to give her just a paint job for $50 until I walked over and reminded her she was getting shellac ! No you're welcome when my granddaughter said thank you. I booked an appointment for 12 and when i arrived they hadn't written it down so i had to wait for 20 minutes. Then i was finally helped and sat down with a different nail artist then the one i booked with and halfway through my appointment my nail artist stood up, AND WALKED OUT THE DOOR. Literally just left the store and never came back so I had to wait half an hour for someone else to finish painting my nails. Horrible customer service I am very dissatisfied. read more

Some times I go to this salon and they do an excellent an excellent job and other times it's awful. Today was unfortunately an awful day. Made an appointment, was put with a woman who had never done my nails before. Burnt by the drill a few times, polish not removed properly, shaped like little witch claws (requested coffin, which I had previously) and then because I had chosen a light colour and the polish wasn't properly removed, you can now see the old polish underneath the new. Needless to say, I am not happy. Would love to know that I can go to this shop and consistently get a good set of nails. read more

Loved the location of this nail place being right next to the South Campus Hospital-how nice to have your nails/toes done in between visits to family and friends at the hosp--what a bad idea! The lady that did my nails was not careful at all. She cut my 2 times, destroyed my cuticle bed, she didn't clean behind the nail (resulted in white plaque behind the nail), and the product used on my cuticle bed burned my skin so my skin is coming off. I 100% don't recommend. read more

I used to go to Ispa but unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill. I took my nieces there for pedicures and some young guy did mine and it turned out horrible. When I brought it to the attention of the other staff members they just didn't care. I also had shellac done and it started chipping and peeling. I went back to get them fixed and I got nothing but attitude and they started talking about me in their language. I will not be going back. read more

I will no longer go to or recommend them - I have been going there for a couple years now but the service is not great and the work they do on my nails looks horrible. They always seem to be in a rush to get done - I have asked for designs but they don't seem to listen or care. I just took my daughter and niece for a nice pedicure but the girl that was doing my daughters toenails cut her toe and then put some stuff on it then was in a lot of pain because it wouldn't stop stinging!!! read more

I started going here when they first opened and was very happy with the speed, quality and products offered. I have kept going there but their quality has gone down a bit, with a different person doing my nails each time. Also hard to make an appointment with them, they usually get my name wrong and when I show up they are not ready for me. read more

I decided to try this place after going somewhere else nearby in Cranston. They were way more professional here. The technician worked quickly and made sure all of my nails were the same length and shape, and didn't lay on the acrylic too thick. Their prices are really reasonable as well. I don't normally write reviews, didn't even have an account here, but I had to get one to let people know that this place does not respect their customers. The workers talk in their native language (we're in Canada, I am in the chair, why should I not be able to understand what's being said around me, I wonder). Then, while I was getting my nails done, I noticed one of the other female workers picking her nose with the corner of my eye, and not even washing her hands! Disgusting! They don't use the single-use nail files like other places do. The polish didn't even survived the third day, I've had my nails done other places and the results were longer lasting. That's why I am disappointed and I had to let others know what my experience there was. The guy who runs the place (who didn't even said 'Thank you for your business' when I left) should know better. read more

Extremely disappointed with their services. I have been a regular for quite a while now but do NOT see myself going back. I ALWAYS get squared off nails and did go in for a fill with this shape. However the nail tech started shaping them her own way (almond shape) and did not once ask if I wanted to change the shape up. When I picked a colour on their chart I figured it was shellac (which is what I paid for) only to realize that normal nail polish was put on my nails. Not even 5 hours later and the polish on my thumb and three other fingers chipped off. I have requested certain nail techs multiple times and then gone to my appointment and was handed off to someone else. Their services are very rushed and most of their nail techs are not super friendly. I have seen people who booked their service in advance sit and wait while I walk in and ask if they have time and then they take me right away for the same service as the people waiting with the appointment. This has also been done to me as well. They over book 100%. They have up-charged me at random times. Instead of charging me for a fill they charged me for a full set and said this is our pricing now. The next time I go in it was back at their normal fill pricing. I felt extremely disappointed and ripped off. I do NOT recommend spending your money here and will not being going back to I Spa Nails. read more

Terrible. Went to get a fill and was rushed between two people.. it was dead in there.. now I see why. The lady that did my nails was rude and seemed annoyed when I asked her to fix a nail that was huge and thick in comparison to the other nails she did. She also continually pushed my hand away when she wanted it under the light instead of speaking to me. I was very polite towards her and the other staff but didn't feel any friendly vibes. My nails were sloppy and rushed and I left with Gel stuck to the sides of my fingers because I was tired of asking her to fix the bumps and imperfections she left. When I went to pay then conveniently her mood changed and she showed interest in the fact I was pregnant.. She charged me $50 for the worst fill I've ever had (I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years). I will never set foot in this business again, what a waste of time and money. read more

I Spa nails has very bad quality nail polish and customer service. I would go to another salon if I were you. I got my nails done with shellac and the next day they chipped and I had to go to a special event with with my nails chipped because I didn't have time to get them fixed. I ended up peeling all my shellac off and a few days later went in to tell them what happened. I explained the situation in a kind manner and they didn't believe me and were quite rude. I will never be going there again and I recommend no one else should go there either. read more

Although the prices are good you get what you pay for. I get a shellac manicure every once in a while because it lasts about 3 weeks. I've never had a problem with chipping before this last one. 4 days after I had it done half the polish on one nail just popped off. I went in the next day and to their credit they fixed the nail. Another 3 days and the same thing happened to my thumb nail. Again I went in and they repaired it. I'm lucky to have the time to sit around and wait but it's a pain. Since then the 1st fixed nail has chipped again and another has chipped. I had my nails done so they would look nice for the Xmas season but now they look worse than usual. I then called and spoke to the manager who told me to come back in and he would replace my nail polish for free. I went into the auburn bay location had another manicure and pedicure. I refused to go back to th seton location as was so turned off as the staff were so rude on my last visit. I explained the situation to them at Auburn Bay, they called the manager Tommy and he said he did not remember our conversation and refused to give the replacement of my shellac just on my hands after paying fir a pedicure and manicure again. Eventually after arguing they did give my the discount. Three years of business going every month and they did all of that to save 12$. I will never be returning and will be sharing this story with friends, family and work colleges in the community. read more
