I am not one to buy items on vacation but I couldn't' resist this steal drum. I think I found anew passion and hobby. The owner of the shop was as genuine, knowledgeable, and kind as they come. She was not a pushy salesperson and offered expertise on everything in the store -even the building, which was built by slaves over 150 years ago. I really enjoyed speaking with her about the Virgin Islands and the merchandise in the store. If you are looking for authentic Caribbean art and merchandise, no gimmicks or hassles - a friendly face and delicious food right next door DO NOT MISS THIS SPOT. I will be coming back

We REALLY enjoyed talking with the two women who I ran and I assume owned YOISMA DESIGN. They were FRIENDLY and had a NICE SELECTION of items to purchase to help us remember our trip to beautiful St. Thomas. My daughter was quite pleased with the the treasure she found at the Yoisma Design. If you find yourself passing through the Crown Bay Center, consider taking a peek at what Yoisma Design has to offer. You'll walk right by it on your way to get a taxi or returning to your ship : )

I loooovvvvve the collection of restaurants here to take a break from shopping like Fresh Bistro (Organic farm to table concept), Urban Eats, Fat Turtle, Grande Cru and Bad Ass (See my reviews of all). If shopping or food and drinks isn't on the agenda, Sugar and Spice (THE best spa and salon on island) is here next to Urban Eats. This is favorite of ours to the fur babies for walks. They are very pet friendly in the common areas, although only one restaurant (Urban Eats) allows dogs outside on their patio dining area. Its a great place to go to for a stroll and get some exercise in, and connects to the main walkway in front of Charlotte Amalie Bay's walking/ jogging path. If you are into the group exercise thing, Yacht Haven offers free Tai Chi, Yoga, and Zumba classes in the late afternoons in front of Louis Vuitton (which is quite popular) Monday Through Thursday. They also have weekly family game night and movie night out on the lawn (Friday-Saturday). Post hurricanes, this was also one of the first facilities to get back up and running with most of their tenants. It's only minus one star because of the number of stores which have closed like BCBG, coach, and cache pre hurricanes. It seems as though sales have been down so a lot of the stores can't sustain themselves. I hope they are able to get more tenants in, this is a great location that went relatively undamaged from the storms. The docks are also back in operation with only a quarter of it out of commission due to repairs. Luxury yachts have slowly started to return and like Haven sight, this area offer FREE Viya Wi-Fi! There is also free parking that is plentiful, so a lot of residents come here and chill out in their cars to get online again. If you're coming off of one of the cruise ships its worth the short 5 minute walk. #St.Thomas #USVI

From Crown Bay to most beaches, including Coki Beach, it is approximately $10 per person. It was once a US Naval Base in the 1940s and 1950s. Make sure to bring your Covid vaccine card and a mask. They are required for entry into many businesses in St. Thomas.

Enjoyed talking with owner, who has been there for decades. Very helpful. We also liked St John Ice cream. Mango, guava, mint chocolate chip all made there. Yum! Definitely go here when you are sunburned and need a break from all the beautiful beaches.

Meh, sums up an experience here. The only retail stores here are Payless and a cigarette/ vapor…read moreplace. Smoking causes cancer so I'd never go into a store like that and I'm not knocking Payless down, I ventured in there a few days ago and they are surprisingly customer service oriented. The majority of this complex is taken up by the various department offices of the water and power utility company (WAPA) and that really sucks if you have to go there. I've had to come here to try to pay my bill from August but that won't be ready until the 1st or 2nd week of December, and to find that out there's a line out the door! 1firstbank is here with an ATM drive thru that causes a back up of cars in the parking lot on a daily basis so the security guard stationed at the corner starts yelling at everyone. Parking is just chaos here ( mainly due to this drive thru). It's sometimes too hard to find a spot, and if you park at Havensight instead and walk over to use the 1firstbank ATM inside, you will be out faster than that drive thru. On the entertainment front there is a dated fake gambling center. I say fake because everything is computerized- you're better off trying your luck on your cruise ship with real tables. The highlight of this complex is the restaurant Brix. (Read my 5 star review for that place). It's a hip, trendy and modern restaurant that offers an awesome array of appetizers, entrees and drinks. I hope they add more exciting venues like Brix in the future! If you're coming on a cruise ship you can skip the rest of this place and focus on Haven sight mall or better yet yacht haven grande. #St.Thomas #USVI
