Home Owner/Property owner Beware of this so called contactor We hired him and paid 17,502.00 for…read morework on our property and they did not do proper installation on anything!! tried to install the cheapest Sliding door after installation the door would not function would not open??? they had to rip it out and install a better door?? rework?? then they in closed our garage they built the wall wrong and not what we wanted!! the wall is not sealed open areas on outside of the wall gaps between the wood?? so water leaks in on the outside face of the wall?? and the wall leaks water??? flooding the garage?? then i had to seal it myself after they came out and supposedly seal again?? the cement job the grade is wrong?? and there's fibers all in the top layer of cement?? suppost to be smooth finish!! they did broomed rough finish??? and they widened one of my driveway entrances and it's done wrong and sloppy!!! and 2 weeks after cement was layed it cracked!!! Bad prep job!! the gate they built is crooked and all the wood is warping twisted so bad I could not open the gate???? then they pulled up some bush shrubs and a tree leaving us with unfilled holes?? then they where suppost to clean up the yard and did not??? they incapsulated our stone walls using two types of cement and now we have areas that are white and don't match??? when they were pulling up the shrubs /trees etc they used their pickup trucks and a tow cable to pull up the roots?? and destroyed a stone wall and the gate they built and damage the side of my house?? they moved rock from the areas they were cementing and dumped it on my front yard leaving it in piles?? with no plastic layed??? and I had to smooth and move the rocks myself??? they left the job un finished?? and I had to call and call to try to get them back out to correct all their work??? the last time I managed to get them out to fix the water leak in wall and fill in the holes with fill dirt!! they just racked all of my rock landscaping into the holes??????? no fill dirt!!!!!! and they smeared caulking all over the outside face of the garage wall they built and left it??? they thought it was funny???? and to this day the job is still unfinished?? and all of their work has to be reinstalled and reworked and they did this job back may 2021 and I have tried and tried to get them back out here!! but they are a fist full of excuses??? and refuse to stand accountable??? and fix their bad installed work!! so know I have to Hire another contractor to demo all their work and get it done right!!!! so I am forced to file and sue steadfast contracting!! report them the BBB and file against them with the county!!! and file a police report and charges!! of defacing/vandalism to our property for putting caulk on the outside garage wall defacing it!! and thinking it's funny on top of all this!!!!! and if anybody wants proof I got security camera footage video proof picture proof and text proof were he admits to the defacing/vandalism!!! and you are more than welcome to come and take a tour of our property and see for yourself!!! This Companies work!! and we demanded a breakdown at the beginning for of each job and requested a receipt and they to this day have not complied???? During my time there, I saw a constant turnover of employees and staff coming and going. I left due to ongoing issues with not being paid, and I'm not the only one--others are still owed money. After I left, my name and phone number were still being used with customers without my knowledge, which led to confused and upset homeowners contacting me directly. To my knowledge, the company is also currently facing legal action from the city. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend homeowners and potential employees proceed with caution.

I was shocked to see parts of the roof had inflated into large bubbles, and one of the eaves was pulling away. Of course, it was perfectly flat when installed by A-1 Roofing in 2007, and performed flawlessly over the past 16 years, far beyond the warranty. In fact, despite the grotesque deformation, the marvelous barrier was doing exactly as intended--keeping the wet & exterior climate from intruding into our living space. I was extremely satisfied with that and had no qualms about contacting FELIPE MARTINEZ [915.252.5552; felipea1roofing@gmail.com] for another superior roof. In fact, because the roll roof A-1 had installed on the almost flat ~1800 square foot area had survived as long as it did made it easy for me. I normally would contact several roofers/obtain quotes/compare for the best deal, but the excellent performance of the 2007 roof was all the evidence I needed to have A-1 do it again. Their timing was better than expected, only 2.5 days from the moment their roll-away dumpster was deposited in one half of our driveway until roofers JOSE & JAIME were putting the finishing touches on the stunning hot-mopped/white granulated roof/Sun-averse white painted squares around the vents/swamp cooler jacks, I could see another wise investment in our home. I really appreciated their attention to details like a well-installed/new drip edge along the inside & outside roof perimeter, and constantly cleaning up behind themselves/work area. It was expensive (~$12,500), maybe two or three times as much as the usual hot-mop roll roof (~$4,000; which we've had before with other roofers during our 30+ years here), but those roofs might last a third or a fourth as long, so we're really saving money paying for the extra-special roll roofing. There is no question in my mind that A-1 Roofing definitely has my coveted "¡Wheel of Approval!"

I found out when my rook leaked again that he used aluminum coating instead and told him to recoat with elatomeric as originally agreed. He has refused. He came to reseal the flat roof in the areas that were already cracked and within 2 weeks, I have noticed that he did another shoddy job. When I first got to know him, he presented himself as somebody that is fiscally responsible and ready to serve as County Commissioner Pct.4. Do yourself a favor, he is not allow him to sweet talk you. He does not keep his word and athe job he has done for me has been shoddy. I am still waiting for him to reply to my BBB complaint (1 week and counting).
