Sitting about 1,500 feet above the island on St. Peter Mountain, the place delivers one of the best views anywhere on Saint Thomas. From the overlook you're staring straight down at the famous curve of Magens Bay, with islands sprinkled across the bright blue Caribbean like someone tossed jewels across the water. But let's be honest people also come here for the banana daiquiri. They'll tell you they've served more than seven million since the drink was first made here in the 1950s... though after watching the blender go nonstop, I'm guessing the number is probably closer to ten million by now. It's a fun stop for souvenirs, a laugh, and a cold drink with a world-class view. Sure, there are other reasons to come up here but nothing beats a good daiquiri. Salute.

We learned about how he ended up in St Thomas and thoroughly enjoyed our shopping experience with him! The selection here is really vast. I originally came in set on the idea of getting the most simple version of this bracelet: silver, no frills. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider my options once I was being shown around the pins, rings, earrings, and bracelets--all with different designs, metals, and such. But ultimately, I went with my original, simple choice, and the quality was amazing. Fast forward to this year and I have somehow lost my bracelet. But, luckily for me, I see you can actually order them via their online store, as well!

St. Thomas is filled with price gouging even after the hurricanes, how can people charge $3 for a bad photo of St. Thomas? I like Island in the Sun Boutique because their prices have actually decreased quite a bit. $0.50 for postcards and everything in the store was on sale. We found out that prices are not at all set. My hubby really liked this elephant décor piece and got it for a lower price than what is was going for. So don't hesitate to ask the owner for break. This store obviously survives off of the cruise ships docking at Havensight, which are slowly coming back so I think any sale to them is a deal at this point. The people that work here are really friendly are aren't pushy about buying things. The AC is off so there are some funky smells floating around from sweaty tourists, and I think that when they get it back on line again people will stick around longer and buy more things. This shop sells everything you could want or need as a souvenir from St. Thomas, one visit here and you have pretty much seen of what all the other shops are selling. I noticed some of the souvenir prices were slightly cheaper than what I saw at a nearby beach, so it's a good place to pick things up without overpaying. LOL CSC is full of top-quality brands of clothing, sunglasses, beach attire, etc., much of which is name brands you would recognize, Yeti, Oakley... The staff is super friendly too and will help you find the perfect item you are looking for. The shop also has regular souvenir items, shirts, hats, etc. with the CSC name on them, those are pretty cool too. We visited the store in the Red Hook area of St. Thomas. They have several shops in the USVIs (like many vendors do). Recommend you stop by Caribbean Surf Company, even if it's just to browse!

I try to find a silver ring…read morewhenever I go to a new place and this place had lots of them, along with several other cute trinkets, most of which were made in-store with laser cutters, or hand painted by staff. They had things like ornaments and magnets as you'd see in any gift shop, but also had some unique little gift items like a map of the US national parks that you can peg with little wooden trees after you've visited. Everything was just so cute! It is a little pricey though, kinda your standard gift shop prices (eg an ornament my mom bought was $24). So just be aware - but def found lots of cute things here that I hadn't seen in other shops while walking around St. John. :)

Tacky trinkets and…read morecrummy t-shirts There are lots of souvenir shops on St Thomas so you won't have any trouble finding a tacky mug, hat, fridge magnet, book or crummy t-shirt. Most are pretty small and cramped but Paradise Mix is one of the larger ones. Absolutely stuffed with all kinds of trinkets, some very nice and but most of the items are appropriately tacky enough to make good souvenir gifts. The store is a bit difficult to move around in because it does have so many tacky trinkets jammed inside, but that just makes it easier to find the particular tacky trinket you are looking for. The prices are remarkable inexpensive for some of the stuff, especially if you find a tacky trinket or crummy t-shirt marked down. Since it is a fairly large store the crummy t-shirts come in a wide selection of sizes so you can find something that fits even after numerous trips to the boofay on the cruise ship. A souvenir shop that sells lots of cheap, tacky and unusual stuff along with some more expensive items. Just the type of place I look for while in vacation.
