I had also heard about filler cumulation and migration. This really made me nervous so I did 5 hours of research to try to find an injector I could trust. I wanted someone who was more focused on producing a natural and balanced appearance through rejuvenation NOT augmentation. I have OCPD so I also wanted to find a technique oriented perfectionist who was a student of her craft. After researching photos and reviews on Reddit, Google, and Yelp for weeks, I chose Skinbiotic and specifically Kami. Here's why: - People raved about Kami's genuineness and her skill - The before and after photos of her work revealed a natural and tasteful style - Skinbiotic was offering a year end special and the prices for fillers and Botox was incredible BUT I have heard of places that don't actually use the real stuff but knock offs that don't work and/or last so I decided to see if Skinbiotic was listed on Botox/Juvederm's Alle site as a provider which I was thrilled to affirmatively confirm. ( BTW some other injectors that have great reviews are NOT listed on the Alle site). I am sooooo happy with my choice. From the get go, I got a very warm feeling from Kami who did not overbook herself so she was solely focused on me. She spent time asking what I wanted and agreed that regaining some of my lost lip volume would be appropriate. Here's the moment of truth for me: I said I did not want duck lips and Kami responded by suggesting I should switch from Juvederm which I asked for to Restylane and she explained that Juvederm has a thicker consistency which can create more protrusion which some people prefer but in my case, she recommended the more viscous Restylane ( which is also the preferred filler for the under eye area because the tissue is very thin). While Kami was injecting my lips, I was impressed by her attention to detail. She was not rushing to finish but rather she was meticulous about each and every injection and i could sense the wheels turning. Anyways after about 1.5 weeks all the bruising and swelling is gone and I couldn't be happier with my refreshed lips!! I have missed them but they are back!! Thank you Kami! Muah

I had one of the most concerning medical/cosmetic experiences I have ever had at this clinic…read more My medical record contained multiple false and inaccurate statements, including conditions I do not have (such as "excessive hair on the forehead") and medications that were never prescribed, discussed, or explained to me. This is a serious issue and raises major concerns about the accuracy and integrity of patient records at this clinic. During my facial chemical peel, the procedure was performed by Salma Molina under the name of Gabriela Ortiz, PA-C. However, I was left alone in the room with Salma Molina during the procedure, without proper supervision. There was no appropriate protection for sensitive areas such as my eyes, lips (with semi-permanent lip blush), eyebrows (with microblading), or hairline. I was NOT informed about or offered any barrier ointment, and I was NOT asked if there were areas to avoid, despite the clinic later falsely claiming this in writing. The application technique was careless. The chemical solution was running into my hair, scalp, and down my neck, and I could even taste it during the procedure. I repeatedly expressed discomfort, and this was not properly addressed. Seven days later, I returned for an unrelated back peel and raised these concerns again. Salma Molina appeared surprised and stated that she "was not aware" of what had happened, which is extremely concerning. I filed a formal complaint, and the response from Practice Manager Matthew Ramirez was dismissive, inaccurate, and failed to address key concerns. There was no accountability, no apology, and no meaningful investigation into what occurred. Instead, the response appeared biased and focused on defending staff rather than addressing patient safety. Patients trust providers to deliver safe care, professionalism, and accurate medical documentation. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated the opposite. I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before choosing this clinic.
