When confronted, Kevin (the "boss" according to the other employees working there) made a big show of pretending to not know anything about it. I kept asking if they had any idea who had the car and was repeatedly ignored. It was only after I suggested that the car may have been stolen off their lot and the police should be involved when Kevin finally admitted that he gifted the car to a friend of his. He said it was his mistake to trust his friend to properly register the car, but that he would get the plates back ASAP. We have been ignored since, and have filed a police report with HPD to protect ourselves since we have no idea what intentions his "friend" has for illegally driving an unregistered vehicle with my fiancée's plates. We have also had to call the DMV and Registration Office to clear my fiancée's name from the vehicle. Please save yourself the headache and go to a reputable salvage yard with respectable employees. Learn from our experience and do business with ATC at your own risk.
