I found I scream for icing on instagram when I was looking for custom cookies for my baby shower in Sacramento. Naomi gave me all the information I needed and she came up with very cute designs. I didn't know she also did custom cakes but she let me know and I'm so glad she did! We loved the cookies and the delish cake. Highly recommended.

On Friday morning July 6th I was frantically looking for a baker as my normal baker messaged me she would no longer be able to fulfill my cookie order for my friends 40th bday. I turned to google and I reached out to @i_scream_for_icing to see if there were any chance they could help on an extremely last minute notice. This baker miraculously replied she could help! These cookies were absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do them justice! I didn't even know what they would look like at all. I give this baker 5 stars for her customer service and artistry! I will be using her again and highly recommend her for your custom bakery needs.

Naomi did such an amazing job for my friends 30th Birthday Celebration cookies. The birthday girl and guests loved how the cookies looked and tasted. I was so happy and satisfied with the end result. I definitely didnt have a vision but sent Naomi pics of scenes, decorating styles, and colors that the Birthday girl loves and Naomi came up with the beautiful theme.

I was at a Japanese food event/bazaar where I came upon this booth. I love frosted cookies and this was beautiful. I didn't know which to pick (other than the one which was most frosted). mom kept saying "they're expensive"....but look at all that work....and it's all going down my stomach. Oh and did I say it was delicious !!! hope to run into your booth at other events.

I own a small catering business and we've used I Scream for Icing to do wedding cookie gifts for the couple's we've catered weddings for and they've absolutely loved the cookie. Naomi the owner at I Scream for Icing is super artistic and I put total faith on her that whatever I have in mind she'll surpass by 100 times. She's done activity emoji cookies for my daughter's birthday as well and the kids loved painting their own cookies. Give I Scream for Icing a try for any occasion and you'll be blown away!

They have some indoor and outdoor seating and it's a great date night spot or quick stop to pick up a drink and a bite. On my latest visit I popped in with some friends and we ordered some of their desserts and a loaf of bread. I took home a chocolate mousse cake and it was both beautiful and delicious. Whenever I visit the staff is friendly and the food and drinks are consistently delicious and fresh.

I dont have photos of what I got for valentines day but remmeber them being ok but nothing mind-blowing Maybe its just the DOCO one that sucks but I went to give them another chance the day before mother's day and sorely regretted it. I got the matcha croissant ive been hearing about, the new blueberry cream croissant and the mango passionfruit entremet. The Croissants were a huge flop. Blueberry had barely enough filling inside-the cream itself was tasty but croissant was rough in texture and not flaky. Matcha was a bit more flaky and had more filling-I wouldn't say GENEROUS amount as some have said but maybe I just got a bad one. The cream was too subtle -it was more like vanilla with a hint of matcha. The entremet was the only one that didnt suck-it was delicious but again I wouldn't say anywhere in Sacramento has wowed me yet with their entremets compared to places in the bay except for the ones that ginger Elizabeth has had in the past-the flavor itself was on point, i will say the texture of the entremets have a majority layer of the jelly part-if they could perfect the variety of layers you're supposed to get in each bite I would be more impressed as thats the whole point of enjoying an entremet. Honestly I should have just gotten one pastry to try in one day as they are pricey-i paid 31 not including the tip fot my pastries, and in this economy one cannot waste that much on disappointing sweet treats lol

The moment you walk in, the retro 1950s diner ambience immediately transports you back to classic Americana dessert culture. They've apparently been serving Sacramento for over 37 years! - Hot Fudge Sundae -- made with Gunther's vanilla & chocolate ice cream, topped with whipped cream, pralines, and a candied cherry; beautifully presented with warm hot fudge drizzled all over - Lemon Raspberry Cake -- moist sponge cake layered with lemon, raspberry, and whipped cream; balanced sweetness with buttercream-coated sides The red booth seating and vintage Americana decor really complete the nostalgic vibe. Service was friendly and quick, and the overall ambience was cozy, retro, and diner-themed. Rick's Dessert Diner definitely feels one-of-a-kind, I'll have to stop by again next time I'm passing through Sacramento.

Rick's was the only place open late that had actual desserts. I mainly ate their cakes. They looked amazing. But I really did not enjoy them. Too dry. Just not good, compared to other bakeries in town. Over the years, Rick's remained a Sacramento staple, and when they opened up their new location in Midtown, the dessert community welcomed them back and embraced their sweet offerings, bigger space, and late night hours. I never went til just a couple weeks ago. Around 9pm on a Friday night I was craving banana cream pie and the husband wanted cherry pie. On Yelp search, Rick's came up as the top choice that was open. So we went and stood in the long line. The place was crowded and loud. Lively and busy vibe. Line moved at a good pace and the staff helping were nice but hurried. So we took our lil pies to go. We both liked our chosen pies. Now I know what to order if I go back to Rick's. Pies over cakes. Every time.

As a student, I was eternally grateful for the outlets under the tables as well! I tried the Abuelita hot chocolate and some cookies. The area surrounding the cafe is the Golden One Center so there are so many places to walk around if you are working or studying and need a break! The staff was also very friendly, and I got my drink and cookies almost immediately. Will definitely be coming again, to try the food and a matcha! Maybe even there gigante concha!

Café de Olla is a classic Mexican coffee that offers a well-balanced blend of coffee, cinnamon, and brown sugar, often served with heavy cream to give you a comforting and energizing boost. Traditionally, it's even served at funerals as families celebrate the passing of a loved one into a better life. It's meant to be warm, rich, and meaningful. However, the café's version was far from that. The counter staff overpromised their Café de Olla, but it tasted terrible. When I asked to switch to a mocha because of how bad the coffee was, their friendly smile quickly disappeared. They didn't offer a replacement or try to make it right. Instead, I had to pay again for the mocha just to finish the coffee break with my wife. Very disappointing experience. It was an easy decision not to come back. If you're going to sell poor-quality coffee, at least stand behind it and fix the problem instead of charging customers twice. Promotes well in facebook- HELL NO not again.
