My husband was at the station and needed to drive it and check it out before we decided if we were buying it. I asked the salesperson if they wouldn't mind holding it for us until Bill could get off work at 7am. I gave them, in good faith - nothing in writing, $1,000 as a "good faith hold" until Bill could get there. I made it clear that we liked the car but couldn't commit to buying it until he saw it. LARRY said no problem, we can do that. Overnight Tony changed his mind about this particular style car. I tried calling them beginning at 8am and for 2 solid hours their phone went to a full voicemail. I wanted them to know we'd changed our minds and let them know I was on my way to pick up our money. I get there, explained Tony's change of heart, and was then told' "Sorry. You don't get that $1,000 back. I've lost two sales on that car." SERIOUSLY????? I called the police, nothing phased this man. Apparently he makes a habit of this. HE'S STEALING A TEENAGER'S MONEY!!!! And thinks he can get away with it. The smug smile he wore on his face told me that. I am LIVID. Do yourself a favor and find another auto dealer. This is not worth it.

They will sell you a vehicle, then never provide title, in violation of MS State law. They will lie…read moreto you and never return your calls. Every car on the lot was stolen, and their entire business model is to defraud people into paying a high down payment, then stealing the car back after those people give up on ever getting a title. EDIT I have found out after contacting the MS Dept. of Revenue that the Carlot does not hold a legal license to operate as a dealership, and are not bonded as required by MS state law.
