At first, I thought, okay great price for the location. I'll admit, the price was on point, but you get what you pay for.
I paid for a double, expecting some more space, but it seemed more like a single rather than a double. Two twin beds were placed together in the same room, so I thought, I could deal with it.
I thought the bathroom was super cute and cozy but then all I heard were "singing" noises coming from the pipes. You know when someone else on other floors are taking showers or baths. Also, they don't really provide you with shower soap or shampoo. It's just a contraption next to the sink which makes you think it's just general hand soap. Thank goodness we always pack our own body wash, shampoos, and conditioners as I wouldn't have used the provided ones anyway. I don't recall there being a body lotion and if there was, room service never replaced it.
They did have an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer, but neither was used.
We had a view of the buildings in front of us, which included a Michelin rated restaurant, but you can definitely hear all the passerby people and cars.
I would recommend it if you're just looking to stay somewhere convenient, however, I would probably go elsewhere if I'm looking for a roomier place to stay at. It wasn't uncomfortable, just a tad bit tinier than expected.
It is located 8-10 min away from the Eiffel Tower depending on which way you decided to take. There are cute cafes around the corner, as well as a Pharmacy nearby !
Most places were within a 10-25 min reach if you're into walking, like I am. Oh, and the metros are near by too! read more
