I've had multiple IVs here since I have a membership and have always had a great experience, which is why I'm taking the time to share this feedback. On June 7th, I brought a friend who was visiting from Washington to get IV therapy with me. We were offered a private room, and the staff was attentive at the start of our visit. However, after our second IV bags were connected, neither of us was checked on again. Both my friend and I fell asleep during treatment. I eventually woke up because I needed to use the restroom and pressed the call button multiple times before someone responded. When the nurse came in, she noticed my IV bag was empty and so was my friends . Once the lights were turned on, I could see a significant amount of blood had backflowed into the tubing approximately 12 inches from my arm. When the IV was disconnected, blood also got onto the pillow beneath my arm. I was told this was "normal" and the situation was laughed off, which left me feeling uneasy. After speaking with a nurse friend, I learned that while the blood backflow itself is generally not harmful, it can happen when an IV bag is allowed to run dry and isn't disconnected promptly. What concerns me most is not the blood in the tubing, but that neither of us was checked on after the second bag was hung. Had I not repeatedly pressed the call button, I'm not sure how much longer we would have been left unattended. I've always had wonderful experiences here, which is why this stood out so much. My hope is that this feedback helps improve monitoring, especially for guests placed in private rooms. A simple check-in and a more professional response would have gone a long way. read more

I've been feeling crappy last several days, almost the entirety of last week. I know I was very dehydrated, no matter how many fluids I tried to drink. I know I needed some help so we found the hydration room and quite honestly their prices were not bad at all. I just chose the basic Hydration Refresh IV Therapy since I've never had IV therapy in the past. Based on all the symptoms I had been having, I noticed a difference within an hour or two after leaving and now basically just need to stay up with my own hydration and doing what I can until this goes away. I can't wait to try one of the other services during a time when I'm not feeling horrible. The staff was very friendly and attentive and I wasn't pushed into upgrading to spend more money. I started coming here back in February since I was feeling sick and I had my sons birthday party I needed to feel better for. As soon as I walked out after getting my IV I felt so much better and was able to power through the party. I ended up getting a membership since I'm always getting colds that my 5 year old brings home from school. Since I've been doing the IV therapy I have not had a cold! As Villa Park residents, I've always seen this place while shopping at Ralph's and frequenting Rockwell's, but never really investigated. My friend who goes to the Newport Beach location extolled its virtues before all her travel, and recently, when she came down with a nasty bout of flu. My husband and I both felt achy and feverish for over 24 hours and we have a milestone birthday to celebrate this week, so needed some relief quickly! We booked online on a Sunday (which was pretty brisk service) and came 10 min early to fill out new client paperwork on their iPads. The nurse told us what ingredients are in the cold/flu cocktail we were getting- a lot of concentrated vit c, bs, zinc, steroids for anti-inflammatory, and some glu-something that they inject during the last 15 min of the drip. We got a private room as husband and wife, but there's a general room in the front with 4 beds. The poke room is also a separate room. Overall, my husband is still a bit skeptical as his aches initially went away, but came back a couple hours later. His hot/cold chills are still present. I am feeling a lot better, especially when my fever broke. They offer a lot of different IV cocktails depending on what ails you or what your wellness goals are. There's also membership packages. A free B12 shot for new clients, which we didn't take advantage of today since our cold/flu IV had alot of b vitamins already. Hours vary each day, and they always close from 12-1pm for lunch. read more

