I had a very positive experience with this Hyundai dealership. I was looking for a 2022 Kona and they had one for me to buy where the dealerships here in Memphis were low or out of inventory. Kudos to Myra Bean for giving me the heads up that they had a Kona fresh off the delivery truck and that if I wanted it, that I need to drive the hour south after work. The general manager was able to give me a great deal on this car and I was able to get into a pretty blue Kona for around $2000 below MSRP. I won't fault them for having next to no new inventory on the lot thanks to factory back orders as I write this. I haven't dealt with their service department so I can't attest to their knowledge and professionalism. I will consider this dealership again should I ever need another vehicle in the future. read more

Never take your car to this place and I would also suggest never buying a Hyundai. It was like pulling teeth with these people to do anything. They did not call me when my car was towed to their place, it took me calling multiple times for them to finally start processing for them to fix my engine, they constantly did not do what they said they were going to do, they were extremely slow with everything, and also gave me my car back with damages that were not there prior to bringing my car in, that created more problems.They claim because they were working on that part of the car they are not responsible for the issues that happen with the other part of my car while it was on their property. Went there roughly a month ago to have a few things worked on. I made an appointment for 10AM and my car wasn't pull in until after 1:30PM. I later found out it was because the first last didn't listen to the other lady, think her name was Sally, when she told her I had an appointment and because the guy working in my car went to lunch. I went there for an oil change, and to have my backup sensor and blind spot detector sensor recalibrated, my navigation map/entertainment display updated, and my headlamp washer covers replaced. Upon on leaving my sensors were still not fixed. My navigation map/entertainment display was not updated. I was told you can't update it, and after I showed the lead technician where you go to update it, he tells me "you don't want to update it." WTH Then I was told my headlamp washer cover couldn't be replaced because "they wouldn't sit in there" and the same lead technician suggested we glue the parts to the car. SMH He then suggested they that the cover wouldn't work because they were aftermarket even after I told them I ordered the part from an OEM Hyundai Parts site. After we verified the parts as OEM Hyundai Parts, I then said maybe the part they connect to us broke, and what do you know, that was the problem. This let's me know one of two things he doesn't know what he's doing or he didn't care to thoroughly inspect the problem. I was then told they could order the needed part, and that the part was order before I left. Well I called today and they have no record, knowledge, etc... of the problem, the part, or the part being ordered. I basically spent an ENTIRE day there for an oil change. read more

On September 16th 2019 I purchased a brand new vehicle from pride Hyundai in Batesville Mississippi. (2019 Hyundai Elantra) I had the vehicle less then 48 hours before returning it to the dealership on September 19th 2019. (Putting only 400 miles on the new vehicle) . The car's transmission was not shifting or changing gears. I was in a rental car for 2 months. The dealer ship kept giving me the run around about the actual issue. At first they tell me it's a "crank shaft sensor" then 2 weeks later they say "it's possibly the transmission" then 2weeks later they tell me there not sure what the actual problem is they will have to have a special technician come down. 2 weeks later " dealership is considering doing a buyback on the car because they are unsure of the issue. 2 weeks later they call we saying my cars ready. I arrived at the dealer ship to pick up my car. The initial issue was "The inhibitor switch". The dealer ship informs me they will be making 2 months payment on the vehicle for the inconvenience. I have had my car back for 3 weeks now and have not received any payment or credit. I follow up with the dealership and they keep giving me the runaround. ** I Don't recommend doing business or purchasing a vehicle from pride Hyundai ** read more

I called on April 8th and made an appointment for my car to be looked at. Appointment was set for April 20th so I had the car towed there on the 19th. Called later in the week to check in and find out what they found and they hadn't even looked at it. I was told that someone was sick and they had to pull people to do oil changes instead. Called back the next week and was again told that it would be several days before they would get to look at it. Called back again at the end of the week and was told it was the transmission and a part had to be ordered. Informed them that I had to go out of town the following week for a job and needed a rental. Received the run around so many times even called corporate and received more run around. I am now stuck without a car and can't get to my job because of the back and forth and false promises and "it's going to take a few days" quotes. Used to have good service here but now I will never come back and will never again purchase a Hyundai. They obviously do not care about their customers. read more

Come here if you want them to mess with your car, take your money, and argue with you. They took it upon themselves to do things to my vehicle that were not discussed and then expected me to pay for it all. On top of that, they were confrontational and argumentative with me to the point where I felt that I was in danger. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. read more
