When I arrived, the technician, "Ace," got right on the job (he's been doing this for over 30 years) and completed the work in less than 10 minutes, at NO charge! Second was that he already had 2 other vehicles in the bay area. He has no sitting area for customers who are waiting during the repair to sit, so I called my family member who lives in the area to pick me up, due to the fact that I live 35 miles from his shop. After 2.5 hours, I was told that my vehicle was ready. Get there, started it up, and it was a little louder than normal. I drove it around the corner, then back to his shop to advise that something wasn't right. He claimed that everything was good. By the time I reached home, I was smelling strong exhaust fumes. I parked it for the rest of the day. THE NEXT DAY, I started it up, drove 3 blocks away from my home, and suddenly, my suv started sounding worse than an old tractor! I called him, advised what was going on, and he told me to drive it back to Batesville. After arriving, dropping off and waiting 1.5 hours for a call to come and pick up my vehicle, I arrived and asked Mr. Weaver if he would reimburse me $50 of my almost $600, for my time and gas since he didn't complete the task on the previous day, and his response was to blame the manufacturer of the part. He said that he would contact them first, and then reach out to me the next week. I STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CALL! NEVER AGAIN!

I had my starter replaced by them and now the fob with the "start engine button "won't start up the SUV. Linck's automotive also wants to charge me every time a $120 diagnostic fee like they did the first time. Then now that the SUV won't start from the fob and it is doing everything that it's supposed to do when u press with the "fob" except it won't turn over the starter. I am not going to pay these so called Linck's mechanics another $120 diagnostic fee just to find out what they didn't fix correctly in the first place ( The starter and the Interstate battery have been replaced by Linck's) I bought a new fob last year and the fob worked just fine when I brought it to Linck's automotive in Senatobia. Then have them charge me another $120.00 diagnostic fee to tell me it's something else when it's not. So that they can charge me more money and rip me off even more. Linck's hourly rate seems to be a lot higher also.They also replaced my battery on the SUV. When they had finished installing the Interstate battery and I started the SUV up. The SUV wouldn't start. The reason was because the so-called Linck's mechanic in Senatobia forgot to tighten up the grounding black cable. I started fooling with the cables myself and the black grounding cable was loose. I asked them to tighten it up. What kind of mechanic doesn't know how to tighten a black grounding cable down on a battery? The battery was also a "Interstate" battery and those r not cheap. My point is everything that I have had done on my SUV by Linck's automotive in Senatobia has been fixed incorrectly and I have to come back losing money/time. A lot of times they also want to keep my SUV overnight. Then they want to charge me another diagnostic fee so that they can screw up something else that Linck's automotive in Senatobia didn't' fix in the first place. I also came in there when they opened up and wanted to speak to the owner or manager at Linck's. He wasn't there. Linck's labor prices are a lot higher also. I brought one of my friends to get their ac fixed there. We did a price comparison ( very glad that we did) before we let Linck's fix it. Linck's price was over $1,800 to fix the ac. The other mechanic off of commerce in Hernando his price was over $600 cheaper than Linck's automotive in Senatobia to fix the ac. Their AC that was fixed by the shop in Hernando is still working today as we speak. Be very cautious about Linck's automotive in Senatobia,and do your reviews on them. Also do price comparisons on Linck's. I will not be going back to Linck's when they tell me that they will charge me a $120.00 diagnostic fee again for work that they have already done and diagnostic fees Linck's has already charged me for. Who has $120 for a diagnostic fee to just throw out the window these days ? Then when Linck's gets done with ur vehicle and your driving down the road. Your SUV stops working right after Linck's worked on it. then I'm having to call someone to pick me up on the side of the road? I don't think so. Be very careful and do your reviews.
