After almost a month, my wife emailed (she called first, but their voicemail was full...seriously?) and was responded to by Jesse, indicating that Sean had experienced a personal difficulty (totally understand...things happen), but that he would forward things the following day. The next day (which at this point made it a month of back and forth) Jesse emailed me to let me know that, due to his personal situation, Sean's crew was sidelined and Jesse's crew was already booked out for months and would be unable to do our job...at all...and they were "passing". All this after being apologized to literally 48 hours earlier and told by Jesse that he would get our updated estimate so we could move forward. Wow. People wonder why contractors have bad names in general. I had been ridiculously patient. I even would have understood if I had been told that, due to a personal issue, our job had to be pushed back a few weeks. Suarez not only provided a much better overall value, but they also had the largest selection of styles and materials to choose from. They took the time to show us photos of other projects they had completed, which was very helpful in deciding exactly what we wanted. The Suarez team was great to work with throughout the project and offered several useful ideas that made the finished job even better. They suggested improvements for drainage that worked out great, and they also recommended adding material underneath the fence to help prevent weeds from growing back. They finished the area beneath the fence with decorative stones, which looks great and should make maintenance much easier. They also did a fantastic job removing the old fence along with all of the overgrown weeds and vegetation that had built up around it.
