I'm so glad I found Hana Taekwondo!! I first walked passed and took a look and immediately wanted to enroll my son. It has been two weeks so far and he absolutely loves going to class! We tried enrolling him in soccer, swim, and other activities, but somehow my son just loves coming to Taekwondo. Master Won leads and inspires children to do their best not only in taekwondo but in life in general. Kids learn respect for themselves and others, discipline, gain confidence, and best of all they are encouraged not to give up on whatever they started. I am an instructor here, and I've been with other martial arts locations, but this place is honestly the best. Master Won is the best kind of master out there. He is honest and fair with his team and his students. He has been my master for five and a half years now and over the course of my time with him I have learned that his teaching style is the best. Many masters in the U.S talk far too much, overexplaining the whys and how's of technique and adding metaphors to martial arts. Master Won uses only as many words as necessary which allows him to effectively teach in 40 minutes what it takes some masters an hour to teach. Master Won studied and learned Kukkiwon Taekwondo in South Korea, and I wouldn't recommend anyone more highly to pass on the art of taekwondo than him. read more

Master Won and the team at Hana Taekwondo Academy are amazing! I can't begin to describe how much having our son there meant. They made him feel welcomed and made training fun. We saw improvements in both our son's physical and mental endurance. When he started, Dyl could barely stand on one foot without losing his balance, now he's doing tornado kicks! I have been in tae kwon do for a whole of 7 years and it has been a true journey. My goal is to be a true leader in this environment. I have practiced and have now reached my 2nd degree black belt and training onward for my 3rd degree. I would like to further on teach the younger belts in this community. My 7 year old son has been doing taekwondo for almost 2 years and has been a student of Master Won for several months. My son loves coming to class. Master Won and all of the instructors are amazing. Master No won is the best taekwondo master. If you want to train your body and mind You should try Taekwondo! I'm a 12-year-old middle school student, and I train at Hana Taekwondo. I really love this place because the instructors are so kind and always encourage me to do my best. I've learned not only Taekwondo skills, but also respect, confidence, and discipline. The classes are fun but also challenging, and I feel stronger every week. Master Won is excellent. He has a wonderful way with children/teens and energetically encourages them to participate. My experience as a student here has been incredible. This place is a great environment to learn martial arts as Master Won and the instructors are friendly but constructive in their teaching.
