It all started when I signed up my son first, while it didnt work out for him because he needed to go to therapy and other commitments my daughter on the other hand had ask me to enroll her too. Before I knew it, ACE Taekwondo was all she talked about. What began as curiosity quickly turned into real passion and that excitement has only grown. A big reason for this is the amazing Master Kim who has a gift for connecting with kids and making every class fun, engaging, and encouraging while still teaching discipline and respect. Even more special is that he trained under his own dad, the Grandmaster, and they now teach together. The kids truly get the best of both worlds tradition, experience, and a positive learning environment. Not to mention, we are always welcomed with the sweetest greeting from beautiful Mrs. Kim. My daughter looks forward to every class. There's no convincing or pushing needed she's genuinely excited to go. The Master and Grandmaster consistently bring out the best in her. I was so used to watching my daughter shine in the acting/modelling world, so seeing her light up in Taekwondo came as a wonderful surprise. It's been such a reminder that when kids are placed in a supportive, (such as ACE TKD) welcoming environment, they often discover strengths they didn't even know they had. Beyond learning kicks, forms, and discipline, my daughter (me and my son too) has made new good friends,This isn't just a Taekwondo school, it's a community that encourages, supports, and celebrates its students. Who would have thought a non-athletic family would end up cheering so loudly from the sidelines of a Taekwondo class? We're incredibly grateful we are part of ACE TKD Family.

What truly sets Quest apart is the heart behind it. The Master and instructors are incredibly patient and intentional with every student. They work beautifully with different ages and personalities, and they are especially understanding and patient with kids on the spectrum. Every child is treated with respect and encouraged to grow at their own pace while still being challenged to improve. This is not just a place that hands out belts. Students earn every promotion through hard work, character, and skill. Quest produces World Class Blackbelt champions, but more importantly, they build confident, disciplined, and resilient young people. The kids don't just become better athletes -- they become responsible teenagers and natural leaders. Another thing we love is the community. Inside this school is a small but strong family of parents who support one another. The kids form real friendships, families celebrate together, and everyone feels like they belong. Joining Quest Taekwondo has been one of the best decisions for our family.

From the very beginning, the staff was welcoming, patient, and absolutely wonderful with all of our girls. They put together a two-hour class that was incredibly well organized and structured while still keeping the girls engaged and having fun the entire time. They talked with them about anti-bullying, personal safety, confidence, awareness, and different ways they can protect themselves if they ever feel unsafe. The girls also learned basic martial arts skills, including how to properly kick and strike, and one of their favorite parts was getting the chance to break boards! I was so impressed with how much they were able to teach the girls while making everything age-appropriate, encouraging, and fun. Every girl walked away feeling proud of herself and more confident. We are definitely interested in checking out more of what Final Strike Martial Arts has to offer and would highly recommend them to any family looking for a martial arts program for their child. Thank you so much for giving our troop such a memorable experience!

The instructors encourage you to challenge yourself, but they never push you to the point where you dread coming back. They meet you where you are and genuinely want you to succeed. Special shout out to Mandy, who has been our class instructor for the last couple of months and is an absolute gem. What surprised me most is what an amazing workout Tai Chi actually is. It looks slow and gentle, but don't let that fool you--I often leave sweaty. Since starting, I've noticed a huge improvement in my strength, balance, and confidence. A real-life example: I have a 40-pound bulldog who needs to be carried downstairs every morning to go outside. Before Tai Chi, I struggled (and he was a bit afraid). Now I can carry him down an entire flight of stairs without thinking twice, and he seems to really appreciate me not being wobbly on the stairs anymore. That's a pretty noticeable difference. I also appreciate that the class includes people of all ages and abilities. No one is trying to prove they're the strongest or the most athletic. It's just a supportive environment where everyone is working on becoming a little stronger, healthier, and more capable than they were the week before. I also really like how the more advanced students join us at times to help and encourage us. (Hint: If you're looking for a fun group of seniors, join our lunch class on M, W & F) If you've ever been curious about Tai Chi but wondered whether it was "enough" exercise, I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations. I look forward to every class, and my mom and I always leave feeling better than when we walked in. I'm so glad we decided to give it a try.

When I reached out via their scheduling system to set up a free trial, I was immediately called back and I spoke to Ben the owner. He set up a date and time for my son to visit and try a class that evening. Ben met with all of us first to discuss my son's goals and to explain a little bit about their school and then my son joined the teen class right after. My son loved it and we decided to have him attend classes there. They offer teen classes every evening and morning classes for everyone as well as Saturday morning classes. Ben and his wife, Joy own Oom Yung Doe and are some of the most kind and welcoming people I have met! My son started attending 2.5 months ago and I will tell you, he loves it, but more importantly, his grades have come up and he is doing amazing scholastically! My son took the Star360 (a statewide test) last school year in May and was in the red zone (concerning zone-he has been for most of his school career) and just this week, he is in the blue zone (the zone they want all students to be in). Images attached. We are shocked and so excited for him! We can't wait to watch him grow and change due to the training he is getting at Oom Yung Doe! If you have a child who is struggling with school, please reach out to Ben at Oom Yung Doe and have your child attend a session or two. I attached the website link below. I promise you won't be disappointed and if you attend for a few months, you may see their grades increase like we have! https://meet.oomyungdoe.com/free-consultation-ca
