Unbelievable! The best chicken tandoori ever, and I swear by this, the NAAN... you have to go and get the naan. Trust me. It's huge, it's so soft, it stays so soft through the entire meal, I don't know how. It's so soft and so good, comes out piping hot right out the oven. Just go and try. Trust me.

Visited based on yelp reviews. 2 samosas, chicken tikka masala, goat vindaloo, garlic naan and regular naan were ordered. Fatima was very personable and helped me to recall vindaloo. The food was delis and exceeded our expectations and when Fatima says that the naan is huge, she's not over exaggerating. Think of a 12 or 14 inch pizza. Highly recommend visiting for the food and service.

    Garlic Naan

Great hole in the wall place that's family owned. You can dine in but it's pretty much self service and there's not that many tables, but it's kept very clean. The food was very flavorful and they accommodated the spice for us since we wanted mildly spicy. The garlic naan was crispy yet soft on the inside, it was really delicious and I'd def come back to try other naan flavors. We also ordered butter chicken which was really delicious as well, we dipped it in the naan and it was a great combination. Chicken biryani had all the flavor as well and the portions were huge. Also It's bone-in chicken in the biryani in case if you were looking for boneless. The owners all checked in with us periodically which I thought it was very sweet. Will definitely be back!

    Goat Haleem
    Catherine F.

I tried Goat Haleem for the first time here, and I was impressed by the amount of flavor it packs! I asked for it spicy, and it definitely had a kick to it. I was expecting it to have goat chunks, but I believe that the meat is shredded and integrated into the haleem. I also ordered the Garlic Naan, which was huge (bigger than the size of my face). Although I ordered over the phone far in advance, my food wasn't ready upon my arrival, so I had to wait a while longer, but everything was hot and delicious. The store was empty, so I got to interact with the owners, who are very sweet. They offered me chai while I was waiting, and I really liked it; it had the perfect amount of sugar.

Great Indian food. Will go back any day. I loved the butter chicken and it is perfect to dip some naan in there.

The location used to be a late night a diner but they have used the space well for their needs. Plenty of booths to sit at and the counter is still there. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. For food we started off with the Chicken 65 and that was really delicious. If was my first time having that and I will be back again for it. We also shared the chicken vindaloo and butter chicken and both were well seasoned and great portions. The garlic naan was amazing and freshly made. Overall I will be back and will be adding it to my list favorite Indian spots in DFW. Go check them out.

The tandoori bone-in chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the spices and flavor were excellent. I got it with a side of rice and cooling raita sauce, with were great complements to the chicken. The service was great, and they were very patient with me given my lack of familiarity with most of the menu items and seemingly unending list of questions. It's a pretty intimate atmosphere as well, it'd be a great spot for date night!

It was pretty obvious I was a first-time diner, and I was hoping for a little guidance through the menu--but that part was kind of missing. My friend had been raving about the butter chicken, so she ordered it... and so did my other friend--who, at one point, completely stopped talking because his head was on fire. Taste buds? Gone. Brain cells? DEEP FRIED!!!!So yeah... if you can't handle spice like me, consider that your warning .They both ordered mango lassis, garlic naan, and jeera pulao. This is an important part of the story but let's proceed with caution. I played it smart and ordered the tandoori salmon. The waiter hit me with, "What about your entrée?"--sir... this *is* the plan. Then came the subtle appetizer judgment, so I asked how big it was. Based on the hand gesture? I was expecting something light/ 4 ounces or less( another fact to be revealed lately. Tell me why this "appetizer" came out as a full-on 8-10 oz salmon, covered in this *delicious* mystery sauce with red onions, carrots, and a lemon wedge. A whole situation--and honestly, the flavor was perfect. The jeera pulao on the side though... let's just say it showed up but didn't say much. Now here's where it got... confusing. Since the sauce wasn't listed, I asked an employee passing by what it was--he told me he just clears tables. Next thing I know, the floor manager comes over asking if everything's okay. I'm like, "Everything's great--what is this sauce?" He looks completely puzzled. I point directly at the salmon like... *this sauce*. The confusion was real. Then he says, "Chef made the sauce." Sir... I would hope so Since the busser didn't know. At that point, the chef comes over asking if there's a problem. I assure him there's no issue--I just wanted to know about the sauce (turns out, dill was the main note), which, to be fair, was actually really good. The chef was kind, professional, and easily the highlight of the visit. But know I'm thinking it's the sauce they used if you don't order an entree .. Meanwhile, my friends are still recovering from what I'll call the butter chicken explosion--extremely spicy to the point it wasn't enjoyable, and somehow still lacking flavor. Disappointing for one of their most talked-about dishes. Their drinks were served and although the glassware was nice the drink itself was.......?? SWEEEET ,but not for me , We wrap up, decline dessert, and ask for a to-go box. Then... we wait. And wait. And wait. It's not even busy. No check, no follow-up--just vibes. After a solid 15 minutes, we're this close to leaving cash on the table. Finally, the server comes back. We ask for separate checks--he says he can't do it on the handheld device. Yeah... that's simply not true. Modern POS systems (especially handhelds) are built to split checks, assign seats, and handle exactly that. Whether it was lack of training or effort... not sure. Or just a lazy server who gives the service industry a bad name , excuse me if this is job then DO BETTER ! But we ended up split it three ways. Just to end the dreadful experience ! Bonus moment: he asked my friends to leave review while running their cards--but he didn't asked me / since I didn't order an entree and I tipped 20%.So my 22.00 appetizer  end up being 43, with tip . Shame on you agian. All in all: great salmon, chaotic communication, spicy struggles, and a memorable night for all the wrong and right reasons

Truly disappointed!…read more My experience at this restaurant was uncomfortable and disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the visit felt very different from what I would expect at a welcoming restaurant. We were greeted politely at first, but shortly after, two non-Indian customers walked in, and the waitress immediately went over to welcome them and bring them water. We had not been offered water at that point. When she eventually came to our table, she asked if we were ready to order but did not seem fully present or attentive while we were speaking. We then had to ask if we could also get water. When it was brought out, one of the glasses was broken. Later, when we pointed it out and asked for another glass of water, there was no apology or real acknowledgment, which was very disappointing. We had to keep asking for water unlike other non Indian tables. The food itself was mediocre, but the service was what made the experience unacceptable. It felt like we were treated differently compared to other guests, and that is not something I expected or appreciated. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting again.

Beef Ribs: These were the star of the show. They were incredibly tender, melting off the bone with deep, complex flavors that set a high bar for BBQ. Brisket: While still high-quality, I found the brisket in Austin to have better meat to fat ratio. The Dallas version was good, but it didn't quite hit the same heights as the Austin achieved earlier in our trip. Even with the slight variation in the brisket, Terry Black's remains a standout. The combination of fantastic beef ribs, a great vibe, and reliable service makes it a must-visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
