I was getting my haircut the a while back there and I asked him "How long have you guys been in business?" and I believe he said 8 or 9 years. So I've been driving past this place for approximately 7 years, constantly complaining about my haircuts (that I was getting at other places), and trying to find someone in Tustin, and they were right underneath my nose! These days I go nowhere else, I don't complain about my hair, and I'm a very satisfied customer. Thank you for great haircuts. This was my go to for my haircut. In the past they always cut my hair good and the service was great but the past three times they messed up my haircut. The gentleman that was cutting my hair didn't do a part for my hair and he cut it uneven. I asked for a skin fade and he dug his nails into my scalp to get a grip. The Sunday guy is terrible. Had to warn him several times about being careful with the clippers. He kept nicking me. Had to stop him from using razor after he nicked me. He has no basic skill and was not even apologetic. Never complained about a barber before, but this guy is exceptionally bad. read more

The communication was terrible with the lady, I repeatedly said that I don't think you understand me, but she just kept insisting she understood . They can normally get you in and out quickly compared to some of the other area salons. Very friendly staff and quite affordable.

We were down in the Tustin area for our dog to have dental surgery, and while we waited around 4 hours, I decided to go get a haircut and found iBarber. I was approached by Sofie, and I let her know ahead of time that I have a lot of Gel on my hair and she would more likely wanna rinse my hair out. I tend to use more Gel as my hair gets longer. So she rinsed my hair and I noticed something. Her hands were so gentle, she was not being rough at all. When I have went to different barber places, they usually are rough. But Sofie was not rough at all. She asked me how I would like my hair cut and I'm terrible at choosing the right length for my hair. She helped me in selecting the right length without going too short. I noticed again, her hands were so gentle, I barely noticed she was even cutting my hair, I tend to close my eyes when getting a haircut. And Most of the time I did not feel her cutting my hair. She is so sweet and I believe she is new at iBarber. I really hope Sofie stays here forever. I would drive the 1 hour drive to just get my haircut here from Sofie. I'm been to a lot barbers, all across the country. I know the days of the $8 or $10 cut is fast going away. What caught my eye was that razor shave was a option. It $19 for a razor shave and hot press, also something you rarely see anymore. Tip your barbers well, because finding the right one can be a lot work. Finding the wrong one is frustrating.. I have gone here a few times since I've moved to the area, it's always hard finding a barber that you can trust to do your hair the right way and not mess it up. Every time I've gone here they have given me exactly what I asked for and not once did I leave feeling disappointed. Great spot, no long waits, plenty of parking. Not a long wait time but these folks are very inhospitable until after you tip them. Not even a hello when you walk in from the person behind the counter. I asked for a skin fade and he gave me a zero fade. The most alluring things was the reviews where people talked about the warm towel and straight razor. He literally put the towel on for 5 seconds! And only used the razor for behind my ears and my neck, even though he could've done my head since it was a skin fade (mind you he didn't even used ballers for the head)!