I came across an Instagram ad promoting 50% off all services for first-time visitors, which is what initially got me interested. When I reached out to inquire, I was told the only promotion available was 15% off--which felt off, but I decided to give it a try anyway. The experience itself was smooth and enjoyable. The staff was friendly, the process was easy, and I even added on a few extra services. I ended up signing up for their $149 monthly membership because I did see value in what they offered. That said, I still feel misled. The ad clearly said 50% off for first-timers, and that wasn't honored or even acknowledged beyond a quick "that's not available." It left a bad taste in what otherwise could have been a great first experience. I'm leaving this review not to bash the business, but in hopes that they do better with being transparent about their promotions. Husband and I were greeted by Becca at the desk. We went without an appointment. She was very welcoming and pleasant. Husband had been feeling overtly tired and lethargic so a friend referred us here. We were informed about the energy boost IV and that sounded like the perfect fit. My husband got it and the results are so noticeable. He wakes up refreshed and overall feels great. The RN that initiated his IV was also very helpful and spoke Spanish. Just had my first IV therapy at the Villa Park location and it was great. I was nervous to come because I do not like needles and my veins are hard to find. Nurse Victoria was awesome and found my vein with one poke. Usually when I get blood tests, it causes anxiety for me as they prick me a few times to find my vein. I opted for the skin health IV drip which was around $200. It took less than an hour to complete everything and felt awesome afterwards. There was no pain or anything which put me at ease. I am thankful for this business. I have been struggling since December after being diagnosed with diverticulitis. Sometimes it flares up and the pain as well as the dehydration is awful. Today I had the sweetest nurse and receptionist. I was in bad shape they went over and beyond to be helpful and compassionate. When I started throwing up they didn't get upset they just took great care of me. A few hours later I'm feeling a lot better and I am grateful for their services. I'm a regular but this was my first time at this location. The nurse I had seem to rush with everything. The moment she poke the needle in me it hurts a lot while I try to stay calm not saying anything since she put tape over it already but my god it hurts even when I move. This is the first time ever I am now traumatized to needles again! She came out back in 15 mins saying you are done then I looked at the drip it was still dripping so she say just a little more to go. I usually time each location I go to and this was the fastest drip I got and painful as well. It was not cheap neither! I don't recall her name but she was a red head long hair. I'm never to come back here ever again. I will go back to seal beach it's more relaxing, pain free and I sit there for 30 mins while it takes time to drip. read more

So, I had my first visit to the Hydration Room today, my first IV Therapy ever in fact. I was quite nervous and excited. This is something I have been wanting to do for quite some time. I really want to start by saying the place is lovely, clean and the two gals that were there today were as friendly as can be! When I called yesterday to book, the gal I spoke with (Marissa?), was super helpful, and when I expressed my want for Glutathione therapy she said, "You're going to love it!" She explained the nurse would go over my needs and concerns and recommend the best treatment. I was greeted well, and again the place is great. I was so chatting from nerves but the sweet receptionist just dealt with me :) After the obligatory paperwork, she took me back to meet the Nurse and explained she would take it from there. The lovely soft-spoken nurse introduced herself, handed me a laminated menu, and asked what package I was interested in. I explained it was my first time, my current health challenges, including high blood pressure, and told her I was there for Glutathione therapy. She was kind enough to take my blood pressure. She recommended the Skin Therapy, Wellness Therapy, or Immune Therapy packages by pointing to them on the menu. The problem is, I have NO idea what those are compiled of. It is NOT listed under the package name, nor are its purpose/ benefits. I asked her many times which she thought was good for my liver and she just kept answering Vitamin C! I asked her if that was good for detox, blood pressure, and cleansing of internal organs? She said, well, which do you want? WELL, I don't know it's my first time. She finally suggested she call the Dr to ask him what custom fluids he would suggest. I loved that idea, agreed, and off she went. But then she came back and said, we can't call the Doctor, it's lunchtime. Around and around we went again, me not having a clue other than asking for Glutathione which was what I had read would be most beneficial for me. She really had no idea, then suggested the Skin Therapy again, so fine. I was exhausted and felt pressured. The treatment was pleasant. She was great with the needle, it was quiet, quick. When I went to the counter to pay, I expressed my concern that NOWHERE in the room does it give details on exactly what the packages contain or the detailed benefits, yet behind the receptionist desk, there is a board that has a bit of information including the fact that the Skin Package is best for acne & appearance! NEITHER of what I was looking for. The lesson here... Do your research before you go, and KNOW what EXACTLY you want. Don't be intimidated like I was and let them talk you into something else you didn't need I am sure I will benefit from the IV, but certainly not in the way I had hoped for $200. Bummed! :( UPDATE Dr. Florie reached out the same day I posted my review. When I spoke to him the following day he accepted full responsibility and apologized for the misguidance during my visit. I appreciate this extended customer service and will more than likely go back for my 2nd infusion in the next few weeks. read more
