I hate to write this because we love Hôtel Marignan, and always stay there when in Paris - 4 times over the last 10 years - considering it an undiscovered gem that will some day be too popular and well known with no room for us, but it's past time to share.
A warmly welcome alternative to corporate offerings, this small, affordable, family run hotel with great staff, caters to an interesting mix of patrons, from French families to American students, while offering well vetted advice for restaurants, sites to see, how to get there, gratis kitchen and laundry access - and should you be inclined, help with your French vocabulary!
