Great ice cream sandwiches, and bespoke to boot! One can choose the cookies sandwiching the ice…read morecream (can be different). They are baked fresh daily and include snickerdoodle, birthday cake, chocolate chip, Cookie Monster, ect. Ice cream flavors are mostly cookie and chocolate-based, with a few fruit options (strawberry shortcake or blueberry crumble). One could also order a brownie bottom sundae (brownie baked in a foil round container) and topped with choice of ice cream flavor(s). Portions are huge and can feed 2 or 3 people. This time just had a scoop of strawberry shortcake flavored ice cream in a waffle cone. So satisfying and creamy, and not too sweet. There are a few a spaces for inside seating and more tables outdoors during better weather.

The toasted s'mores is delicioudsssss! The single scoop is a really nice size so I appreciate that…read more The brownie in the cake tin thing was also pretty good, especially as someone who does not like brownies. There was only a little hot fudge drizzle though Not a lot of flavors, but they have a couple interesting ones and a couple standard ones. The cookies were ok. The gingerbread cookie was kind of mid. The white macadamia cookie was also mid but maybe a little better? I think the cookies are mid because they're meant to be eaten with ice cream? But if you're looking for a really good cookie, this is probably not the place. Perhaps the flavor would be OK in conjunction with the ice cream.

This was a great stop to cool down while strolling Lincoln Road on Tuesday 2/10/26. My friends and…read moreI stopped by and were immediately greeted by one of the employees and the manager on duty. The manager that day was super nice and attentive to us. He allowed us to try different flavors and recommended two of his own. The store itself is extremely clean and organized. There is not a lot of clutter and there are plenty of spoons and napkins around. The floors and windows were all very clean and without any defects. I truly appreciated the quickness and hospitality that the manager gave us that day. The three of us left extremely pleased with our experience and can't thank this Salt and Straw team/management enough!

Even better, the timing of my visit lined up with Salt & Straw's cereal flavor series, meaning that they were scooping one of my favorites, Pots of Gold and Rainbows. I also noticed a few flavors that sounded like local specialties, including coffee tres leches and cheese guava. Since the shop was empty, it took several attempts to catch someone's attention when I was ready to order. Once I was being helped, I sampled a couple of flavors and decided that I couldn't go wrong with a scoop of Pots of Gold and Rainbows in a waffle cone. There wasn't any seating indoors or outdoors, but the shop is located along a shopping promenade, so I took my ice cream to go and enjoyed it on my stroll.

I was desperate. My migraine medicine was not working, I was miserable, leaving Miami Beach on…read morevacay and picking up a lunch order from Don Pan, which is in this same plaza. I wandered out and walked down the plaza to find a cold drink, but there was Rita's instead just 2 doors down. Perfect! I have never actually been to a Rita's, but I do love Italian ices. I stumbled in, selected the first orange thing I saw- mango, and order a small. The small was really big, so I asked for an extra cup and spoons because I knew I had to share some with my kids, and the 'small' seemed really large. I was not making the best decisions, and just needed to get the cold stuff in my mouth at all costs. Yes, freezing cold can help stop migraines. Usually I use a cold pack when at home, and I had already used some mentholly icy gel stuff on my head and neck, so this was the next best thing. Preview to end of this story: Rita's + migraines = a happy partnership! I got into my car, scooped out half for my kids, and... this italian ice was so wonderful, beyond what I was ever expecting. I am writing this review wishing I had some right now! Anyways, back to my car, my children were suddenly silent eating their portion of the ice, and my husband was looking at our portions longingly, and by the time I finished, I realized... I needed more. My husband finally asked for his own cup, also, mango, so now I returned back to the same very nice server for the exact same thing times 2, except I finally actually looked at the menu and realized the next size up is only $1 more. $1 more! That is crazy. How could I ever just order the smalll again? This time I still divided mine with my kids, but we all got more in the end. After I ate the second half of a larger size, my migraine was gone. Thank you to the compassionate, kind employee who didn't judge me or treat me differently despite my ridiculous 'I'm having a migraine' personality. Heaven. The mango ice is heaven. And thank you, Rita's, for offering a delicious migraine fixing solution!

One of our party got a concrete, I got an Italian ice/custard blender and another got straight Italian ice. All were pretty good although my blender didn't have the topping of strawberries actually blended in, just scooped on top. Maybe that's how they make it but I found it a little odd. Overall the food was great but....service was definitely lacking. When we entered we were the only people there but the employee was on a FaceTime call with 7 or 8 other people. She propped up her phone and they just kept talking in the background. She seemed like she was either having a horrible day or just hated her job. Didn't greet us, couldn't really hear her at all, seemed bothered that we came in at all. She was more interested in getting back to her call than actually helping. Again, treats were great but just given the poor interaction I don't know if I'd come back here.
