Needed to put my membership on pause for the months of June and July as I was going to be out of town due to a family situation. Sent in the pause notice well before the next billing cycle to receive an email that said they could not pause June but they could pause on July and August and that I needed to complete a form to put the account on pause - and it takes at least 7 business days. Now let's be clear. To put an account on hold, they literally open the Massage Envy Launchpad (typically Meevo), select Membership | Open Membership Manager | Search for my name | Open My Active Membership | Select Freeze | Complete Freeze start, end, reason, confirm type of freeze (standard or Freeze Plus), and Save. Done. It takes less than 30 minutes to complete this type of activity and that is if you are typing with your toes. SMH. I wrote back that it needed to be for June and July NOT July and August as I would be back in August and that I was NOT turning in any form as we have communicated between email for years just fine. I do not appreciate stupid rules especially ones that do not add value or so one can check off of a checkbox - when in the State of California, email communications work in legal transactions! After a few emails, and asking what was Mission Impossible, I just decided to close account. Now, of course, I got a call from a manager the next day trying to save the account.
